-So inexpensive

-You need to apply sunblock on your face if you don't want your skin to get darker spots caused by sun exposition

Lemon is not a definitive solution to acne. It is going to reduce it drastically and surely will work. It burns at first but, let's face it, there are a lot of other products for skin that burn and don't feel quite good, so this shouldn't be a matter thing. I have also noticed that it burns overall in face zones where your skin is oilier or acne tends to appear more often. Lemon is ideal when you think you have tried it out everything and nothing works on you. Thanks to this acid, your sebaceous follicles are dried so sebum is going to be produced much less. To use it, just squeeze a lemon and apply the juice with a cotton ball. First time is going to burn and itch but the next applications shouldn't feel this bad. Totally recommended

Pros:

Great Complexion
Skin is glowing
Dries out your skin in a good way
fades Scars
and shrinks pimples/dries them out
and makes you feel more confident!

Cons:

It stings at first, then it goes away.

I never thought something so simple and natural could actually work. I have been battling with acne since i can remember and tried BP for a while and clindamycin and it worked wonders for about year then stopped working. I was put on tetracycline and it did nothing for me. Just when i thought nothing could work I decided to cut a lemon up and rub it directly onto my face. I started noticing results THE DAY AFTER i was getting compliments on my skin also. I LOVE LEMONS!!! I recommend applying lemon directly onto your face for best results. TRY THIS YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!

Pros:

*inexpensive
*diminishes old acne scars
*works like an astringent

Cons:

*itches like crazy when applied (but only for a few minutes)

It has worked wonders for my face so far. I haven't been this comfortable with my skin in a long time! I use lemons ever other day at night time. To make it easier for those who want to try it, I recommend cutting a small section of the lemon and squeezing the juice into a cup, dip a cotton ball and apply to a clean face. Endure the itching for a few minutes and that's it! Fresh face in the morning!!! I also use BP when I don't do the lemon treatment (every other day). The BP treat the acne and the lemons treat the acne scarring. Will post again soon.

Pros:

It's all natural
It's easy to access
It's anti-aging
Has vitamins

Cons:

Takes time, since you have to leave it on and then wash it again.

Dose not improve your acne.

I highly recommend doing it at least once a week :-) It'll keep your skin young and fresh in the long run.

Pros:

Clears both acne and blackheads
Smells good
Shrinks pores
Leaves skin soft
cheap
quick

Cons:

itches like mad the first time you put it on
skin is a bit more sensitive to sunlight

Since I was eleven I have had acne. Moderate acne that wouldn't go away no matter what products I used (most actually irritated it more) or the products would work for a mere few months. For the last few years I have worked at a fast food restaurant which is murder on the skin. A few months back, my skin began to break out worse than ever before. So in desperation I searched through the internet for a home remedy as a last resort. Really, it should have been my first resort. My face which was red in many places from acne scars is its proper colouration again and glowing. There are no more large boils under my skin. My blackheads have not improved that much, but I attribute that to my workplace. (I took a week off to study and all of a sudden they were almost completely gone. Came back when I went back to work) It works very well when you use hot soapy water on your face beforehand. Just a warning though. Don't put just straight lemon juice on your face. It is not good for it. You have to remember that this is also a very strong acid. It must be diluted with water first before you put it on your face. The way that I did it was just to soak a cotton ball with water first before I put a few drops of lemon juice on it You will start to see improvement with in about two to three days. This university student is happy for the cheapness as well compared to the old acne products she used to buy!

Pros:

- Seriously works to reduce acne and scars
- Lowers oil production
- Drastically lowers chance of breakouts
- Feels clean and gives skin a natural glow
- Reduces redness and inflammation of acne.

Cons:

Itches and burns a little but nothing compared to chemical cleansers.

I had acne for so long, I tried a lot of things for it and nothing seemed to work. I came across lemon juice and it worked from the first week! My skin feels so soft, and has a glow. I now only have mild oily skin compared to the damp, thick and dirty oil I previously had before I found out about lemon juice. I've heard that it burns peoples faces and leaves redness so they stop applying it. If this happens to you, you can delude it with a little water and you should be fine. Bottom line, It seriously works even though it sounds stupid.
