Pros:

Well, it sort of helped with the acne but not too much.

Cons:

Dried my skin A LOT

I used to have an oily t-zone, but now its SOO dry around my mouth and between my eyes, and when i put lotion on it to fix the dryness, it gets red and starts too burn.

Pros:

- Made my face feel pretty clean until I dried my face

Cons:

- Very drying
- Doesn't smell nice
- Didn't clear or prevent my acne

Oh man how this face wash was so extremely drying. I have never had my face itch so badly with anything I've used for my face before. It didn't smell good either. The only reason why I've been using it for maybe three weeks tops was because my Mom was. She wanted to finish it before she bought me something new to try. It didn't clear or prevent my acne at all. If anything it made my face feel pretty clean until I dried it. Then I had to put layers upon layers of moisturizer on. I don't recommend it if you have moderate acne and sensitive skin.

Pros:

None

Cons:

- Smells
- Dries out skin
- Makes acne worse

Do not buy it. It is the worst acne wash I have ever used. After using this wash for 5 days, my skin was so dry that it looked like i had a white beard. I even used moisturizer after washing my face. After a week of not using it my skin is finally back to normal.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Drys sensitive skin
Too harsh
Didn't work, only made my skin worse

My skin felt softer and was a little clearer in the first couple of weeks.(although so minimal it was hardly noticeable) I never had acne, I was only self concious about a pimple I had gotten during my menstrual cycle. I thought that this might help or atleast work quickly. I would use it all over my face rather than only applying it to the pimple and also allowed the foam to touch my neck (accidentally) and would then wash it off. One morning I woke up late and was about to wash my face when I looked in the mirror and saw enormous red pimlpes over every part of my face. A couple days later I also found that my neck looked red and burned. (Like sun burned only worse) It was horrible. I ended up going to the dermatologist and am still struggling with my skin 9 months later. If you have sensitive or dry skin like mine, steer clear of anything like this over the counter. Word of advice: Apply small amounts in the beginning, don't overdo it.

Pros:

None for my skin.

Cons:

Dried out my skin.
Didn't stop me from getting new spots.

I was disappointed with this cleanser. It irritated my skin and had a negative effect on my acne. Disappointing.

Pros:

This pimple I had dried up very quickly, but of course, the rest of my skin followed.

Cons:

Leaves my skin VERY dry. I stopped using proactiv about a month ago just to see how this would work out. I'm back on proactiv now, but my skin type has completly changed. My skin looks good, but I need a lot more moisturizer than I used to need.

I guess this is good for oily skin. Make sure you have a very good moisturizer if you're sure you want to buy this.

Pros:

absolutely none

Cons:

drys skin out, causes acne and redness, smells bad

this completely ruined my skin - my skin was perfect before i started using this, and i used it for about 3 weeks. during this time, my skin got steadily worse, and thinking that skin had to get worse before it got better, i continued, but eventually stopped. 2 months later, though, my skin is still broken out, and not getting any better.

OK not great
Get Dan's acne.org cleanser and compare it to this. This an average product produced down to a price. Drying and not particularly gentle. OK but not great.
