How long was the initial purge?

Pros:

Softens and moisturizes skin without clogging pores, helps to clear skin

Cons:

Very oily residue and can only be used at night

I really like this stuff. I don't think that it can be used alone to cure acne, but when it is used with the regimen it is very effective.

Pros:

My skin is glowing and pores are less visible.... my red acne scars also appear to be fading :)

Cons:

oily residue

Love this as my nightime moisturiser and for day time i simply mix jojoba with sunscreen and that works for day time! I really love this stuff.... my routine is cleanse with mario badescu enzyme cleansing gel, tone with Dickinsons witch hazel and then apply a few drops of jojoba as my moisturiser! I also apply Tea tree oil as a tobical treatment around my t-zone. my skin is looking really nice.

Pros:

Controls oil, moisturizes skin beautifully, is a great carrier for essential oils

Cons:

It's not exactly cheap (even though it's still much cheaper than many acne or anti-aging products), and it leaves you oily

I use more of this at a time than the other reviewers seem to. In a bottle of jojoba, I mix in a few drops each of tea tree, lavender and bergamot essential oils and apply the mixture to my face. The combination has what used to be very severe acne under control. I still get pimples, but they're very sporadic and NOTHING like they used to be. And now that I'm getting older, I've probably tried every single anti-aging product on the market. Every time I try a new potion, I end up chucking it and going back to my jojoba...nothing moisturizes as well. I tend to use this product at night -- I use enough to maximize the efficacy of the essential oils, and that makes me look, well, oily. But that's fine; I put it on an hour or two before bed, spend some time massaging it in (which increases bloodflow to the skin, also good for acne), and then blot the remaining oil off before bed so my pillow doesn't get disgusting.

I have moved around my whole life so my skin and hair has been in so many different climates that finding the right product for hair and skin really changed dramatically with every place I moved. No matter what I would always break out. My acne progressed as I got older and eventually I was battling an extreme case of cystic acne. I was so depressed because I tried everything and spent hundreds of dollars trying to get my face back to normal. I was a poor college student at the time so money was a huge issue and I was spending it all on products for my face with out any results. Anyway long way short I started using jojoba oil on my face through the recommendation of a pharmacist. I haven't had any acne for over a year now. I use it straight, two drops (I always wash my hands before) at night and sometimes in the morning. When I travel to humid places I use it once every other day, and still works. Seems strange that an oil would clear acne but it has. Give it a try.

Pros:

Smooth skin, no smell, feels good, inexpensive, helps cysts, pimples, back acne, helps skin clarity, moistrizies great

Cons:

When I use it at night after Retin-A it my skin still flakes.

Definitely worth the price, I wish I would've know about this sooner, I haven't had any adverse reactions, however, I just started to use the product. I mix it in the morning with my Oil of Olay lotion and at night I just use a few drops directly on my face. The first night I used it I could feel the difference, in the morning I could SEE the difference. My skin definitely looked less red and when I put in under my makeup it wasn't all shiny and oily. So far I am on day 3 and my skin is great! I recommend to anyone, I have suffered with acne for years, and have tried everything, this really works! For me anyways.

Pros:

natural, soothing, moisturizing, doesn't clog pores, versatile

Cons:

depending on the brand you have it can be annoying to get out of the bottle. i transferred some of mine into an eye dropper bottle and it's much easier to use. slow absorbing

I put two drops in with my moisturizer and it's like magic. It's not a treatment for acne, but it's awesome. I also put it in the bath, use it with my hair conditioner, etc. It's a wonder-product via nature. I love it.

Pros:

Only a few drops needed per night, a small inexpensive bottle lasts a long time, no smell

Cons:

Makes my face a bit more oily in the morning since it doesn't absorb too well

Helped get rid of some stubborn blackheads

Pros:

it has totally cleared up my pimples, and my blackheads are disappearing too! feels great on my skin, moisturises well without making it feel or look oily.

Cons:

none! best thing I have ever used on my face. Considering otherwise I'd spend more money on a pot of day and night cream at bodyshop, this is really worth it as it's an all-in-one completely natural product and one bottle will last for a long time.

I'm so happy I've discovered this. I have combination skin- oily forehead/nose and dry around my jaw area/cheeks, and also depends on time of month, but this seems to even it out. Pimples are gone and the fine lines on my forehead also look less noticeable because my face is better moisturised. Blackheads are going away too, and scabs from old pimples have healed amazingly fast. I've got rid of all my other moisturisers and this is all I use on my face. I put on a few drops when my face is still moist from the shower or from washing it (I use a no-soap facewash gel, or just water). It feels oily (of course) when I put it on, but I don't dry or blot my face afterwards, just leave it to dry by itself and the oil is absorbed by my skin. It doesn't look oily at all afterwards, unless I go crazy with the amount I put on (I use slightly more at night). I think it actually gives me a healthy glow! It's really worth trying, I wouldn't be writing this review if I wasn't really impressed!!
