Pros:

Clears your face like magic

Cons:

Saying there is a con for honey is like saying there is a con for exercise. It aint easy but the benefits outweigh the cost

I am a "beeliever"! My acne was completely out of control before I used pure honey on my face. My face was burned, red and inflamed from using medication by the doctor. I used tea tree oil for two weeks and my face showed very slow signs of recovery. After sleeping with a honey mask for 2 nights the inflamation disappeared. After 3 nights my pimples started to heal. After 4 nights my face looked completely clear and smooth. I honestly didn't think this was possible. I highly recommend drinking 4 liters of water per day and eating non greasy foods. Last but not least put a towel over your pillow when you sleep. Trust me on this. I never leave reviews but I want to help others because I was depressed about my skin and now I feel like a million bucks!

Pros:

Natural, Raw, Organic, My Skin has a glow to it, Significantly reduced redness, Scars have faded, Tastes yummy!, My skin doesn't itch anymore, My skin is clear!

Cons:

A tiny bit messy but I can deal with that because of the amazing results I've achieved.

I slather Raw, Organic honey on my face whenever I can. I leave it on for as long as I can, until it begins to drip. The results are absolutely amazing. For years I've been so embarrassed and felt so ugly because of my acne but now I feel beautiful. Due to harsh acne products my skin itched like crazy, to the point that I would cry. Since the first day I have used honey as a mask, I have had no more itching and my face becomes more clear as the days pass. I still get some new spots but no more cystic acne. When I do get a small whitehead now I just spot on some honey, leave it overnight, and I'm as good as golden the next day. If you are suffering from acne, try this! It may not work for everyone but I can't stop telling my friends and family about it. My Mom laughs at me because every time she comes home from work she says, "Oh Hi, Honey! There isn't a day goes by that you're not covered in honey!" But then she's always complementing me on my skin now. I love it! Try it!

Pros:

-by far THE BEST spot treatment I have ever come across
-cheap
-you can just lick it off when it drips down your face :)

Cons:

-sticky, messy
-sucks to sleep in if you sleep on your side, gets all over your pillow..but I do it anyways, it's worth it!

**For this post, I am referring to the honey as a spot treatment, not as a whole face mask.** I have tried pretty much EVERY spot treatment there is out there. Nothing comes close to how good this natural remedy is!! I found it works best on pimples that were "just popped" Every single time I have popped a pimple and put this on overnight, when I wake up in the morning it is at least 75% reduced in size. Has only worked a couple times for PREVENTING pimples, but if you catch one early enough and apply this consistently every night, it should stop it from coming to a head. **Make sure to get PURE, UNFILTERED, RAW honey, for best results. I have also heard Makuna honey works well also. ***DO NOT microwave it!! Microwaving or heating any food up will decrease it's natural nutrients by at least 50% (learned this in nutrition class) same reason why eating raw vegetables is better and healthier than eating cooked veggies. For best results, don't heat it up! Usually your body temperature will melt it on contact with your skin. Some people don't like the fact that it drips, so they will put a piece of tissue paper over it. I have found that every time i've done this it's not as effective. It's almost as if the blemish "drinks up" the honey, because everytime i've put some tissue over it, in the morning the tissue is "sucked" into my pimple. therefore when I take the tissue off, it starts to bleed! not good :/ I just leave it alone and let it drip! Hope this helps...has worked for me :)

Pros:

-leaves skin glowing and smooth
-shows improvement after a few uses
-cheaper alternative
-natural

Cons:

-sticky and messy
-a tingly feeling
-tends to drip a bit

This is not a over the night miracle, but allowing some time it may actually work. I have only used started using the honey mask recently and have so far seen some improvement in my skin. Honey is a natural antibacterial acne fighting element, so I recommend all those who suffer acne to try this alternative.

Pros:

-fades red marks.
-smooths skin.
-looks to be helping in filling my few very shallow depressions on my jawline. =)
-brightens complexion.

