Pros:

It seems to have stopped any new acne from coming. I've been using it for 3 weeks.

Cons:

It has not cleared up the acne that was there in the first place.

I am on week three, and they say to give it six weeks..so hopefully the current acne will be gone.

Pros:

Nothing. Well, at least it didn't get worse...

Cons:

Nearly 3 weeks in, no difference whatsoever. Difficult to use in everyday life. Leaves an irritating film on the skin. Dries it out as well.

Fail.

Pros:

-It works to some extent
-Dry's Clear
-Doesn't Smell

Cons:

-Drys the skin badly
-Painfully slow results
-Can get in your bangs accidentally

My doctor prescribed this the first time i visited him. It seemed to have very good results at the start. After a week the results slowed down drastically. It is still working but at a unimaginably slow rate and my face at this rate will not be clear in the next four months. I was also taking tetracycline while using this and using a sensitive soap bar. I would not recommend this because it works slow and there are far more effective products your doctor could prescribe too you.

Pros:

i used Clindoxyl on it's own. i used Differin (another gel) on it's own. neither worked. my doctor put the two together and it's fabulous. i naturally have really bad skin but now it's clear.

Cons:

i'm not suggesting you use Clindoxyl, i'm suggesting you use Clindoxyl and Differin together. the combination dries out your skin REALLY BAD. find a good moisturiser, i'm still looking. also, very expensive. for me the two togerther was about 120$

-good for acne -dries out skin -very expensive for combination -prescriptions for both of them

Pros:

Works well for shrinking zits.

Cons:

Takes awhile for it to work.

Did not work for me, but the only Pro about it is it was free from my doctor (he gave me the whole entire sample box!)

Pros:

it helps with light to medarate acne. sometimes it can even make your skin glow. while on it you rarely get large pimples only a couple small ones

Cons:

doen't fully clear skin, bleaches clothes, runs out quickly, makes your skin very red and sometimes burns

If you have light acne and you just wan to zap away those couple zits it mostly works. You have to be patient and very consistent however if you want clearer looking skin its worth it. If you have a health plan, you should be able to afford it. Just try it out, can't permanently damage you.

Pros:

- helped control my acnee

Cons:

- At first made my skin REALLY flacky and red, and it burn a lot!
- expensive if you don't have insurance

My doctor prescribed this to me to use together with Differin, since Differin alone was not doing a good enough job. At first Clyndoxyl really burned my face, I had to take it off after putting it on. In the first months my face was really flaky, I had to apply a lot of moisturer more than 3-4 times a day to reduce de flakyness. After a few months my face got used to it and it stopped burning and flaking. It make my acnee better than when using Differin alone, but I still had blackheads on my nose and new breakeouts here and there, sometimes bad ones. Then after 3 years it just stopped working for me, I started breaking out a lot again, so I had to change medication (again...)

Pros:

- Not too sure yet as I just started it using it
- Price was good, insurance covered it for me

Cons:

- ITCHES
- Red patches

If your willing to withstand the itching and wait for the results, it might be a good product for you. And just to say, its itches ALOT

Pros:

Worked for awhile

Cons:

Stopped working

prior to this i was using Vichy normaderm WHICH WORKS FANTASTIC!!! I used this with differin for 2 weeks both of them at the same time at night. if worked than stopped working after the second week than i switched to differin at night and clindoxyl in the daytime acne stayed the same so i decided before GRAD PHOTO DAY to use only differin in the night time and i applied vichy cream in the morning and ir worked fabulously have been doing that ever since the problem is that differin when starting needs something like clindoxyl to balance it out but when the balancing is over it really just hurt me. I reccomend and dont reccomend it.
