Pros:

Lighting skin
fade spot marks
reduce spots
shrinks pores
reduce blackheads

Cons:

Stings a lot, especially if you have sensitive skin

It made my skin really light and faded some of my old spot scars =) made my pores smaller and my face was less oily. Dilute if you have sensitive skin and always remember to use an oil free moisturiser as it can be too drying. I urge you to get it a try!

prevents breakouts
inexpensive
natural
removes redness

Cons:

itches
stings

my chin and cheeks were covered in scars, had red patches, and kept getting new break outs for months. I tried several different products and nothing seemed to work.I apply lemon juice with a cotton ball on my face and sleep with it on. Ive been doing this for about a week and my skin looks so much better. My skin hasnt looked this good in months.

Pros:

Actually works
Cheaper than a facewash
Smells nice

Cons:

Stings a little when applied
Stings more after shaving/with open cuts

Brilliant, I was sceptical at a simple lemon being able to tame my acne but it worked! I just cut the lemon into slices and squeeze it onto my face and rub it in, brush my teeth to ignore the stinging which isn't that bad, then wash it off with water simple! I found to use it each night a lemon will last 3-4 days and it really worked for me!

Pros:

Very inexpensive.

Smells good and leaves my skin feeling very soft.

Cons:

Stings a little bit, but not very much.

Didnt quite have the effect on me that alot of people on here said it had on them. I am also on minocyclin acne pills and an acne gel and I was using the lemon when i washed my face but I didnt see a change.

I tried this for about three weeks and saw no change in my skin so I quit. Although it was a bit softer I didnt feel that it cleared up my acne like I was hoping. Maybe I will try it again in the future for a longer period of time and see if that helps.

Pros:

-cheap
-doesn't dry out skin
-fades scars
-less oil
-kills acne
-natural!!!!

Cons:

-stings a little bit

bottom line, it works. Better then all of that store brand name crap to. No hurt in trying it, it will only cost you a dollar. Only thing annoying about it is the lady at the grocery store asking what I'm planning to do with 5 lemons.

Pros:

lightens complexion
reduces redness and scars
natural
easy to use
doesn't dry out skin
WORKS FAST

Cons:

stings and itches a bit, but not too bad

It really really works! And it does not make your acne worse before it gets better like so many other products do. After washing my face with gentle soap I just take a lemon slice and lightly rub it all over my face and let it dry. It does sting a bit, but it goes away in about 30 seconds, and then i wash it off after a while and apply a good moisturizer. It fades scars quickly, and if there's a pimple coming, it seems to nip it in the bud and reduces redness. Plus, it is cheap and natural, it feels good to know what you're putting on your face! I also have freckles which I don't mind, but it lightened them too, and now my skin is starting to look brighter and smoother every day. p.s. i would still be careful at first, because it might irritate sensitive skin, and everyone reacts differently, i hope it helps others like it helped me

- Lightens scarring
- Glowing skin!!

Cons:

- Itches and/or burns for the first few weeks

I have had pretty bad acne for a few years now, lowering my self esteem. I didn't want to look in the mirror, looking at my acne would put me in a bad mood. Yes, I tried all the commercial acne cleansers like Clearasil and all those. They don't work, they companies just want money, they don't care about your acne. My friend told me about the lemon treatment, which of course was natural. I put some lemon juice on a cotton ball and applied it on my face after I showered. It itched a lot, but it's nothing to cry over. When I awoke the next morning, My face was so much softer and less oily then it had been in years. I couldn't believe it. I looked in the mirror and my acne hadn't changed much, but the dark red acne scars were already fading. I repeated the process for about 2 weeks, and I began to see major differences in the actual acne. My whole face was smooth, with the exception of a few little whiteheads. Now after months of use, I hardly have acne, I still do breakout sometimes, but it's so much better than before. I have written a lot because I'm just excited and happy with life right now. I don't have acne any more, and when I do breakout. it seems the lemon juice kills the pimples and heals the scarring in less than 3 days and then I'm clear for a while. Seriously try it.

Pros:

- Cheap,
- Easy to use,
- IT WORKS,
- Fades scars,
- Helps you treat your pimples quickly.

Cons:

- Stings a little
- Can be itchy sometimes

To be honest I used to have horrible big pimples on my face and used to pop them as well which sounds unpleasant I know. Then I decided to try out some of the acne products that had benzoyl peroxide(BP), i used panoxyl treatment cream with 10% BP and face wash with 10% BP.. they worked for like a month then my acne just got worse as soon i stopped using it. So I looked for home remedies that had no side effects and after researching for couple of hours i saw that loads of people were recommending to drink lemon juice or apply it on the face. I've been using it now for about a month and half and must say the result is just spectacular. my skin was alot bumpy but now its almost not bumpy at all. I'm very impressed with this home remedy. Its not a 24 hour solution if you have big pimples its all about just being patient. I'll continue to use this for couple of months and hopefully my skin will be fully clear. I'll write a review again in couple of months time :) Conclusion/Bottom Line: Who needs all the acne treatment crap when you have lemons! :)