Cons:

Its the waiting around that I hate while wearing the mask because you cant really do anything because of the dripping. I just lay out a old blanket on my bed, light some candles, soothing music and lay down and chill so its not all bad =)

I dont really see it helping to dry out spots lke some other people say but it does seem to even my colouring and complexion so its wonderfull for that. Also when you apply spend a good 5 minutes really massaging it into your skin i find this helps alot. I brought my honey from a well known health store in the UK Holland and Barret, all their Honey is raw and Organic I think I payed about £4.99. Bottom line: You cant really go wrong...just try it.

Pros:

Nice smell
Nice taste
Skin is gowing and smooth
Reduces acne

Cons:

Needs privacy to use it
Sticky and messy

Honey is a miracle. I have used a mixture of honey and cinamon for about 3-4 week daily for about 1-2 hours before sleeping. (I've tried to sleep with the mask but I gave it up when I woke up with my face stuck on my arm after first night :D). My skin was smooth and glowing. After loooooong time, my acne was finally reduced!!! I looked amazing as never before. I just had to apply it when I was alone coz I looked like a monster with that stuff on my face :D It really helps. I reccommend it to everyone. You can also add some lemon juice.

Pros:

ツ Softens skin
ツ Fades blemishes/scars pretty quickly
ツ Cheap & homemade
ツ Easy to make
ツ Smells & Tastes good

Cons:

None ♥

I've been using this mask for about ... 4 days. I'm 13 and I've had acne for about 2 years now, and I HATE it. I don't want to go to high school with blemishes on my face. I've tried Proactiv -- didnt work for me. I've also tried Max Clarity Foam -- made my skin EXTREMELY dry. I also have minor acne scars. I needed something that'll fade my acne & scars, and soften my skin. My friend told me about a honey mask, so I Googled it, and found out what other things I can add to it, and now I'm using it as a daily regimen ツ First of all, it's really easy to make. What I add to the honey is cinnamon, nutmeg, and some oatmeal. Adding oatmeal makes it less drippy. I usually put it on before I go take a shower, so I wont make a mess on the bathroom sink. I usually keep it on for about 15-20 minutes. Since I began using it my skin is dramatically softer, and my skintone is becoming more even ツ I reccomend this to people who has given up on finding that one product, to then eventually find out that it does nothing.

Finally feel confident about my skin!
I have been using the honey mask for just over a week now and I am amazed at the results. I have struggled with acne for years and years. It's always been the one thing I've hated about myself. To the point where I couldn't stand to even look in the mirror. My skin is always breaking out and is extremely prone to scarring. I decided to give it a go after reading so many positive reviews. After the first few days I could see a huge improvement. A week on and I haven't broken out once. My skin looks the best it has for a very long time! And thats just after a week.. I have never written a review before but I felt I just had to to recommend this! If you're struggling with acne please give this a go! I usually put it on for an hour or so in the evening. Just apply honey (can be mixed with cinnamon/lemon) in circler motions to your face. I try to spend a couple of minutes massaging it into my skin. Then just leave it. Obviously make sure all of your hair is pinned back! Then I just wash it off. If I can I also put it on before I go to sleep and wash it off in the mornings. I feel that the longer you have it on the more beneficial it is. Would 1000% recommend! Good luck guys! xxx

Pros:

gentle on skin, removes redness, softens skin, reduces swelling, no harsh chemicals. doesn't leave skin oily, flaky, or dry patches.

Cons:

None

my dd is the sufferer in our family, we have tried numerous OTC w/various results. mostly with no results. after using plain honey the first time I could see a marked difference in her skin, the redness was minimal, the infection would be drawn out. now its used twice a day morning (5-15 mins) night (15-30 mins). twice a wk I mix a bit of sugar in with the honey for her arms and back, once a wk she does a honey/sugar scrub (2 T honey 2 T sugar- this will be a thick scrub but will melt with body temp) on her face, back, arms, chest. within the next two weeks I am going to do a honey/salt scrub (2 T honey 1/2 tsp salt) for her shoulders/back IF the bumps comes back. so far we both are well pleased with using the honey treatment. ALL SCRUBS ARE DONE USING A GENTLE PRESSURE NOT HARD SCRUBBING.
