Great. (:

Pros:

Lasts all day
Full coverage
Conceals scars and pimples well.

Cons:

Smells a little
Can be hard to take off

I use this everyday because I have scarring on my right cheek and other places. If used with concealer, your skin will be flawless. I don't think it's heavy if you use the right primer and apply it right. I use my finger, (after I wash my hands of course!) and put a thin layer all over. Then, I go in and add more foundation to spots that need it. The smell is weird, but it'll go away after a few minutes. It really does last all day. I use the normal/dry skin version and it makes me look hydrated and not gross and flaky.

Pros:

coverage
cost

Cons:

extreme breakouts
felt very heavy

I tried this foundation after reading countless reviews on how great the coverage. I will admit that the coverage was great for hiding acne. But this is not an every day foundation. This was extremely heavy and only something that I would've used for special occasions. Unfortunately my skin breakout with 10 new pimples overnight with this product. I wouldn't recommend this foundtion due to the fact that it took two weeks after using it to get my skin under control.

Pros:

-GREAT coverage
-Doesn't break me out/clog pores
-Easy to blend

Cons:

-Comes off easily, sometimes gets onto my clothes ( but comes out easily)

I don't understand why everybody is saying this foundation looks cakey, I think they may just be using too much of the product, because even with my (healing) acne and scars, my skin looks nearly flawless and pretty natural with this on, and I am SO happy that it doesn't break me out, which is a huge con for me in foundations.

I have searched for a product that works this well, I feel like i have tried everything while spending a small fortune. This stuff is the real deal, I highly recommend it.

Pros:

Full coverage
Nice coloring

Cons:

Cakey
Un-natural looking
I would break out after wearing for 8+hrs

I think someone else said it best when they used the term "stage makeup" -yes the coverage is great, but it just looks like you're wearing so much makeup, even with primer, proper applications and setting powder. I have very oily skin. Felt like it clogged my pores, I hate 'feeling' my layers of makeup sitting on my face. Almost impossible to touch up or wear for long periods of time without looking like a clown.

Pros:

GREAT for spot treatment! Closest thing I've found to water resistant foundation-I put a dab on a huge pimple & no one sees it when I go swimming!

Cons:

NOT good to cake over your whole face! Too thick, makes creases & wrinkles look HUGE

Great for spots!

Pros:

cheaper than my current foundation, can buy it anywhere, not bad longevity and quite good coverage

Cons:

transfers on to clothes left right and center whenever it is hot or humid, forms a nice greasy shiny slick that easily wipes off everywhere by the end of school, seems o make my skin more oily which in turn worsens my acne

I used to use this product when i was at school but later discovered the joys of estee lauder double wear, which basically delivers what colourstay fails to - long lasting matte coverage. If i was broke colourstay is not a bad back up though. Just have to refresh it often.

Pros:

Medium to Full Coverage
Best looking foundation I've tried
If you're on the Regimen, blends well with BP

Cons:

Drys Quickly

The trick to wearing this foundation is to (a) apply it with a liquid foundation brush. You can get this type of brush at any drug store. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. If you try to apply this foundation with your hands, it will be a giant mess. I normally pour a little bit on the back of my right hand (I'm a lefty), and paint on my foundation with the brush, that way you have a perfect amount. The second trick (b) is to apply the foundation about five minutes after you've put on moisturizer. This keeps the foundation from setting in too quickly and lets you blend better. If you have severe acne, you can apply an additional layer for better coverage. I realize that heavy makeup is not conducive to acne treatment; however, there are just certain times when sufficient coverage is needed. Good luck!

Pros:

* Medium to full coverage
* Affordable
* Available at many stores
* Matte finish
* Lasts all day

Cons:

* Breaks me out
* Dries very fast
* No color match for me
* No pump on container

This was my holy grail foundation until I realized that it was causing breakouts on my skin. I don't use foundation very often, but when I do, I wear this stuff and at the end of the day when I take off my makeup I always get one or two new blemishes. The acne.org regimen keeps me clear and I only break out when using this foundation. It took me two years to figure that out haha. I would always blame the new breakouts on something else, like food or stress. One of my friends also used this makeup and developed cystic acne and told me not to use this and see if my face clears up. I'm so glad I listened to her and took her advice! Even when I take this makeup off very well with jojoba oil and my Clarisonic brush, it still breaks me out. What a bummer, because this is a great long-lasting, full coverage foundation. I now use Almay TLC liquid foundation and guess what? No breakouts! The Almay TLC foundation is only medium coverage though, but I would rather settle on that than have acne. If Revlon Colorstay foundation breaks you out but you still want full coverage, the Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo foundation gives even better coverage. That one broke me out too. If you are willing to go to medium coverage, the Almay TLC liquid foundation is worth trying. You can always use concealer and finishing powder to achieve more coverage.
