Pros:

I love the taste of Green tea
Can use the tea bag as a toner
Count as a cup of water

Cons:

Can't drink around time of period does something to iron and pro longs the amount of days of period

Drink it straight or with natural lemon juice in it. Keep it clean and healthy no added sugar and it should do the trick

Pros:

- reduced pore size
- reduced breakouts
- skin feels hydrated and smooth

Cons:

This isn't really a con, but I have found that when I reheat the tea it works best. Just adds an extra minute to a daily regime.

I have been using loose leaf green tea as a face wash/toner for about a year and I couldn't be happier! I have extremely sensitive skin, it reacts to everything, even sensitive skin products I've purchased from my dermatologist. That being said, I've done my fair share of research and knowing the benefits of drinking green tea I figured its natural and safe to use on my skin. Gave it a chance and I've never looked back. I would definitely suggest giving it a try my face has never felt/looked better. Like anything, you have to give it a chance to work. If after a month you don't notice a change, you can still use the product so its not a waste of money. I use QUO's facial sponge to wash and if I feel like I need to give my face a good scrub (especially after a workout) I use QUO's scrub pad with the green tea and it works like a facial scrub would minus the harsh chemicals!

Pros:

-Clears acne
-It doesn't make skin itchy
-Makes skin soft
-Taste good

Cons:

-Messy if you're applying it on face

Im Chinese so my family drinks green tea all the time. I don't think drinking green tea help alot with my face. Actually maybe. No one in my family ever got acne, THEN I CAME ALONG. I got pimples here, and there. Then I broke out. My acne is light-moderate. I continue to drink green tea. Its like a substitute for water. I use the egg white mask, then I mix some green tea leaves with water to rinse off the egg whites. It works ! I've been using it for a week now and my skin is not nearly clear, but Its amazing !!

Pros:

- Makes skin smooth and soft
- Helps out with acne

Cons:

- None really

Its good and you should at least try it out. Try for at least 3 cups a day. You'll get used to the taste after a while. If you're concerned about staining your teeth, drink it with a straw.

Pros:

Completely eliminated acne and is good for the body too!

Cons:

I can't find any

I have tried over the counter medication, Proactiv, anything to get rid of my acne and nothing, NOTHING has worked like green tea. I have suffered with acne (including cystic) since I was 13 - I am now 32 and have not had a pimple since December 08 when I started drinking at least 3 cups of green tea a day. I read that a lot of people don't like the taste of just plain green tea (I don't particularly like it myself) but I have found flavored works just as well - you may want to try the Lipton Green Tea Collection, some of the flavors include Lemon Ginseng, Mint & Mixed Berry.

Pros:

Eliminates oil
Makes skin brighter
Dries up pimples

Cons:

None

Drinking green tea won't clear up your acne on it's own. You have to change your diet as well. So, along with drinking green tea I have a very healthy diet, exercise, do breathing techniques to relieve stress, take 3000mg of Omega 3 fish oil, and plenty of water. With doing all that I have noticed a huge change. Some things that are bad for your skin that I have noticed are gluten, wheat, dairy, sugar and caffeine so I have almost eliminated those harmful things and my face looks much better. Green tea was the last thing I added to my diet and it has been amazing! I drink 4 cups a day of caffeine free real green tea from China that I get from a health food store.

Pros:

Made my skin smother, takes away acne, its inexpensive

Cons:

Makes my stomach hurt just a lil bit

I had a forehead full of giant pimples for about 2-3 weeks they did not want to go away. I started drinking Lipton Green Tea a week ago, I drink 3-4 cups a day and wash my face once a day with St. Ives apricot scrub for blemishes. My pimples started going away within 2 days. Note: I was using the St. Ives face wash by itself and it did not do much to clear my acne. Now im on my 5th day and my forehead is almost clear. i'm just waiting for the scars to fade away. the green tea works good.

Pros:

If you use it topically (rub a used bag of DECAF green tea on your face two or three times a day, don't wash off) it will reduce oiliness and over a month or two significantly decrease acne

Cons:

A little messy. Be careful with white clothing, as it will stain. Can be tough if you have a beard, which can shred the tea bag.

I have a longer review below. I just wanted to check back in and say that this is still working amazingly for after six month. After having acne for 15 years, this is the ONLY thing that has ever decreased my oil production and consistently decreased acne. My face is clear now and has been for months. Just remember: (1) drink DECAF tea and use only decaf tea bags. Caffeine is bad for your skin and will increase acne. People keep saying green tea makes their skin worse, but that's the caffeine, not the tea; (2) use it topically at least twice a day. You can layer BP over it if you like.

Pros:

Worked almost instantly! Tastes good and is inexpensive. Not to mention all of the health benefits.

Cons:

None that I can think of!!!!

After reading all the reviews yesterday, and the fact that I already love drinking green tea, I figured I had nothing to lose by rubbing the tea bag on acne. I am amazed! The redness went away immediately and the bumps went down within minutes. My friend even said that my face looked better, and she'll have to try it. Fantastic!!!
