Pros:

Works quickly to lighten and brighten your skin, and help fade the spots! You will notice results within two short weeks.

Cons:

NONE!

Make sure that you are consistent and use it every night and if you can use it every day as well. The more it is used the quicker you will see results! And you do not have to rinse it off your face, you can simply wear it under your moisturizer and also under your makeup if you are a girl that is.

Pros:

Smells nice
Works!
Super cheap

Cons:

Itchy a little the first time
Can sting
To much can dry out my face.

I love this! After only two times doing this I see a differnce. My skin looks so much nicer and way more even in tone. What I've done it put the juice on a cotton ball, put all over my face and my shoulders where I also get some bumps and left it on for about 10min. Then I washed it off with a cool washcloth. Then I used honey on my face as a mask. Kind of a dripy mess, but it works! Just keep ur face over a bowl lol. Then I washed off the honey in the shower. The redness I had on my face and my shoulders is gone! Just be sure to but some mostioure back in your face after the lemon if you can't do the honey mask right away. I'm so glad I found this site I'd never heard of this before!

Pros:

faster results
Doesnt sting

Cons:

non so far

I found that using the actual pulp from the lemon works way faster then using the lemon juice alone. I allow the pulp to sit on my scar for about 10mins. then i wash it off before i go to bed. I see the scar is getting lighter and lighter every time i do this!! i'll update my results in some weeks or so =)

Pros:

Effective if you stay with it. Cheap.

Cons:

Stings a bit and can leave your skin a bit sticky. A bit of talc helps with that.

I use it all over my body. Remarkable results.

YES! USE LEMON!
I've had had acne for 2+ years now, and I've tried everything! I'm African American and brown skinned. I've used everything from black soap, to proactive, and I will say that lemon has been the most effective. I've used lemon once and I noticed a big difference in my acne and scars within one week. I plan to continue to use my facial scrub, and will use lemon atleast twice or 3 times a week!

I found this treatment through Pinterest! I'm trying to eliminate all of my eczema scars, but Pinterest said to apply juice for some minutes(didn't specify, so I did 5 minutes) and wash it off, I see everyone else has been doing this process overnight? Which routine is best for results?

Pros:

-Cheap
-Effective
-Nice smell

Cons:

-Bleaching effect on clothes

I have only been using lemon on my body acne for a few days, but already in less than a week I can definitely see a change. I have had a small patch of a half dozen red bumps on my middle chest for years now, and after applying lemon juice from fresh lemons, once in the morning and once before bed, the redness has reduced a lot, and the bumps have gotten much smaller. The same can be said for my annoying shoulder acne. It's been a problem for many years, and just after this short time, a lot of it has started clearing, or at least reduced in size and redness. I would imagine with further use, it will only get better. I have also used it on my face with pretty good results, but my face is mostly clear from the regimen, so it's not really needed. When used on my face, I still use the regimen, and still use a lot of AHA for moisturizing. When used on the body, I use no moisturizer and it seems to still do fine without making my skill flaky. I'm guessing the natural citrus oils might help with that. Overall, it's for sure worth a try to others with moderate acne. I gave it a 5/5 simply because it's such a cheap product, and if they don't get used for this, you can make lemonade.

Pros:

All Natural
Smells Delicious
Improves Skin Tone
Fades Red Marks

Cons:

Mild Burning/Itching

Here's my routine: I rinse of any make-up with water. I don't wash my face before hand because I prefer to wash it after. I use FRESH lemons. This is important. I tried it with bottled lemon juice and it was no where near as effective. Anyway, I soak up some lemon juice with a cotton ball and apply to my face and let dry for about 15 minutes. You'll have a little itching/ burning (especially if you have unhealed spots) but it's bearable. After 15-ish minutes I repeat the process and let it dry. Sometimes I follow this with a lemon juice and sugar scrub, but that may be too harsh for some people. If I don't use the scrub I simply wash this off with whatever cleanser and follow with my night time skin care routine. I've found that by eliminating most acne medicated products from my routine and going more natural that my skin is behaving much better. My red spots are dramatically faded the morning after following this routine. Hope this helps!

Pros:

-Really clears cystic scars!
-Cheap

Cons:

-If you use an actual lemon and not the separately contained juice, then you get a bunch of the lemon things(lol?) on your face.

-Didn't notice a difference in the amount of breakouts(though I wasn't using it for this anyways).

I had this bad patch of cystic scars that were so red it looked like active pimples, tried this and literally within a week it was a noticeable difference. It doesn't completely remove it but it does considerably fade it. I always do it at night, usually every other day or something but I don't have a set schedule, here's how I do it: -Wash my face with a cleanser -Wait 5 min for the cleanser to dry -Gently let the lemon glide across my face, if it's a middle piece then I use one side for one half of my face and the other side of the lemon for the other half of my face. If I have two side pieces left then I'll just use both and do the same as above. -Let it dry for 10-20min -Wash it off with warm water -Wait about 5 min -Apply a lotion

Pros:

Cheap and natural
readily available
smells really good
faded scars and brown spots
feels refreshing on warm days
existing acne does not itch late in the day

Cons:

burns and stings if you have existing sores or dry skin.

LOVE IT! After a week of rubbing a lemon slice on my face after washing it in the morning, my brown age spots have faded dramatically, my acne scarring is fading and my skin feels smooth and soft. Amazing results. I have fought acne since age 14 and I am 51. Lots of money spent on other remedies and nothing worked well or consistently. I use a scrub 2-3 times a week (not too often) and a peeling mask once a week - and this week the results were impressive. I can actually go without makeup and not feel so self-conscious now. Highly recommend - use fresh lemon, keep the peel on the slice, I think there is something in the peel that assists the juice. I don't use a cotton ball - just the lemon slice. I let is sit on my face and chest for 15 minutes and rinse off with cool water. Have great results. I don't think sleeping without rinsing would work for me - I think it might be sticky and attract more debris, dirt, or bacteria. Why didn't my doctor ever suggest this idea?????? Grrrrrr. *get a good moisturizer to apply - otherwise your skin may get too dry. I use a cream moisturizer from Victoria Principal. Works nicely.
