Pros:

cleans up acne and brightens your face
can also be used as mouth wash for a whiter smile

Cons:

makes your hair a little orange so stay away from your hairline

It actually worked. Ive tried neutrogena, proactive, clean and clear and several other products and this is the only one that has actually cleared out my skin without just so much as drying it like other things.

Pros:

- Cleans out pores quickly, removes redness, stops pimples (which are just starting)

Cons:

Stings a while, dries out the skin

Gently pop the pimple and apply a small amount of the peroxide. You can actually see it bubbling on the surface the pimple. The bubbling is a reaction between the peroxide and something in your blood. Removed / stopped three nasty pimples which were forming on my chin area. It does however leave a small scab which drops off after a couple of days. Don't use this as your primary anti-acne substance. I would suggest this as an infrequent desperate measure liquid.

Works good for cystic acne as well
I'm a teen and normaly have mild face acne but bad acne on my back and chest. Te other day I woke up with a horrid cyst on my chin a baby cyst right beneath my lip and a small cyst on my forehead. I was desperate to get rid of it and used hydrogen peroxide. It worked really well after only a day the big cyst has cleared almost all the way just flat and red now, the one in my lip has drastically gone down and the small one on my forehead has also shrunk. I wash my face with beauty counters daily cleanser and use a scar and fixing treatment on my face, then I apply the peroxide to a cotton ball and leave it on the zit for 1-2 minutes. I reapplied the hp throughout the day probably 3x totals. It does sting when it first goes on, but the sting and red go down fast. Everytime it would crust white after a few goes I would squeeze the cyst and get out all the gunk

Pros:

very cost effective
works immediately
reduces redness

Cons:

drying on the areas you apply it too

I have been struggling with acne all my life but for some reason as an adult (I am currently 36) it has come on with a vengence. It has truly affected my life and I am so tired of dealing with it. I have tried everything BC pills, prescriptions, expensive topicals, miracle spot eliminators etc and have spent a fortune trying to clear this mess. I tried this a few weeks ago as I read the other reviews on here about it and for the first time something actually worked to start drying up the acne.

Pros:

this stuff is amazing, I am a 39 year old female who still gets pimples I am sorry I did not use this earlier in my life

Cons:

at this stage I dont mind any cons I have nothing to loose

Dab on the pimples and see the redness disappear. I have now encouraged my teenage son to use it on his face when he has a breakout

Pros:

IT WORKS, it's cheap

Cons:

none?

Okay, I've been using this for WEEKS. I thought of using it thanks to this site and reading almost all of the reviews. When I first bought it I used it as a toner and put it on a cotton pad. It did close to nothing. I finally started dipping q-tips in the bottle and spot treating my acne. (I have mostly whiteheads and the big red cystic zits) I saw it helped a little. I then remembered someone saying they hold a HP dipped qtip on their zits for ten seconds. I tried this. Worked like a dream. My acne is seriously under control now. Also, I bought a small bottle at CVS and it doesn't smell... just sayin'.....

GOOD
idk if it's the hydgrogen peroxide helping my insanely huge pimples but everytime i put it on a pimple it either shrinks it or brings it to a head faster. worth it to try. some people say it's dangerous but then again everything you're trying to put on ur face is dangerous one way or another. just try a 3% hydrogen peroxide. use it only in spot treating, not for the whole face

Works great! But...

Pros:

reduces pimple size quickly
super cheap
doesn't irritate skin

Cons:

not a long term cure

After experiencing a really bad breakout last year, all over my cheeks and temples (still working on clearing it all up, scars mostly) I was searching relentlessly for something to clear it up. I was trying stuff specifically for acne, like Proactiv and what not, most of which didn't work. Getting fed up, I asked my mom what she thought I should do and she said "why not try hydrogen peroxide?" I thought it was a long shot but I tried it, and to my surprise it worked really well!! However, I found that the more often I used it, it was almost like I was using it so much I was becoming immune and it wasn't working as well as it did initially. So for short term and for a few pimples here and there, it's a quick and easy fix, but it won't clear up your skin completely. At least from my experience. I still use it from time to time for new breakouts and it works. For long term results, I'm focusing on slightly changing my diet.

Pros:

Work quickly, extremely cheap.

Cons:

Dries skin

For a couple weeks I tried just wiping it on with a cotton ball like a toner and it didn't do anything at all. Then I tried holding a cotton pad soaked in it against my zits for a few minutes. That's what works for me. I rarely cover my whole face with it anymore. Now I just hold it against broken out areas. I've never noticed it having any smell.
