Pros:

Available everywhere!
Cheap!
Great Coverage
Stays put, no transfer onto your clothes
Matte Finish controls shine

Cons:

Smells like latex paint...buy hey, it covers like it too, so I can live with that!

It's hard to get off, so you'll need to use a tissue with jojoba oil prior to washing.

I discovered this one day when I was brousing UTube videos for Marlena, the Makeup Geek. She was raving about this stuff. I used the Foundation Matrix by Temptalia to find my shade. I use both 180 Sand Beige and 200 Nude. Marlena says the key to this is to use a primer to help the stuff glide on. She recommends Monistat Anti-chafing Gel (that's kinda weird). It is good, reminds me of the Makeup Artist's Choice Velvet Veil, but way cheaper. If I am going to be outside a lot that day, I use the Oil of Olay Dan recommends, but the foundation doesn't glide as well, and I get really oily later. I apply with Everyday Minerals Flat-Top Brush, set with a tiny amount of Makeup Artists Choice Waterproof Setting Powder and finish with a setting spray. I am happy with the results, but remember technique is very important with this stuff!

Horrible ingredients, Painful breakouts!
For a long time I did not realize this foundation was ruining my skin. I wouldn't use it every day, but when I did I would break out painfully within 24 hours even after thourough cleansing and moisturizing. I did my research after found it was full of 4 products all terrible for your skin. It contains silicone (dimethicone, trimethicone and phenyl) and bad fatty acid (ethylhexl palmitate from Palm oil) which are proven to clog pores, irritate skin and cause breakouts. It also contains unlabeled Salicyclic acid which dries out your skin if you already cleanse you face with other acne fighting products. Not to mention the fast drying formula drys your skin out as well. Between the drying and pore clogging this is just about the worst thing you could put on your face if you're acne prone.

Great foundation, unless you have acne!
I only wear makeup on special occasions (weddings, graduations, etc.) and these events tend to last a very long time (5+ hours). I tend to get oily within an hour or two, so I needed a product to last on my skin, while also having great coverage to conceal my acne and redness in my face. I picked this up and I wore it to an event that lasted around 6 hours, it stayed on great and looked wonderful, but I noticed that my skin had broken out WHILE WEARING THE MAKEUP. Both of my cheeks were covered in cystic acne! Honestly, if you don't have very acne prone skin, this is a good foundation, BUT if you have acne prone skin STAY AWAY FROM THIS FOUNDATION.

Pros:

Covers all kinds of acne and scars
Stays on for more than 8-12 hours.

Cons:

Difficult to remove
After 6 months of use, acne got very very bad.

At first I used this because everyone recommended it here. TRUST ME. It might be the BEST make up you'll ever use if you have acne/scars you want to hide. But please take my advice seriously. Because of the deceiving beauty it provides you become addicted to how you fool yourself that you don't have acne anymore. Obviously, the ingredients in this make up is NOT good for acne skin. I had light-moderate acne here and there BEFORE I used it. And my purpose was to hide my scars. But now (after 6 months) I have HORRIBLE purging and cyst like big acne around my chin/cheek. I haven't got those since 5 years. I'm very sad because I am going COLD turkey with make up from so many comments I got. Please, abstain... this is only for occasional use.

I wish I had read these reviews sooner
It started when I received a coupon for any Revlon makeup. I decided to give it a try since it would cost me only $8 which is a good bargain. Well, that was my first mistake. I have acne prone skin and most of my cosmetics are usually expensive and I have less breakout. I though maybe this product must be good since a lot of Youtubers were happy about the full coverage. After 2 days of using this new foundation, I stated to see some redness on one side of my cheek but I continued using which I should have stopped. Next thing, after 5 days my pores were so clogged that I ended up with a big "huge" boil on my left cheek. it was not even like my regular acne. I was devastated, my sister who's a dermatologist was chocked when she saw my face. I almost cried, but thankfully, she advised me to discontinued any makeup and use a gentle soap to clean my face. Next, she prescribed me some medications and I now my face is less worse. She told me it would take at least 4 to 6 months to clear up my skin. My advise to anyone with acne prone skin, please stay away from this product. Yes, it would give you a good coverage but the price you will pay to repair the damage skin that it caused is not worth it. If you already have a makeup foundation that gives you less breakouts as possible, use it instead and don't try to experiment too many new foundations especially those that have a lot of bad reviews. I learn my lesson the hard way, I wish I had read the negative reviews about this product sooner.

I wore a foundation twice that caused me to break out. Do you think the breakout will really last 4 to 6 months from it!?

never use this if you have acne prone skin
i have been using this foundation for 1 2 years and i loved it! i thought it had great coverage and it managed to cover all the redness, blemishes and spots on my face. But it made my skin worse literally when i took the makeup off, my skin felt really bad and it is extremely hard to take this thing of your face!! it is clogging your pores and not letting your skin to breathe which is making you have more acne and blemishes. So girls i know you might feel as if it's covering your acne really well (that's what i thought) but it is actually making your skin worse and causing you to have more breakouts. Don't use it.

Pros:

-Great buildable coverage
-Long lasting
-Cheaper than department store foundation
-Easily accessible (depending on color)
-Did not break me out

Cons:

-Color selection
-May oxidize
-Difficult to remove
-May magnify wrinkles & some scars

I have a lot of red marks, and this foundation covers them wonderfully. I have been using it for 3+ years. Sorry, but if you don't regularly use foundation, or do not have time to blend thoroughly, this foundation will look terrible on you. Luckily, I have perfected my technique because I am a foundation veteran. I have tried three colors: Ivory (too white), Buff, and Nude. I am pale, but not ghost white. Currently, I use Nude, but it does oxidize throughout the day. I reapply powder to correct this, and the color becomes decent again. Yes, it is thick, but that's the consistency you need to cover red marks. However, it being thick, means you'll need a good cleanser to remove all traces of it. Overall, I would recommend this to seasoned foundation users. I would not recommend this to first-timers. If you want to cover red marks, and do it well, like I do, buy this.

Disappointing
This is cakey and within 12 hours of usage- this is the first day and first time using, well, all hell broke loose. I have newly birth fcking acne and its CYSTIC!. Wasted my 33 sgd 😢😢😢 i shouldve done research first before buying this product 😢😢😢. I have a terrible acne for over 2 years and i cannot let any foundation ruin my already ruined face. I will go back to my hg which is the mary kay timewise foundation which ive been using for almost three years and i promise i will never take my baby for granted anymore😂😂 beware of this if you have acne prone skin. Other than that, this mini monster is sucking out all the moisture on my face, after i wash my face the foundation is still there and its too drying for the skin. I curse this product for the rest of my life. Pls girls beware
