Pros:

LIGHTENS leftover acne spots, Cheap, easy to use, effective, natural, i could go on and on...

Cons:

slight sting? barely noticeable

This has done wonders for evening out my skin tone and eliminating the pigmentation that often follows acne. My dermatologist pointed out that I had a lot more "leftover spots" than actual acne. I looked up natural ways to get rid of them, and lemon seems to do the trick. I've been using it for two weeks and it has made a significant difference. I can't say if it's helping with my current acne because I'm on medication for that, but it's definitely not causing any breakouts. It also smooths out my skin. It's a great natural (and CHEAP) treatment, there's no reason not to try it!

Pros:

cheap, worth a shot right?

Cons:

none yet

I just tried this tonight but I used natural bottled lemon juice. I don't have any acne maybe a pimple every so often but nothing serious at all. I'm using this method to try to fade post acne marks and scars. The only thing is a lot of people on here have said that they had a stinging sensation, I didn't have that what-so-ever, I'm guessing it's just becaause I have no existing acne in that spot? But anyways I'll keep you posted, and hopefully this does the trick =)!!

Pros:

helps get rid of acne

Cons:

sticky and stings for 2 seconds

I've had acne for 3 years and hasn't gone away. Then i read that lemon juice helps and i tried it. And it helped right away! I saw changes in just two days. All i did was buy lemon juice from Wal-mart and put it on a cotton ball and rub in on my face. It works great!!

Pros:

SOFTENING, HAS A NICE TINGLE, SMELLS GOOD, TASTES OKAY IF IT SHOULD GET IN YOUR MOUTH

Cons:

KIND OF STICKY, WILL IRRITATE THE EYES SEVERLY, LEMON PULP WILL GET IN THE HAIR IF YOURE NOT CAREFUL

I HAVE BEEN NOTICING A LITTLE ACNE DUE TO MY BIRTH CONTROL AND I HAVE HAD DARK SPOTS ON MY FACE FOR SOMETIME NOW. I HAVE BEEN USING THE JUICE FROM THE LEMON FOR ABOUT THREE DAYS NOW AND I THINK AM SEEING SOME CHANGES. MY SKIN IS APPEARING TO BECOME MORE EVEN TONED AND LIGHTER. THE LEMONS I JUST PICK OFF MY TREE. ANY REGIMEN IS WORK FOR ME BUT THEY SAY NO PAIN, NO GAIN SO I WILL CONTINUE TO USE IT. IF I DONT SEE DRASTIC CHANGES I AM GOING TO TRY THE OBAGI SYSTEM. I HAD A CONSULTATION AND ITS EXPENSIVE BUT THE BEFORE AND AFTER PIX SHE SHOWED ME WERE AMAZING. BUT I RECOMMEND LEMON JUICE FOR THOSE VERY MILD CASES. GOOD LUCK

Pros:

very cheap, organic, easy to use!

Cons:

stings a bit but surely that means its working!

i have tried all the lotions, potions and pills and finally after 10 years of having acne i have decided to go the organic route! im using oatmeal as a cleanser, oatmeal and honey mask and lemon juice in the mornings! its so easy and cheap!! just a cost of a lemon a week! i just squeeze lemon juice on a cotton wool pad and wipe it over my face and hold it on my spots. i leave it for 10 mins then i wash my face. i onky been using it for 2 days but im sure today they seem a bit clearer! i will write again in a months time but its worth a try!!

Pros:

I love it! Its fading my acne marks slowly and clearing my skin at the same time.

Cons:

Stings a little

I take lemon and squeeze it into a little spray bottle i got from walmart and then i spray that juice on my back and my face before bedtime and sometimes in the morning if im not going out. It works wonders! Just make sure not to go in the sunlight when using it.
