Pros:

reduces size and redness of spots and clears them up in a couple of days
makes skin less greasy

Cons:

doesn't seem to prevent spots

I was prescribed duac by a dermatologist a couple of years ago and it works well at reducing the size and redness of spots - i notice the difference when i don't use it plus it makes my skin much less greasy .

Pros:

Really improved my severe teenage acne, removed excess oil.

Cons:

Not completely clear, yet, scabs left from previous spots

Even though it is not completely clear, the doctor said that it would be two months before it started giving results. This week I have been using it twice a day for two months and a dramatic difference - no excess oil and very few blemishes (no spots, just scabs from former ones). It has really boosted my self-esteem and stuff.

Pros:

I put it on the areas I was breaking out in and apart from a few here and there prevented any more acne. When put on current pimples it reduced inflammation quickly.

Cons:

Didn't really do much for the few white heads I have but I now use it with a salicylic acid exfoliant once every few nights so they're gone. Didn't reduce the red pigments that stayed for a while but again the exfoliant has started doing this. Also when I did put it on in large amounts I broke out in a minor rash for a few days.

Great product, my skin is almost flawless now apart from a few red marks yet to fade. Stick to putting it on at night so any redness or dryness is gone by the morning.

Pros:

Looking forward to using it to clear up skin.
DOES NOT HAVE TO REREFRIGERATED.
Good price with insurace.
Prevents future breakouts.

Cons:

Causes your skin to look pretty bad at the first week or two.
takes 3-4 weeks to look better.

This solution is most likely, depeding on if your allergic or not, going to clear up your skin. It will keep your skin clear and you shouldn't have any major problems again. If you start to, ask your phsycian. Unlike many of the previous reviews state, the Duac gel does NOT have to be refrigerated, that statement on the box was for pharmasist ONLY. Looking forward to seeing the end results.

Pros:

Works quickly ( afer approx a few weeks use )
Easy to apply and unscented

Cons:

Can cause a little dryness and itching on sensitive skin

This stuff is pretty good. I have suffered from moderate / severe acne on my face for several years now and have tried many antibiotics and topical lotions. None of these worked. Eventually i went onto Roaccutane which although worked, was a little over the top and powerful. Since my acne broke out acne I though I would give Duac a go. After only 2-3 weeks use I am already starting to see some progress.

Pros:

cleared up skin really good, but i have moderate acne ONLY on my chin and forehead, but seriously my chin is terrible! Horrible under the skin one, and duac really clears them up well for about a month...

Cons:

.... then it just stopped working, started to again get outbreaks everyday, now getting then on my cheeks, and on my temples?

I stopped using it because it stopped working, but because nothing else has worked, back on it again, because of so many good reviews! But i'm using the same tube from like 4 months ago? Dunno if its expired, so gonna go back for some more. Hope it works so much, and hope i get good results like the rest of you guys. Sucks that im only 13. ¬ ¬

Pros:

-Within weeks your acne will go down dramatically
-Not time consuming to use
-One bottle lasts you 7-8 months if you use it rationally (very small dabs on select areas).
-$25 with insurance for me
-My skin adapted to the initial extreme dryness and now I don't even need lotion (been using it for four years now)

Cons:

-Takes a couple weeks to really start working
-EXTREME dryness and stinging during the first weeks-months of usage, ESPECIALLY during winter months. Apply lotion as necessary.
-After prolonged use (1+ year), it will start to lose its effectiveness. Where at one point you may have been 100% acne free using the product, it will plateau you into 75% acne free. If you stop using it altogether you WILL get all of your acne back, so keep using it.

I've used this for four years now, from the beginning of high school to now the beginning of college. It has truly helped my self esteem so much that I don't really need to care about what little acne I have left. When I started using the product my forehead was like a minefield. Since the first few months I've been using it, my forehead has been smooth as silk. However, as I aged my cheeks and now my upper neck started becoming prone to acne. This product does keep the acne in those spots to a minimum but it has a hard time clearing it away completely. Nevertheless I still use it religiously. It must be noted that it is very possible for your skin to overcome the dryness after prolonged usage (years) so much that you won't even need lotion when you are using the product, even during winter months.

Pros:

Works really well, Only use Once daily, Stops redness and breakouts/ reduce pimple sizes and Clears blackheads and whiteheads

Cons:

Dries Skin has to use with moisturizer, Cost alot if you have no insurance, Takes time to work, Has to be kept in the fridge(bad for travelling)

Basically It worked really well for me though you cant avoid to have 1 or 2 pimples once and a while. I hate the way you cant travel with it or it goes off because it not in the fridge, but it really does work it wont be magic but it works I feel much more confident. Started to see the difference the 1st week but my acne was only light maybe medium but it says you will see difference on week 3 or 4 I really recommend trying this out,
