Not such good coverage if you have severe acne

I bought this about a month ago,at first i did like it because it gives nice coverage but only if you cake on amounts of it. About a month later it started to broke me out,i got cystic acne all over my face, its was so gross! I stopped using it and i didn't broke out more,to my point now;i wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Pros:

covers really well
nice, velvet feeling at first
not expensive
does not cause break out

Cons:

skin looks greasy after a few hours
change colour within some time
very thick
adds a grey shade to your skin

I have found this one by accident, I try not to use any make up firstly because I am afraid of break outs and and secondly because I prefer to cure my skin instead of hiding it. Anyway at first when I tried it, I liked it a lot because it leaves nice, velvet touch and it covers really well. But when I got out all night wearing it, my night turns into a disaster! My hole face became really greasy and shiny as well. Not pleasant at all. I am still terrified when I see some pics from that night!

-stays for a long time
-makes my skin look super soft

I love this foundation! i have tried others that didnt make my skin look as amazing as this one:) sounds cheesy but its so true! i recomend this foundation to everyone especially those with acne scars. it really does cover all my acne scars and makes my skin look extra soft. and for my pimples well it just covers all my redness and thats good for me:)

Pros:

sticks on your face
great color range

Cons:

because of my oily skin the foundation turned orange, a little difficult to wash off

great color range but I had to select a lighter color in the hopes my skin wouldn't look like a pumpkin, I'd definitely recommend testing it at the store and leaving for an hour or two to make sure you don't have the same problem as I did.

Pros:

Fantastic coverage - however some acne scars may benefit with use of concealer
No shine!
Long lasting

Cons:

Limited colours to choose from
You may breakout if you don't wash it all off - its difficult to get off, i'd recommend cleanser and a good toner after (biore - astringent works great)

GET IT! - very worth it :-)

Pros:

- Long lasting oil resistant
- amazing coverage
- great for day out/ night out
- sweat proff

Cons:

- heavy
- hard to remove
- expensive
- colour (I mix 2 different shades to get my perfect shade) Ivory + a dab of toast

I cannot count how many makeup brands I have tried and all of them failed miserably and all were a wase of money. Aside from this product Revlon photofinish is great if you want something less heavy and less long lasting. Yes this product is heavy and hard to remove but thats the whole point of this product is for it to stick on especially if you have oily skin. All the makeup I have tried my face eats up! This foundation was made for my skin!!! Took me a bit to get use to the texture but this foundation is exacly what I need for my oily, acne prone skin. The coverage is great! Its hard to match to your skin so I use the Ivory and add a bit the colour toast and it makes my perfect shade!

Pros:

Covers severe scars and redness well
the ONLY foundation i've found to match my skin tone
controls oil very well!

Cons:

bit pricey and must wash face at least twice to get it off.

I ADORE this product! I am a makeup maven and I've tried every drugstore and department store brand. Works better than Mac and Laura Mercier. I have incredibly oily skin, and this worked better for me than primer and oil control washes combined. Works great on scarring and redness, and lasts all day. PERFECT for people who get oily and find their makeup constantly smearing.

Normal/dry skin formula works!
Been using this foundation for over 4 years now! I would like to note however that I use the normal/dry skin formula as the oily formula breaks me out massively! Besides this slight flaw in marketing as they are basically completely different foundations, I used this foundation when my acne was at its worst and it was the only foundation that stay put the entire day and provides full coverage.

Almost flawless!
For those of you who don't wish to spend on top-branded foundations, this is your holy grail product! However I would recommend this to people with more yellow undertones. It's definitely full coverage and depending on your skin type, Revlon ColorStay offer foundations to suit your skin type (Normal/Dry or Oily/Combination) which is hard to find with most drug store foundations. I've tried a fair amount of drug store foundations - experimenting with the different looks it can achieve - and I have to say, this one does the trick! Tip: If you're finding that this foundation may be a little too thick for your liking, dampen your makeup brush with the smallest amount of water before applying this to your face. That way, it makes the foundation appear more sheer rather than full coverage.
