Pros:

When used with Dan's regimen I started seeing results in about a week and a half and it helped prevent acne when used properly according to his instructions.

Cons:

Dry skin but I used CeraVe moisturizer which helps.

When used in Dan's regimen it works but I highly suggest replacing it with his gel but I saw results with this when used properly but the gel is a better alternative but if you can't seem to get the gel then this makes an accurate substitute.

Pros:

It works for my moderate acne with consistent use.

Cons:

EXPENSIVE and leaves a white film.

After finding Dan's website about a year or two ago, I began using a modified version of his system. I use eye makeup remover to gently remove *all* my makeup each night before bed then applied the Neutrogena product generously over my face. It leaves a white film but gets the job done and is in an easy to use package (tube sits on the cap so I know I am getting all of the product out). If I skip it for a night or two the blemishes re-appear, so I must use it every night. This is extremely frustrating because I am on a tight budget and this stuff is expensive, but convenient (pick up at the local Wal-Mart). Today for the first time I ordered Dan's version and I will use it for a year or two and then write a review on it. I read some of the reviews people have written and I hope that it works better than the Neutrogena for me as well. I'd rather give my business to this website since it is less expensive for Dan's version.

Pros:

Works very well
Cleared up acne quickly
Doesn't smell too bad

Cons:

Can make skin very dry and flaky if you use too much or don't use moisturizer
Tends to burn if I use a lot

This product is amazing! I am so glad that I found this through acne.org it has made me feel so much better about myself! I have light acne so I'll usually have a lot of little pimples or a few big ones. I''ve been using this product for about a week or two and it's really helped! All my little blemishes on my forehead are gone and it's working on my larger blemishes. I could tell the day after I started using Neutrogena that it was working. When I first started using this I would wash my face at night and in the morning with my Cetaphil daily cleanser but only at night time would I use the Neutrogena on the Spot. I've been using it every day now sometimes morning and everynight. My skin is VERY dry but that's only because I don't put moisturizer on. It doesn't feel dry it just LOOKS dry. Anyway, this product is GREAT and I recommend this to anyone with light acne as it'll clear it right up quickly! I'm not sure with more severe acne but it's worth a shot!

Pros:

It really worked for me! It actually doesnt dry my skin out. It is very affordable. Works better than any other product Ive tried (including Proactive!) It doesnt burn at all.

Cons:

It takes FOREVER to start taking effect. takes a couple days to clear up a couple blemish's. took a month to finally get rid of my black heads

It works but takes a while to take effect.doesnt dry up my skin. Affordable, and works!

Pros:

+Clears up acne .
+Skin will stay clear if you use Dan's regimen religiously and properly.

Cons:

-dries out skin, making it feel really tight
-extremely sensitive around the eyes
-will cause redness the first week or two
-BP is a bit tricky to apply if you have facial hair since it sticks to the hair.

Before I started using this, there wasn't one day in my life where I didn't have at least one noticeable pimple on my face. I tried everything over-the-counter and everything my dermatologist prescribed to me didn't work. When I started using this, my skin actually got a little bit worse for awhile, but after about a month it started to clear up my skin! You just have to give your skin time to adjust to it. If you were just like me and nothing has worked for you, it doesn't hurt to try it,

Pros:

it's easy to find, benzoyl peroxide (woot woot!), fast results!

Cons:

it's pricey, tightens skin, itchiness occurs

i bought this a few days ago because i had tried it at a friends a while back, and it works wonders! redness and the protruding of acne will subside overnight, but it causes skin to become EXTREMELY DRY! use tons of moisturizer and follow the regimen. i would recommend it, just wish it came in a bigger tube...0.75 oz for $10 is quite a lot.

Pros:

Clears up pretty well
Prevents new spots from appearing

Cons:

Dries my skin out
Caused rashes
Not easy to blend with makeup

I don't know how much this would help but here goes... I'm 17, German-Chinese, a mix between pinkish European skin and yellow Asian skin tone, with moderately sensitive skin. I initially followed the acne.org regimen but it gave me rashes all over. Little itchy red bumps with flaky skin, all over my face. I now use a cleanser, toner, moisturiser and then the Neutrogena but I dab it on my problem areas instead. It has cleared me up quite a bit compared to other treatments. Try it!

Pros:

Works quickly
Removes redness
Reduces swelling

Cons:

Price
Slightly drying

I came across the regimen about a month ago. I have tried soooo many things and spent sooo much money trying to find products that would work for my skin. I decided to first purchase On-the-Spot before purchasing Dan's BP (just to make sure I would have the same results I've heard so much about). I used it twice a day following Dan's regimen and I couldn't be happier. My skin has never been so even toned and clear! I first cleanse with Cetaphil gentle cleanser, then (after waiting five minutes to dry) I apply the 2.5% BP. I finish it off with Cetaphil lotion. Since the tube is so small (.75 oz), I decided it would be more beneficial to order Dan's BP. Hopefully it will work just as well! My only complaint (aside from spending eight dollars for a tiny tube) is that it is slightly drying. But a good moisturizer should help that. There is a slight burning sensation as well, but it's not painful. It kind of feels like a minor sunburn. As I continued to use the BP, my skin got used to it and the burning sensation disappeared after time.

Pros:

-If you feel a new pimple coming and spot treat it for a consistant amount of time the pimple will NOT form!
-It cleared up inflamed pimples and black heads for me
-Didn't over dry or irritate my skin like other products have

Cons:

-Dries very fast upon application USE MOISTURIZER!!
-Must use consistently

This product helped clear up my skin almost completely. It doesn't necessarily prevent new acne from forming but it spot treats very well and I only get occasional pimples every now and then. In addition, only one pimple will form rather than two to three. I'd definitely recommend this product. **I was using an oral prescription which might've helped my skin but my skin didn't clear up until I used this product...the products given to me by my dermatologist never had these types of results**
