Pros:

It was fun to get the stuff in the mail.

Cons:

It caused .25" layers of skin to peal off at a time, especially around my nose and mouth. It didn't do a thing for my acne...may have made it worse. Didn't help my melasma either.

Not good for people with acne.

IT WORKS REALLY GOOD!

Pros:

None

Cons:

Caused my face to break-out even worse; very expensive.

I used the clenziderm system. This is simply a horrible product. I went from having mild acne to having severe acne, and had the opportunity to get to know my dermatologist much better in order to fix all the damage caused by this product.

Pros:

- works in the short term

Cons:

- once my skin cleared and i stopped using benzol peroxide my skin broke out.
- stopped working in the winter when the air got dry.
- dehydrates the skin
-contains parabens and lots of other scary ingredients

If you need a quick fix then it will clear skin for a few months but it's not a long term solution.

Pros:

The BP serum Is a good spot treatment.

Cons:

Dried out my skin HORRIBLY!!! Did not prevent new breakouts! Over priced!

I went to a med spa where they gave me the clenziderm system because I had a bad breakout on my face at the time (from previous products they sold me) and within the first 3-4 days it did clear my breakouts and I thought I struck gold! However, that was short lived, because my face was clear for about a week and then I started having new breakouts and then my face got so dry, flaky and umcomfortable from using the products it was aweful! My skin would be so dry and tight after washing my face at night I couldn't move my face. When I spoke to the lady she told me to continue using it that my skin would get use to it,lol, what a JOKE, it only got worse! So, I discontinued the product and made an appt. with the Dermatologist. Its been over a mth now since I've used it and my skin is still not back to normal. This product was just way to much for my skin! The only good thing is I use the BP serum (just a little) as a spot treatment and that seems to be ok, as long as I don't use a lot.

Pros:

Treats discoloration, scarring, great to use for half a year for these problems

Cons:

DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU HAVE ACNE especially long term grade 2 or above acne! TRUST ME I KNOW! Acne disapears but will come back jsut the same months later. LEAVES SKIN VERY VERY RED and embarassing. FRAGRANCE IS NOT GOOD FOR SKIN OR HYDROQUINONE!!!!

This is a very good product if you are willing to have BRIGHT red skin for months and months, took my help from a PROFESSIONAL (DERMALOGICA TEACHER) to get rid of the OBAGI damage, took ALOT OF MONTHS! If you are willing to go through it and the expense it is worth for scarring and discoloration BUT NOT IF U HAVE ACNE caus it will come bak. If i used it any longer i would have gotten SKIN CANCER!! BE WARNED! INVEST IN LASER PROCEDURE INSTEAD! IF YOU HAVE OBAGI DAMAGE TAKE MY WORD- GO TO SEE A DERMALOGICA SPECIALIST THEY ARE VERY GOOD IN TREATING OBAGI DAMAGE AND ANY SKIN CARE PROLEMS, its wat the celebrities use and it is more affordable and doesnt damage skin.

Pros:

Obagi is a great product.

Cons:

If you have sensitive acne skin, it can be too harsh.

For Tears of Joy: Get Sheseido facial brush, use with foaming cleanser or Dove, circular motion on bar, circular motion on face, rinse well, rinse brush also. If you used make-up, clean brush on Dove or cleanser again, hang to dry, keep out of puddles in shower. Use gently to exfoliate, a bit harder to get out grime. Gets rid of whiteheads/blackheads. For those with sensitive skin it works as well. Wait a few minutes then also use witch hazel, don't worry I look 10 years younger and I've used it for years, works great after wash. Pat gently only. Then go to your Gen Med doctor get sulfacet r with tint instead of make-up and use it 3 times a day, washing your face when you can before. Use before bedtime too. Insurance covers most of it, 10-12 dollars a jar w/insurance. Use one or two jars a month. Guys use no tint sulfacet r. (Sulfacet r is mainly used for rosacea, but is wonderful for acne) No more acne...stop eating junk food, you are what you eat...cheating sometimes is okay, but be careful. Everyone in my family cleared up this way. We ranged from cystic acne to teeny pimples all over. Clear skin finally!!!!
