Cons:

Pros:

Works very well at the begining...

Cons:

After about two days, and all of the dryness, slowly yet surely more and more pimles form...and keep forming.... and your skin develops a weird, almost glazed look to it. it's really gross...

i thought i finally found a miracle--- but then i realized that this is only good for some types of people and i was definetly not one of them. my advice is go to a dermtologist and ask them about it first and maybe even get a second opinion because after 5 weeks of this, my skin was only redder and had more pimples.

Expensive. But well worth it.

Pros:

Clears Acne!!!! Helps with hyperpigmentation! Awesome product!

Cons:

You will peel, and your skin will get red. (You may even get a few more pimples) But it's part of the process and if you stick with it the results are fabuluous!

I have had acne since I was 12, moderate acne that a teenager would get but this past summer due to stress and hormones I got terrible cystic acne. I went to the dermatologist and was put on 6 different meds to calm the process down. It calmed it down but that's about it. So I went to a different Dr. Got put on Obagi. She told me all about the side effects (redness, peeling, worse acne) but told me if I stuck to it that I would love her! And I do love her and even more than that my skin! I have only been on Obagi for 6 weeks. And still have another 6 weeks to go but if it has helped this much in just 6 weeks I can't imagine how amazing my skin will be in another 6 weeks. I have maybe 3 pimples now. I do have some hyperpigmentation and scars but they are fading and I plan to do a a couple chemical peels after treatment if I need it. I highly recommed this product!!!!!!

Pros:

I use the Obagi ClenziDerm 5% benzoyl peroxide serum gel. It does a great job at eliminating pimples on my chin.

Cons:

Pretty dang expensive! That's why I only use it as a spot treatment.

This is a good product. 5% BP is very potent. And since it's a gel that liquifies on contact, it goes deep down into your pores to clear blemishes. It can make your face dry and red, so make sure to use sparingly!

Pros:

It's a great product !

Cons:

It does make your face dry and red

This is my 2nd week of using obagi nu derm system. so far my face is getting dry and pimples on my forehead and side of my face and chin, it's very itchy thoug and turn red. this 2nd week i noticed that my pimples on my face is fading away. I don't peel though just wondering if what i'm doing something wrong. if i don't see any reviews online i would say this thing doesn't work for me. but i will hang in there and will stay until the trial period of 3 months. see what will happen in the next weeks i hope something good will happen to my face.

Pros:

Product works very well for regenerating your skin, getting rid of cystic acne, lightening age/sun spots, etc

Cons:

You really need to be dedicated to the entire system and use it daily for at least 6 months or your affects may not be as good

I have been on Obagi Nu Derm with Retin A for about 4 months. This product is worth the money, but be prepared to keep up with the system for at least 6 months. It will dry your skin and cause redness, but if cracking or bleeding occurs then you should use the product every other day. Another solution is using a non-drying lotion cleanser that isn't quite as "stripping" as the Obagi Gel.

Pros:

Not really sure that this has done anything good for me. I used Clenziderm for Dry Skin so maybe the one for Normal/Oily skin works better

Cons:

Causes large cystic acne, Expensive considering results, Time consuming, It takes a while to do because you have to wait 10-15 min after washing to put on step 2 and then wait 1-2 min for step 3.

I suffered with acne years ago and had finally gotten my face pretty clear. Then, a few months ago I started to get little pimples all over my cheek and some breakouts around my chin. I went to go start up chemical peels again, since I had had a lot of luck with this in the past. The esthetician recommended this product to me while I was there. I have been using it for a month and a half and while most of the little pimples are gone--I now have large cystic acne all over my face!! I did not have any breakouts like this before. I was told your skin might need to purge but I am getting large cystic acne ALL over! Places I have never had breakouts before are becoming inflamed. I am very disappointed with this and really feel like it is making me worse. Even if I don't touch them, all the acne is leaving scars so now I look just like I did years ago. It took me 6 years to get my skin back to being decent and it took Obagi a month and a half to ruin it all over again!!
