Cystic Acne
I've had cystic acne for years now. I've tried many things and I have yet to be majorly impressed with any spot treatment I try. I've tried tea tree oil (which does work nicely sometimes but it depends where my breakout is), lemon juice, BP, multiple all natural face masks, honey, rice water, and the list goes on and on. The only things I've tried that I truely love are chemical peels and regular exfoliation. I've given hydrogen peroxide a try a few times. I think generally it does work alright for a spot treatment, but I will never use it as an actual face wash. As desperate as I am to finally have pain free skin, I still want to protect my skin so it can look nice when, or if, I ever do get clear skin. Usually after applying it, I can feel a slight itchyness. My doctor says when cystic acne itches it's a sign of healing and I do notice it feels a little more calm afterwards. Cystic acne is hard to treat from the outside, but I think hydrogen peroxide can penetrate the skin more easily than bp and other common acne treatments but that's just in my experience and I can't speak for people with regular acne using hp.

How much time did you leave it on?

Trying going gluten and soy free for a month. That stopped my painful cystic acne on jawline and cheeks.

It has it's uses...
If you have already popped a pimple, this will likely cause it to scab and scar. I use it to bleach my dark spots on days when I will be home all day, because it does leave my face a little blotchy for a few hours after I use it. Nonetheless, it kills bacteria, lightens and bleaches, and will dry up your acne. I just think there are better products to use. NOTE: This stuff can be strong. Diluting it is a good idea if you're putting it all over your face.

DONT use it on your face
do not use this on your face. it breaks down your skin! but i do recommend that you use it on your teeth. Not only does it kill germs & bad breath, but I regularly get compliments on my nice white teeth.

It breaks down your teeth and bone the same way it breaks down your skin. We recommend if you use hydrogen peroxide in your mouth to dilute it with the same amount of water and don't do it more than once a week. You may suffer bone loss and weaker teeth which can cause severe sensitivity.

I'm giving it a try
I used this for the first time tonight, and right away my face turned bright red! Idk if it's a reaction or just temporary. But my blackheads and pimples seem to be going away pretty fast n this last hour. I just hope the redness goes away!

Use with caution
Although it works well just be careful as it can cause health problems later in life. It releases free radicals in the body which can cause harm and is associated with many neurological disorders.

Pros:

Dries up pimples.
Helps with healing process.
Non irritating.
Cheap & available.

Cons:

Definitely not a long term product.
Can be over drying.
Really doesn't help with deep cystic acne.
Doesn't help with fading scars or hyperpigmentation.

Everyone's skin is different I have combination skin and I get whiteheads and cystic acne. This really didn't help me it dried up some pimples but if you're looking for a cure or a long term type of product then I suggest keep looking.

Pros:

Helps initially.
Kills bacteria.
Reduces oil.

Cons:

Not good for your skin in the long term.
Quite harsh.
Makes redness worse.

After dealing with acne for like 7 years I'm desperate and will try anything, so when my mom said to try it I did. I used this all over my face for a couple weeks and it cleared my skin a lot within the first week but after that it was no longer amazing. The bottom line is that it is probably good for spot treating stubborn pimples occasionally but it's not magic or anything unfortunately, and there are definitely way better things out there for your skin.

Pros:

clears your skin

Cons:

dries skin

Before I go to bed I wipe my face with rubbing alcohol, rinse my face, then hydrogen peroxide. It clears my skin mostly, leaves some break outs. But for the most part it works better than any other acne treatments I've tried.

Pros:

cheap

Cons:

stings a bit

just started using it, no full results yet. also using proactiv (week 2 now) and seeing results with that. cheap though only 3% HP. feels drying so buy a non comodegenic moisturiser, im using vaseline dry skin. dont be alarmed if directly applied and skin turns pale, this is temporary. i got scared and thought it bleached my skin so i was hesitant. i begun mxing small amounts in moisturiser and applying it. its less harsh and hydrating at the same time. give it a try, cant hurt and just might work :)

Pros:

Price, Easy to use, Dries up pimples fast

Cons:

Hard to travel with, WILL BLEACH YOUR EYEBROWS AND HAIR LINE!!

I've been using HP for about a week... At first it worked really fast and my face seemed much clearer. I think I over used this, so please use this only when needed. I was using this a few times a day which I think is way too much. I have a tendency of over doing it when I find something that works. I am also doing the Baking Soda face scub too...It seems to be helping quite a bit. Hydrogen Peroxide will absolutly lighten your eyebrows and hair line so be extra careful. Don't freak out when it bubbles up on your face...It's only doing what its supposed to. DO NOT PICK AT YOU FACE!!! Major problem I have...always have to pick my face. Now I am paying the price so please if you do this STOP!! I know it's hard but stop it immediately!! Luckly I don't have scars but I got lucky with as much as I mess with my face. Good Luck!! :)
