Pros:

*good coverage
*long lasting
*can use fingers to apply

Cons:

*pricey for drugstore cosmetic
*medium beige made me look pink at times

i have a lot of acne scars on my cheeks so i would require heavy coverage for them and colorstay provided good coverage. it did make my scars look purpley at first so i had to go over my scars using my finger, just dapping more foundation on the scars, concentrating on just those spots and my scars were covered i also have very oily skin and i never blot or powder my face. i found that this foundation is pretty good at keeping me shine free except on like 32 degree days of course. i have sensitive acne prone skin as well and this did not make me break out much excepy for one or two pimples on my forehead but its goodd i would recommend this foundation because its pretty good, best drugstore foundation ive tried :)

Pros:

Fantastic coverage - however some acne scars may benefit with use of concealer
No shine!
Long lasting

Cons:

Limited colours to choose from
You may breakout if you don't wash it all off - its difficult to get off, i'd recommend cleanser and a good toner after (biore - astringent works great)

GET IT! - very worth it :-)

Pros:

*great coverage
*buildable
*covered ALL of my red spots
*even made pitted scars less noticeable

Cons:

*made me breakout
*needed to blot every now and then
*gave my blackheads

this product is 50-50. if you have very light acne or you're just healing from an intense breakout and you're looking for something to hide those annoying red marks, then this could be the foundation for you BUT if you're still breaking out on a daily basis, don't touch the stuff!

Pros:

Available everywhere!
Cheap!
Great Coverage
Stays put, no transfer onto your clothes
Matte Finish controls shine

Cons:

Smells like latex paint...buy hey, it covers like it too, so I can live with that!

It's hard to get off, so you'll need to use a tissue with jojoba oil prior to washing.

I discovered this one day when I was brousing UTube videos for Marlena, the Makeup Geek. She was raving about this stuff. I used the Foundation Matrix by Temptalia to find my shade. I use both 180 Sand Beige and 200 Nude. Marlena says the key to this is to use a primer to help the stuff glide on. She recommends Monistat Anti-chafing Gel (that's kinda weird). It is good, reminds me of the Makeup Artist's Choice Velvet Veil, but way cheaper. If I am going to be outside a lot that day, I use the Oil of Olay Dan recommends, but the foundation doesn't glide as well, and I get really oily later. I apply with Everyday Minerals Flat-Top Brush, set with a tiny amount of Makeup Artists Choice Waterproof Setting Powder and finish with a setting spray. I am happy with the results, but remember technique is very important with this stuff!

Pros:

- Long lasting oil resistant
- amazing coverage
- great for day out/ night out
- sweat proff

Cons:

- heavy
- hard to remove
- expensive
- colour (I mix 2 different shades to get my perfect shade) Ivory + a dab of toast

I cannot count how many makeup brands I have tried and all of them failed miserably and all were a wase of money. Aside from this product Revlon photofinish is great if you want something less heavy and less long lasting. Yes this product is heavy and hard to remove but thats the whole point of this product is for it to stick on especially if you have oily skin. All the makeup I have tried my face eats up! This foundation was made for my skin!!! Took me a bit to get use to the texture but this foundation is exacly what I need for my oily, acne prone skin. The coverage is great! Its hard to match to your skin so I use the Ivory and add a bit the colour toast and it makes my perfect shade!

Pros:

Long wearing
oil control
cheap
good dupe of el dw

Cons:

Broke out everytime I tried to wear it
need oil cleanser to remove
not a good color match

Would love it if it didn't break me out and had good color match. This is a good dupe for estee lauder double wear (which does not break me out but is definately more expensive)

Pros:

good coverage
oil free
good skin tone matches
can fine in most drugstores/target/walmart
holds well all day, refresh with face powder

Cons:

Definitely need a powder finish for more natural look.
People know you are wearing foundation
needs a double wash at night to feel clean

This is the best I have found for combo skin with break outs. Be careful not to buy the one for normal skin (looks the same and has same skin tone choices) as this mistake will break you out big time! Make sure your bottle says "oil free." I use a moisturizer with sunscreen underneath b/c this foundation does not have a high SPF, but at least is has some sunscreen. I use a latex free sponge to apply and use a new one each time. I apply with light strokes and then lightly blot with sponge to pick up unevenly applied or for increased coverage. I have not found any higher end foundations that work as well.

Pros:

Covered blemishes

Cons:

Broke me out
Really Heavy
Feels oily after a couple of hours

Colorstay did not agree with my skin, as it clogged my pores big time. I had a ton of under the skin nodules, that weren't pretty, particularly in the sun. It felt really heavy and cakey, I couldn't imagine wearing this in the summer. Overall, it gave my that feeling of yuckiness all day, as though my face was heavy and my pores were clogging every minute I had it on.
