Pros:

cleared a few pimples and gave me a natural glow.

Cons:

stings a little at first and I haven't seen a catastrophic difference in my number of breakouts.

Try it, it does work but to what agree depends on your skin I suppose. my skin is SENSITIVE AND OILY so I'm glad I finally found something....I'll stick with it for now :P

Pros:

easy, natural, and above all, CHEAP!!

Cons:

shouldn't apply to whole face if you have dry, sensitive skin.

At first, I used a cotton ball to apply the lemon juice to the brown spots on my face, but noticed that the skin around the brown spots was also lightening slightly. So I switched to applying the juice with q-tips, careful just to apply directly to brown spots, and none of the surrounding clear skin. If your skin seems oily, it may be because it is actually dry, and producing more oil to hydrate itself. My skin used to be normal but I had a few spots occasionally so I tried Proactiv. That TOTALLY dried out my skin and made it really shiny, tight, and red. So I apply olive oil to my entire face before I go to bed, and it has made my face glow and not shiny anymore.. and rarely do people break out when they use olive oil on their skin.. it produces fast and lovely results!!

Pros:

Works great on "deep" blemishes, blackheads, whiteheads, and scars

Cons:

Stinging/itching for about 5 minutes after applying topically, but very much worth it.

I have tried EVERY treatment I could think of (ProActive, facials, OTC washes, etc etc) and nothing has worked like lemon juice. My Routine: 1. Wash face morning and night with a mild cleanser (I use Dr. Bronner's) 2. Squeeze a wedge of lemon into a small container; dip cotton ball into fresh juice and apply all over face. (Morning and night) 3. Wait 10-15 minutes and rinse. 4. I apply jojoba oil at night, but my skin is VERY oily and it is a bit much for daytime I have been doing this for about a week with AMAZING results. I had hard knots under my skin that I had been trying to get rid of for WEEKS and after one lemon juice treatment, most of them had risen to the surface! Most even popped on their own, and others only needed a gentle squeeze to make their way out. This has helped the overall tone of my skin as well as my daytime oiliness. Lemon does sting more on active blemishes. To me, the sting is well worth the results. After the first few treatments I noticed more bumps on my face, but I kept at it and they were to the surface and easily extracted within a few days. I feel like the lemon juice was drawing out zits I didn't even know I had below the surface. If you can tough out the sting, this is soooo worth it! P.S. The boyfriend had a huge cystic zit by his lip. He dabbed a little lemon juice only on the affected area and that sucker started draining on its own after 2 treatments! After a gentle squeeze, everything was out and the zit was completely deflated.

Cons:

stings and itches a bit. difficult to know how much to use since lemon jucie has no thickness to it feell like it is never enough on..

works wonders..apply at night and dont wash off until the morning...i works so well to the point where i want to tell everyone.. i also started taking internally incorporatiing lemons into my diet.look up all the benefits they have online u'll be shocked. i think this is a long term treatment havent use that long but usually i get a pimple once every 3-4 days since started using havent gotten one!! and my skin is startingto show major imporvement and even i little lighter..so i think this will work very quick im guessing in 2 months or so i will have skin like a baby

Pros:

My face cleared up a lot in just a couple of days.

Cons:

When you first put it on it stings a bit and then it itches for a couple seconds, but it's worth it.

Totally go for it. It's natural and cheap so why not.

Pros:

Softens and lightens skin. Almost instantly gets rid of whiteheads.

Cons:

Stings. Leaves coating on skin.

Works great. I just started using it yesterday and I already notice a huge difference. I do not use it by itself though. First I use a water and baking soda paste as an exfoliator and then I use the lemon juice as a toner. I love it.

Pros:

smells good, natural, WORKS BETTER then mederma, murad, or anything i've tried like it. cheap price,

Cons:

dries out skin a little but just use some good moisturizer. besides that I love it

Im 19 yrs old. I never had acne in high school but within the last year I started getting lots of acne on my chin and around the lower parts of my cheeks. It was making me really upset cause I have always been used to having glowing skin that i didn't need to cover up with make up so needless to say I have tried everything from proactiv, to using clean towel every time i dry my face, lots of other acne creams, masks, scrubs, cleansers. oil free everything etc. .... BUT NOTHING WORKS as well as lemons do. its amazing, something so simple, pure and cheap could fade redness so well and even prevent pimples from forming. I have been putting lemon juice on my face every night after washing it with a benzoyl peroxide wash, and I have yet to get another breakout in this past week and a half, and the red marks are fading fast, I LOVE IT! so oh oh oh good :)
