Pros:

-very cheap and it'll last you a while
-reduces acne after a while
-great for not only body, but your skin

Cons:

No cons

I found green tea is great for your acne, and i've been using it for around 5 days. Once a week, i steam my face with green tea (put a green tea bag in a facial steamer and let it boil). But daily, i drink around 3-4 cups of green tea and in the morning and night, i rub the green tea bag on my face and let it dry after cleansing. I can see small, but getting there, improvements on my acne. I'm planning on sticking with green tea for a while :D it tastes good too!!!!

Pros:

- Deminishes scars
- makes skin baby soft for about an hour
- No new breakouts
- Tones skin

Cons:

- dry skin which lead to small rashes that sting
- tastes a bit yuck
- My skin started to become very sensitive

I started drinking and washing my face with green tea 1 month ago and the left side of my face has had no new breakouts since I started using it. I had acne scars all along my jaw line and now you can't see them anymore. Also, my blackheads have started to dissapear as well. I still get pimples on the right side of my face every now and then but I think its because I sleep on that side and my pillow may not be as clean as I think it is. It also, ( not sure why, it may or may not be be because of the use of green tea) the skin on my cheek bones is now very dry and it started to become like that after I started washing my face with this green tea, it further lead to small rashes that really stung when I touched/washed etc, the rashes are gone but the skin around the area is still very dry. I think it was my skin getting used to the detoxification or it may be that my skin doesn't react well to the green tea. Overall though, its keeping the pimples away and I'm very happy about that! since that is what I wanted in the first place. A little dry skin is nothing anyways, I reccomend green tea for those who want a natural remedy for pimples. My face is evenly toned!

Pros:

Cleared up all of my acne and gives my skin a glow to it. When I first started drinking green tea I also had a lot of the pimples that were underneath the skin. So, I also started taking birth control due to a hormal imbalance. But I definitely notice the difference when i'm on the BC and stop drinking the green tea.

Cons:

none

Drink green tea....lots of it. around 2-3 cups a day!

Pros:

Green tea actually breaks down the fat in your food and nutralizes the oxidants in your body, so that you get less acne, it also actually makes me look more alive and younger and speeds up the rate at wich your body repairs acne scars.

Cons:

Keeps me awake because of the caffeine
makes me lose weight like crazy because I already have a fast metabolism.

Drinking grreen tea is good for you, It made me get WAY LESS acne than i used to get, and my acne was cycstic and very frequent like a new pimple everyday, and now i dont get sever acne anymore, my face looks much clearer. TIP: tomorow im actually gonna try brewing some green and putting it in a spray bottle then spraying it onto my face....I will let you guys know the benefits of doing that in a few weeks....or days lol

Pros:

keeps acne under control, overall healthy for body

Cons:

green tea still contains caffeine, "grassy" taste of some green teas

I've been drinking a variety of green and white teas for years. It's part of my daily routine now, to drink 2-3 10oz glasses a day. I remember when I first started, after about a month or so, the effects were dramatic - green tea seemed to purify my skin and it really showed. Now, I get the occasional pimple, but I know my acne would be a LOT worse if I didn't drink green day everyday. Plus there are many clinical studies out there that claim green tea is good for your overall health, so why not try it?

Pros:

Continues to work as an overall health improver
Prompts you to have a more healthy life style
Controls acne as part of a strong regimen
More wonderful for hormone imbalances than I can describe
Easy to incorporate into day to day life

Cons:

Did not get rid of my acne on it's own
Seemed to become less effective on my skin, but I've not been half as ill this year as last year, so I think my body is using it for other places now

This is a follow up review on drinking green tea. I now drink plain green tea with pure honey, still from Twinings. This drink is so insanely good for you. My hormones have regulated a fair bit so that womanly problems aren't horrendous anymore, my muscle mass is growing fast with this and training and I've not caught every single bug that's going around like I normally do. Used as a topical that's just left on over night this forms like a film over my skin so that it can't breathe and I get more spots. This didn't get rid of my acne like it looked like it would at the start. I don't particularly care and I'll drink this forever for the other health benefits. It does seem to have reduced it somewhat though. This stuff really inspires you to get healthier in other ways too, and if nothing else, your self esteem will thank you for it. A healthy life style makes you glow, and somehow your acne seems less important and smaller.

Pros:

Reduces acne
Fresh, glowing skin
Brightens up dark spots
Keeps you feeling energized

Cons:

None so far

I've been drinking Green Tea for about a month now and this may be the best natural way that helps clearing up my acne. I have light acne but very bad dark spots from the acne. First day drinking Green Tea, it instantly makes my face looks fresh! Ever since then it's improved, from looking so dull (plus the blemishes), my skin glows naturally. I don't use make up at all so I badly needed a cure to perk my face up real nice. Now I still have a few dark spots to deal with and fewer acne problems. A week ago I started using the teabags as toner, and my old dark spots is slowly brightening up. It feels nice and fresh on the face, I dab it on every morning before class. I also like to put on HONEY MASK after toning, I think it goes well. I think it would take some time for the old spots to vanish, but I'm definitely stinking to Green Tea for good. Will be back for further review in another month or two, the important thing is you have to be persistent!

Pros:

Nearly perfect skin

Cons:

Taste
Stains my white sink

7/8 cup water per tea bag, microwave for one minute, then add 1 tsp of honey, 1-2 times a day. I have light acne naturally, but with green tea, its non-existent, except for my persistent blackheads (which are disappearing if I scrub them open then run the used tea bag over them) I use the wet tea bags as a toner and wipe them over my face. It took me forever to find something that actually works, for I am allergic to benzoyl peroxide and have sensitive skin. Clear skin, and loving it.
