Pros:

Exfoliates, Doesn't dry out, skin is radiant and soft.

Cons:

Sticky and uncomfortable.

I use a homemade mask with honey, sugar, and whole milk. I slather it on my face and leave it there for 5 minutes. Then, as I wash it off,I use the sugar grains from the mask as an exfoliant and gently exfoliate my skin. After it's washed off completely, I apply toner and a moisturizer and SPF. My skin felt radiant, soft, and my blemishes disappeared within a week. No wonder Cleopatra used it!

Part of my nightly routine
This helped keep some of my acne at bay (though nowhere near to fixing it) and is now part of my nightly routine. Highly recommended for softer skin.

good for a while, but backfired on me
At first mixing honey and cinnamon in a 2:1 ratio worked wonders on my skin and for the first time in a long while i had clearer and brighter skin Unfortunately around my third time using it i began to notice small white bumps forming on my forehead. these bumps are difficult to get rid of (i think theyre seriously clogged pores but i may be wrong) i have since switched to apple cidar vinegar :(

Amazing! Great for sensitive/dry skin
Started using about a week ago. Makes my skin feel clean but doesn't over dry it like almost every skin cleanser does to my sensitive skin. Also very cheap!

HONEEDYOU
honey is great.....why not use honey with a cup of warm tea choose a tea that's caffeine free and let it work from the inside honey is good for the body and i'm sure whatever shows up on your face is due to toxin within your body and also if i wanted thing's to work productively i would not EAT every time i feel i need to... my body needs to repair itself if i keep over doing things my internal organs will never work properly so drink up that water and GOOD LUCK!

Hmm.
No. I have applied highly active (30+) Manuka to my face before... It was a nice facemask and I felt like it may have smoothed the skin a little... but does it help with acne? No.

Misunderstood treatment

Pros:

natural
gentle
smoothing

Cons:

slow acting
not a cure

regular store bought honey is usually nothing but sugar or corn syrup and is NOT good for your skin or your body. What you need is either raw, organic, local honey, or better yet, imported organic Manuka Honey, which has proven antibacterial properties. Take my advice, I have worked on farms, i have been going to holistic doctors and using herbs to heal for years. when you do use the right kind of honey, it can definitely help with scarring. its not a miracle cure, but more of a supplimental thing, along with whatever else you're doing. It is a good option for light cleansing or a mask, as it doesn't strip natural oils and isnt full of chemicals. I used Manuka Honey as a mask and it wasn't a cure but it was a nice gentle helpful treatment and made my skin incredibly smooth.

Gets rid of blackheads. USE RAW HONEY (or manuka above +18)
Would rather use this to wash my face than anything else, really has helped better than anything i've ever tried to get rid of blackheads on my nose (tried ocm, all acid peels, all scrubs including coffee and microdermabrasian, epsom salts, urine therapy etc etc) but when i want to really dry out my white heads quickly i use african black soap (a simplistic formula not containing palm oil) in conjunction with taking standardised saw palmetto my acne has disappeared forever.

Pros:

-works straight away
-no more breakouts
clears redness within 2 days
-clears scars within 2 days

Cons:

none

this stuff is amazing, i have had acne since i was 11. im now 18. i have tried everything on the market and been to the doctors numerous times, nothing has worked. all it does it leave redness around the area. yeh it may get rid of acne for a bit but it will come back. i have never had any confidence when going out, always worrying about my acne now it doesnt bother me. the only time i have clear skin is when i go to the beach, and when i do i get so many looks from girls and pick up so many numbers. then when i get back i get a breakout and every girl just walks staright past me. now that i have found this honey method the looks are coming back again and i finally have the confidence to go talk to them. bottom line is YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS. BEST THING YOU WILL EVER DO.
