Pros:

I've only used it once for a couple of days, found the discoloration (acne "scars") to be lighter and my skin to be alot glowy and soft. And lemons just smell goood! =)

Cons:

ITCHES! STINGS! BURNS! like a MF'er hahaha

All the Cons are worth it though if you are consistent, and careful with how you use the lemons. I'm thinking about buying maybe a pound of them when I get my paycheck on Thursday, and start the regimen again. If you are looking for a natural way to lighten and brighten those stubborn acne "scars", you should definitely try the lemons! Make sure to use sunscreen, SPF is your friend, sepecially when it comes to those terrible skin discolorations. ( SPF 30 or higher.) For pitted "icepick" acne scars, however, I would recommend Camellia Oil (must be 100% Pure). It takes awhile, depending on the severity of the scars, so, it is not a miracle oil. If you would like to know where to get such oil, email me at wannabkes@[link removed] with the subject 'where to find camellia oil.' I like to help people with their troubles especially with skin care =) I wish everyone the best of luck with their skin care! And if you do have any questions at all, feel free to email me =) thank you!

Pros:

The Lemon juice leaves my skin clearer overnight, lightening also freckles and any blemishes and marks that I have.

Cons:

Stings a lot for a while (but worth it/just put up with it! xD its no worse than aftershave xDDD).

Really awesome idea, spent loads and loads on all of the different brand named products, going from one to another after realising each one didnt work. I also would like to recomment using Avocado's as a face mask, just buy one, cut it open, scoop the soft middle bit with a spoon, then blend it into a paste, then apply. then add lemon to skin afterwards.

Pros:

It smoothes, brightens, tightens and clears your face. Acne scars are left minimal or not visible and pores are noticeably reduced. It also removes excess oil on the face and works as a toner as well!

Cons:

It itches for the first 30 seconds, stings for about 1-3 mins (depending on the person and their tolerance to pain, and how much is applieed) and leaves the face feeling tight (this may be seen as a pro aswell) stings on fresh spots and eye area.

I gave it a 4 because it stings and does not clear all spots At night, I use my face wash scrub etc. and then instead of using my toner I apply half a lemon to my face. I do so by cutting a whole lemon in half, and gently rubbing the lemon all over my face (even in the non-affected areas) and squeezing when I run out of juice. If i do use my toner it will only be to remove any extra dirt my cleanser and scrub may have missed but I rely on the lemon to do my toners previous job of tightening my face, reducing pore size etc. In the morning I wake up and wash my face with my facewash (this process also helps remove the lemon juice as well as the nights dirt) and then I tone and moisturize. If I am planning on staying in that day or am not going out till later on then I will once again repeat the lemon juice application. I apply the lemon juice whenever possible i.e. straight after school, after any sports or activities, if i've been in the garden etc be persistent to

Pros:

Refreshing on skin, fades blemishes, gives you a glow, tightens pores, reduce pimple swelling

Cons:

burns on popped, fresh pimples

Here's what I do: 1. At night, I make a baking soda mask, leave on for 20 minutes, Wash face. 2. Use Q-tip to apply fresh lemon juice 3. Wait til dry 4. Use Aloe Vera as a moisturizer When you wake up, face should be smoother and pores are tightened. In the morning, I wash my face with mild soap (instead of baking soda mask) followed by step 2,3,4(Sensitive skin, Dont use in the moring) .I also substitute baking soda mask with aspirin mask w/ water once a week.Baking soda removes dirt by lifting them. Lemon helps with blemishes and scars, and tightens pores, Aloe Vera quickly heals fresh pimples preventing scars as well as prevent new pimples. Aspirin helps the swelling of pimples. This works well, my scars are fading. Youl should notice results within 2 days and gets better overtime. No new pimples. Make sure you don't touch face with dirty hands (will cause you to break out more) TRY! IT WORKS

Pros:

It works!!! I've been using lemons to treat my acne scars for about 2 weeks now and I'm seeing results! I use it at night only though.

Cons:

Aside from the stinging and itching, there's no cons. It will take time before you start seeing results.

Remember to be consistent!! That is key! It won't work over night like some people claim but in 2 weeks or so, you'll see a difference in your skin. I'll be more tone, even out and your scars will be less noticeable. Use a vitamin e type lotion/moisterizer too. I started breaking out real bad 2 years ago and I get really bad nodule cystic acne on my chin (PAINFUL!) and it leaves an ugly scar. Plus, I have bad scarring on my neck!!! The scars on my cheeks and chin are fading faster but its taking more time in the neck area. So I use a baking soda exfoliating mixture in the neck area followed by the lemon mixture. Its working!!!
