Pros:

Not expensive
Feels good when you put it on

Cons:

-I have super pale skin, and this made me SO RED!
-Made me flaky
-Gave me more acne
-Got burned by it

It's really not the best product Neutrogena has.

Pros:

Lathers well, washes away clean, oil-free, inexpensive, easily found

Cons:

Fragrance, doesn't travel well, didn't work for me

If your acne responds well to salicylic acid, this product may work for you. It didn't work for me- I need benzoyl peroxide

Do not recommend
I fortunately do not have bad acne, and this product seemed light and easy on the face. I have sensitive-ish skin on my face. The first two days of using this product, my skin seemed fine. But this morning I woke up to super dry, cracking skin around my nose and tiny red bumps all around my mouth and chin, forming an almost mustache like rash. The bumps itch and burn like crazy, and the dry skin isn't a treat either. I thought my other face wash was was bad until I purchased this. I stopped using it immediately and I definetly will not be purchasing this product again. Straight in the trash can!

I also do not have acne but I purchased this because I hear it is amazing. I had the same reaction and still recovering. I have bumps over my lips and the irritation on my skin I break out in a couple of hive like bumps. I thought that maybe bcos it is for acne and that I do not have I am over simulating my face causing this irritation

Cheap

Cons:

- itchy
- red
- bumpy
- sore and swollen
- and very dry skin

Made my face really itchy and red. I had small bumps on my face like pimples but tinier.my face felt like it was on fire and it was swollen to my throat.

burning and irritating
I started using this and on the 3rd day my face was bring and itching. I don't think this product is made for black people.

it kinda helped for the most part but really didnt get rid of my acne like i wanted it to, still on the grooling search for the product sent from heaven to get rid of my acne for good.

Pros:

Doesn't smell terrible

Cons:

Made my face extremely dry
didn't clear acne
didn't clear blackheads
very sticky

I bought this product a couple years ago, and used it for about a year. I didn't decide to review it until now. Every time I used to use it, my skin felt very sticky (I washed it off really well). Even right after I rinsed my face, it started becoming extremely dry, tight, and flakey. Even when I put moisturizer on the flakiness was still there. I used it for a year, thinking it would finally make my skin better. It didn't help with acne at all, just made my skin really dry.

I wanted to like it.
The first night I tried out this acne wash, my face felt clean, but it was also very tight. After using it for a couple of days, I noticed the skin around my nose was starting to peel and there was a lot of redness and irritation around my breakouts. I was very disappointed with my results, so I stopped using it. This product really dried out my skin, so if you can't buy anything better than this, I'd recommend using a moisturizer afterwards.

Stopped some of my acne but it doesn't clear it up. :|

I help my acne stop a little but the whiteheads that were already there haven't cleared up. I used it one night and the following day it was a little windy and i got a windburn because my skin wasn't moisturized well and it give me raw skin :

It's Okay
I used this stuff for my oily skin. It worked fine. But, I've been using it for a week and it's making my skin dry out, peel and itch. I wouldn't reccomend this. It's bad for your skin I believe
