Skin looks healthy
Yummy

Cons:

Well at first it tastes bad but then it gets better. I actually like it now.

Try it! I am 15 and I had body and face acne. After about a week drinkin this and using sea breeze astringent my face and body are in the clear. It is a good feeling to walk around in a tank top without being self conscious:))))

Pros:

clears acne
reduces inflammation
fades hyperpigmentation
helps you lose weight
cleans out toxins
reduces stress

Cons:

taste--but you get used to it (I kind of like it now)

Green tea has significantly reduced my acne. I don't think it's the green tea alone though--when I drink it, it makes me feel healthier, and that has inspired me to clean up my diet and simplify my skincare system. I do two things: I drink two pots of strong (two teabags each) green tea (organic, caffeinated, flavored or not depending on whether I want to use teabags topically) and then I rub the unflavored teabags on my skin in the morning to wash my face. I then put on a serum and moisturizer. I don't drink or use the decaffeinated kind, because green tea is pretty low in caffeine already, and I try to avoid any extra processing I can. My skin has gone from moderate to light acne because of the green tea (and subsequent diet and lifestyle changes). I find the best kind is the Japanese organic green tea. I've noticed it seems to be the best kind to rub on my skin. Best thing is, I didn't have an initial breakout!

Pros:

I have been applying this Topically for about 2 months regularly, sometimes twice a day. It takes a long time to actually get rid of acne I may say, but if you use it regularly for a Year, it should be gone. I've used it and have seen results. If I hadn't have been using this, My acne would be much worse. I do notice that it gets rid of pimples quickly, but to cure acne, it takes a while. It controls your acne and has amazing health benefits. Truly try it, and drink Decaffinated ONLY.

Cons:

None at all, I have developed a love for the taste, and have no problem drinking freshly brewed Green Tea. :-)

Absolutely worth it. It's an essential for me and I drink it every day. See for yourself, it has so many health benefits and makes your skin feel fresh.

Pros:

Reduced red and infalmed pustules on face with a day or two.

Cons:

none

I am currently in my 2nd month of Accutane and am still completely broken out. I am getting huge red pimples that are inflamed and filled with pressure almost every day. Desperate, I read about green tea helping to reduce inflammation so I bought some Lipton Green Tea and have drank one cup for the last 3 mornings. I noticed a huge improvement in my skin by the second day. I have not gotten any new large pimples since I started drinking it. I am definitely goignt oincrease how much I am drinking and try rubbin the tea bag on my face as others have mentioned.

Pros:

smoother skin, faster healing pimples, comfortable skin,

Cons:

tastes a little weird, messy if you use it externally, feels kind of weird at first,

i have only been using it for a couple hours and i have already had such an improvement. when i got home from school my skin felt dirty, oily, and just horribly uncomfortable. as i ran my fingers on my face it felt bumpy and gross. i suffer from moderate acne but since the past couple hours my skin looks already a lot better. it feels smoother and the huge pimple i had on my chin just this morning is almost gone. i feel a lot more comfortable in my skin and i really do have a lot of hopes for this. by drinking 1 cup of tea and by rubbing the warm tea bag all over my face i was able to achieve this. i plan on doing this 2 times a day (or more) and hopefully my skin will look clearer. of course it all depends on an individual person's skin but whatever. good luck, acne sufferers! you're almost at the clear. [haha, acne joke.]

Pros:

Works fast, heals acne, tastes good. Use only organic green tea.

Cons:

I can't sleep well if I drink it after 4 pm. I bought the decaf one, but I think it's not as good as the regular one.

Don't drink green tea more than 3 cups daily, otherwise it'll be toxic. Too much caffeine and antioxidants are not good for you. I usually have matcha (Japanese green tea) in the morning, Chinese green before lunch, and american (i think lol) green tea in the afternoon. Oh yeah, one more tip, don't drink green tea or water when you eat. And I also brew green tea in the morning, put it in the small bottle (don't pour it when it's still hot), and use it as a toner. After that, put organic aloe vera gel to moisture skin. The aloe gel works amazingly! When looking for aloe vera gel, make sure if it's organic and doesn't contain too many preservatives. Don't buy it at CVS, buy it at organic stores. One more thing, I just found out (I'm pretty sure), the major cause of acne is stress. I've been living stress-free for a while now, and it helps me clear my skin. when I feel anxious, I usually take 100mg of magnesium, safer way than the anti-anxiety pills. btw, m

IT works but you have to buy the right kind!
I bought my pure organic matcha green tea powder from amazon! Every morning I put about a tsp in a cold water bottle, shake it up and add some squeezes of lemon. My skin has been clearing up dramatically. My blackheads and whiteheads are diminishing. Also, you have to take diet and exercise into consideration as well. I've been keeping up with both and taking advantage of the sauna at my gym. Seriously everyone, if you want to clear up - it is an all around lifestyle change you must go through. Adding the green tea to my life has been the best thing for my skin though.

what is the name of that pls?

Pros:

I am 26 years old and have learned that my acne is related to changes in my blood sugar. Green tea after a meal, especially after a starchy meal, helps keep blood sugar levels constant. Green tea has been a lifeline.

Cons:

Caffeine: there is a small amount in a cup. However, The decaf varieties work just as well, i just like the traditional jasmine pearls.

Drink it after every meal, avoid sugar altogether, and don't go too long between meals.
