Not for me...
I love this line but the moisturizer is a little oily for my skin. Maybe Daniel should make another one gel base. I switch to Clinique Surge Moisturizer. Its pricey but way better than this. I would use this at night but not during the day! I looked like an oily mess during the day but I do not mind it before bed Daniel so 3 stars for at night... I guess

The Truth Behind This Mositurizer
Other reviewers have posted negative reviews stating that this moisturizer dried out their skin. Let me explain this... I switched away from this to a few different CeraVe moisturizers, because I did not like the shine this put on my face. Using CeraVe for the first week was great, until my face had a thick, waxy layer I could not wash off. My face then started producing the same shine with CeraVe, along with a few breakouts. The reason behind this is because I have an oily nose, chin, and forehead (combination skin). CeraVe is great for those with dry or normal skin, but it will over-hydrate oily skin, leading to more breakouts. This moisturizer was formulated to help prevent that. People with oily skin have more of an acne problem than people with dry or normal skin. If you have dry skin, you should definitely try a CeraVe moisturizer. Although, if you have oily skin (which many acne sufferers do), this is your best option at avoiding over-hydrated skin. Simply, this moisturizer hardly moisturizers enough to compensate the moisture loss from the benzoyl peroxide. PS: The licochalcone in this moisturizer is what gives it it's yellow color. This can be very beneficial for people who are still adjusting to the regimen, or in cold climates, as licochalcone is calming to the skin. I like it because it makes my face look tan and healthy, which cancels the whitening effect of the benzoyl peroxide (preventing a pale face). Make sure not to get it on any white fabrics, as it will stain yellow.

Not too bad, but tans your face
Great, but tans your skin. Probably only noticeable if you're vampire pale like me.

meh...
I tried the trial version of this product. I just wasn't pleased enough to order any more of it. I think it left my skin looking oilier than I would have liked. On the plus side, it did not irritate my skin and seemed to be quite moisturizing. Currently, I'm using CeraVe moisturizing lotion instead and sometimes (at night) mix that with jojoba oil.

Average, but not Great
Because everyone's skin is different, it is impossible to judge whether this moisturizer will work for you. In my case, the moisturizer provided everything as advertised in the first few weeks. However, every day after that I felt no relief at all and eventually stopped using it entirely. For those on the Regimen, it's best to use this until you are almost perfectly clear and then switch to a different moisturizer. I would recommend using Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream as it synergizes well with the Regimen and is priced in the same range as this one. The common complaint of "shininess" and "yellow coloring" can be argued for but are easily dealt with using a thin paper towel. Other than these two issues, I didn't feel any other side effects. To sum things up, if you have struggled with dry skin in the past, pass this up. For those whose skin is oily, I cannot speak on your behalf and wouldn't know the results for your skin type. For those who never have to worry about dryness, this product will probably work more favorably for you.

Doesnt absorb quickly
I purchased this with the treatment. I always have a very difficult time finding a moisturizer for my veryyyy sensitive and combination skin that wont break me out and this stuff doesnt! yay what a plus! however, this stuff takes forever to get absorbed!! I used half the amount recommended, like half a pump, and it still takes forever to get absorbed. Once it is absorbed (a few minutes) my face doesnt feel greasy. a lot of ppl complain about the colour, but it is no difficult than the famous clinique moisturizer! it doesnt change the colour of my skin once absorbed. in conclusion, i like this one, i will repurchase as the positive out weight the negative!

Too greasy and not moisturizing enough

Pros:

really good ingredients
calming on the skin

Cons:

greasy residue, too much jojoba for oily skin
could be a bit more moisturizing

Not a bad moisturizer at all, the ingredients are very nice but I would love it if jojoba oil was a bit lower and sodium hyaluronate a bit higher in the ingredients list. I don't find jojoba oil moisturizing enough and still it leaves quite a greasy residue which is a problem if you have oily skin like me. It absorbs after 15mins but it's still very greasy so I use it just over night and it works ok. I would very much prefer if I could add jojoba oil myself.

Turned my face orange

Pros:

Soothing
Moisturizing

Cons:

The yellow color

I loved everything about this moisturizer - it was cooling and calming on my skin on top of the BP, wasn't too greasy, easy to spread, and kept my skin moisturized - HOWEVER, the big downfall is the yellow coloring which turned my face orange. It wasn't even a tan look, I looked ORANGE. I'm quite fair (lighter than a MAC NC15 for reference) so having the look of an orange face against a very pale chest... that's not cute.

Pros:

Moisturizes
Inexpensive
Light

Cons:

Have to apply too much of it
Its color
Makes my face glow

I'm not sure what it is, but the moisturizer is great in all, in terms of hydrating my face, but it makes my face glow like crazy! It seems that it really never absorbs. It just sits on my face until I wash it off. It makes me not want to apply it anymore. It works to an extent, but the trade off is hardly worth it.
