Not the best

Pros:

Covers well
Doesn't look too unatural

Cons:

Extreme breakouts
Oily
Isn't for sensitive skin

This foundation is good if you don't have problematic skin. Considering all of us are looking at reviews on acne.org, we basically all have problematic skin. I used the combination one years ago and I loved it because it does last a long time, it doesn't patch up, and it had medium-full coverage. But I've been more focused on clearing my skin rather than just covering it. I've been using Loreal's mineral powder foundation for a few weeks and my skin loved it. I began putting this foundation under my powder as a concealer when I was breaking out at...that time...and my skin is freaking out. It's very clogging to the pores, oily, and just not good for acne-prone skin. I've switched to Almay's clear complexion concealer and hopefully that'll make a difference since Almay is for sensitive skin.

Best foundation I've used!

Pros:

Coverage
Price
Long lasting

Cons:

Not a great color range
No pump on the bottle

I've been using this foundation for years now, ever since I've had acne and I love it. It has amazing coverage and it lasts all day, I put it on first thing in the morning and it still looks good before I wash it off at night! It's great because it has a Combation/Oily skin formula, and a Normal/Dry skin formula. I also use it with a concealer and powder over top, but it can just be used on its own! Things I've noticed over the years I've been using it are: -It gives the best coverage when you apply it using a damp sponge, I use the BeautyBlender but any sponge works, and apply it in a dabbing motion. -Do not touch your face while it is on, it can cause it to look patchy; I used to try and cover my face using my hand, but it just makes the foundation break up. It's inexpensive considering how well it works, and a bottle will last me over a month and I use it every day!

Pros:

-GREAT coverage
-Doesn't break me out/clog pores
-Easy to blend

Cons:

-Comes off easily, sometimes gets onto my clothes ( but comes out easily)

I don't understand why everybody is saying this foundation looks cakey, I think they may just be using too much of the product, because even with my (healing) acne and scars, my skin looks nearly flawless and pretty natural with this on, and I am SO happy that it doesn't break me out, which is a huge con for me in foundations.

Pros:

Full coverage
Nice coloring

Cons:

Cakey
Un-natural looking
I would break out after wearing for 8+hrs

I think someone else said it best when they used the term "stage makeup" -yes the coverage is great, but it just looks like you're wearing so much makeup, even with primer, proper applications and setting powder. I have very oily skin. Felt like it clogged my pores, I hate 'feeling' my layers of makeup sitting on my face. Almost impossible to touch up or wear for long periods of time without looking like a clown.

Pros:

-Great covarge
-Stayed all day
-Looked flawless

Cons:

-Need to blend well(not as bad as it sounds)
-Need the correct shade, otherwise it looks like a orange on top of a butt nut squash...

Its a good foundation that has everything just need to blend...

Pros:

Great full coverage
Does not rub off
Natural look
Many compliments received
I can wear this all day long, stays on great

Cons:

Weird smell
Does not make me breakout
Not that good color selection
Some shades are too red or orange (so I am used to mix them to get a perfect tone)
Difficult to remove it

I have been using this for about 9 years or more. I love it - it does not break me out as many many other foundations do. I mix a lighter shade with darker to get a perfect tone for my skin as many of Revlon shades are too orange. This foundation is the only one that stays on naturally looking and does not come off at the end of day, it doe snot became oily looking and my face is not shiny. I love it, will continue using this. Its expensive in Canada - $22.00 but in US I got this only for $6 (half price off).

Pros:

-> it was cheap because i bought it at a discount store.
-> decent coverage.

Cons:

-> thick and goopy
-> its hard to blend in! it got 'stuck' on parts of my hairline and i had to continuously rub over it until it finally blended in the way that i wanted it to.. 10 minutes later!
-> messy!
-> took quite some time to dry properly.

i wouldn't buy this foundation again. it has a heavy feel to it, and it's difficult to blend in. it covered my red hyperpigmentation pretty well, but that's about it, unfortunately.

Pros:

- good coverage
- long staying power
- buildable
- doesn't break me out

Cons:

- thick and messy to apply
- expensive

I've been using Colorstay for about 3 years now. I have acne, red mark, discoloration and scars and it covers up pretty good even though it doesnt really cover up pitted scars. I apply this foundation together with the pressed powder and it's a great combination 320 True Beige Combination/Oily

Would've been perfect if it didn't break me out!

This is for the oily/combination version!

I loved this foundation so much while I was wearing it, but sadly it broke me out badly. My face was so itchy and in pain with little bumps all over it the next day. :( Could've been my holy grail if it wasn't for that reaction.
