Pros:

*Great results within a week or so, depending on your acne.
* Removes acne marks with discoloration of skin.
*Stops new spots from forming.

Cons:

*Stings a little but you get use to it after a few goes.
*Makes the skin a little rough but that can be cured with olive oil.

This is the best thing i have ever done for my face, serially people if you have acne, put a small amount of fresh lemon juice on your face before going to sleep, its the best thing you will ever do. If you develop rough skin then use olive oil in conjunction with lemon juice.

the most easiest and convenient method for getting rid of acne scars and pigmentation...just takes a while but works wonderfully! I have been using it for like all my life, its better than any other expensive products and its natural , so no side effects!

Pros:

I have been using this for about a week. I should say that I've had moderate acne my entire life and was previously on prescriptions from the dermatologist, tried expensive brands like Clinique, Dermalogica and also drug store brands. Nothing could clear my acne completely, I always had a few new breakouts and old acne scares. This cleared my skin of all breakouts within two days and my old scars (purplish) are beginning to fade. All this after one week, I'm clear for the first time in my life

Cons:

None for me...may sting if you have sensitive skin, but after all the treatments and prescription creams I've used my skin is pretty tough.

Use it! You won't be sorry, hands down the best treatment I've ever tried with the quickest, most visible results. Not to mention cheap...

Pros:

Fades red marks
Gets rid of pimples
Overall massive improvemenet in face

Cons:

Stings the first couple times
Can irritate skin
Makes you really pale

What I did was I squeezed a quarter lemon right onto my face then used a cotton pad to make sure my whole face was covered in the lemon juice. I did this in the morning and at night after washing my face. Within 3 days almost all of my red marks and pimples had vanished. However, I stopped this because it had made me way too pale and within a week my acne had come back just as bad. Then i immediately began using the lemon juice again and once again my acne cleared up. This is truly no coincidence, it really works. Except the second time it took closer to a week rather than 3 days. If yoou have open cuts or popped pimples this will sting a lot but you will find that this cleans out the pore, keeps the pimple from coming back and allows it to heal faster since it contains plenty of vitamin C. Do not use right before going out into the sun as this will irritate the skin, make it really red and dry your skin out badly. Also, try not to get carried away with it. It can be tempting to use this more than twice a day but your skin may not be able to handle this and it will make things worse.

Pros:

Reduces acne inflammation
Reduces blackhead visibility
Sloughs off dead skin/dry skin
Smooths skin texture

Cons:

Stings

An inexpensive alternative to other products with AHA properties. Rejuvenates the skin by removing dead skin cells and promotes new skin growth. Ideally, it's best to use fresh lemon over the bottled lemon juice because the bottled form is made from concentration which is not as fresh, duh! After cleansing, smear a small slice of lemon on the face (avoid eye area). You will feel a slight burning sensation but don't be alarmed. Those with sensitive skin can squeeze the slice and dilute with water for a less acidic effect. Rinse off after 15-20 minutes and moisturize. Don't do this for more than twice a week or your skin will be hypersensitive to the sun. I let it dry and put on moisturizer on top of it, and leave it as is overnight. Then, washing my face as usual the next morning. But, I only do this once every week. Leaving it on overnight very often can irritate the skin. Or squeeze a slice and use a Q-tip to apply it on the acne scar undiluted. Do this twice a day and you will see an improvement on the acne scar. I'm not sure if it would work for acne scars that have been present for longer than 2 months, but you can try.

Pros:

Reduces redness
Dries pimples
Does work.

Cons:

Leaves skin somewhat dry (can easily be fixed by an oil free moisturizer)
Itches a little bit on contact

At first I was skeptical about putting pure lemon juice one my face but I decided to try it anyways. For the first few days I didn't really notice any difference but on the 5th or 6th day the redness really started to go down. I don't have many pimples, but I have lots of post-acne red spots. I use just cetaphil cleanser for all skin types, gently, and then apply lemon juice at night, and then a thin layer of retina-a (prescribed by doctor). In the morning my skin feels and looks great and is very soft. I've noticed a dramatic change in the clarity of my skin and strongly recommend this to anyone.

Pros:

Works Great!
Is extremely cheap
Relatively fast

Cons:

Don't use if you have any open wounds/cuts on your face or you'll be in so much pain.

It's great, if you use it daily with a cotton bud you'll get results, it is great at reducing redness and can even reduce the appearance of scars. It really helped me get rid of most of my acne!

Pros:

Smells nice
Works!
Super cheap

Cons:

Itchy a little the first time
Can sting
To much can dry out my face.

I love this! After only two times doing this I see a differnce. My skin looks so much nicer and way more even in tone. What I've done it put the juice on a cotton ball, put all over my face and my shoulders where I also get some bumps and left it on for about 10min. Then I washed it off with a cool washcloth. Then I used honey on my face as a mask. Kind of a dripy mess, but it works! Just keep ur face over a bowl lol. Then I washed off the honey in the shower. The redness I had on my face and my shoulders is gone! Just be sure to but some mostioure back in your face after the lemon if you can't do the honey mask right away. I'm so glad I found this site I'd never heard of this before!
