Pros:

A miracle treatment! Immediately began clearing up stubborn acne (within 2 days). I've been using it for about 2 weeks, and only have one pimple now! (I used to be completely covered!)

Cons:

The price is a little steep, but as I'm sure all of us know, there is absolutely no price to put on a clear face. I will pay whatever it takes for this cream if it keeps my face clear!

Unbelievable. I had a perfectly clear face through highschool, then started to get acne when I started college, around age 19. For the last 4 years I have had moderate to severe acne, and HATED my face and going out, etc. After trying everything, i.e. every combo of over the counter creams, multiple combos of antibiotics (did nothing), retin-a micro, numerous other perscription creams, pro-active, nature's cure..i had given up hope and decided I'd have to try accutane. I went to a new derm, and he completely changed by routine. I now wash face morning/night with Benzoyl Peroxide wash, apply Benzaclin morning/night, take Spironolactone 50mg/2 times day and changed by BC to YAZ rather than lo-ovral. It's all about finding the right combo of treatments, but if you feel like you've tried everything, try Benzaclin, it just may work, and make you wonder why no one gave you a perscription for it 4 years ago!

Pros:

for me this medicine works

Cons:

very expensive and if u dont use it that offten u have to keep it refrigerated.

This is by personal opininon, everyone has different skin types. Everytime that i feel a breakout coming just put a little dab on and the next day i notice that its gone. I love this medicine, but its hard to use it as directed becuase of dry skin. was on accutane but didnt use this becuse of that reason. i have also notice that it helps to fade some of the scars that i have from previous acne.

Pros:

Works really fast and does not cause irration like other benzoyl peroxide products may. Noticed results pretty fast. Great for mild acne

Cons:

Costly... you can pretty much get the same over the counter products which include the same ingredients for less money

Good product, you should go get it because it really works.

Pros:

Works fast. Makes my skin look and feel soft. Doesn't dry it out.

Cons:

... very expensive if insurance doesn't cover it. (but its worth it), also; it dries out my skin for the first few min. after application. (it goes away)

I used Duac for a long time, then stopped when I couldn't afford it anymore. I just got back on it about a week ago. I forgot how great it was. I have been back on it for about 2 days, and my skin looks 10 times better already. My poors look smaller, My acne is not so en flamed, there are no new pimples coming in, and my skin looks glowing (not greasy). I recommend this product to everyone. Works great.

Pros:

Cleared up my acne really quickly. I am in my thirties, and my acne had been getting progressively worse despite trying pretty much everything else.

Cons:

A slight 'gluey' consistency when first put on, but not too unpleasant. Remembering (or rather, forgetting!) to put it back in the fridge after using it.

I saw results in just a day or two, clearing up a really bad outbreak of deep spots. I've been using it for just under a month now, and my spots are almost gone and my skin feels really soft. I can even shave quickly and painlessly for the first time in years! This is the first product I've used to actually deliver clearer the skin that it promises, so I'll definitely be using it again from now on.

Pros:

no more breakouts - even during PMS

Cons:

I haven't had any ill effects and it's covered by my (crappy) insurance so no cons here.

I'm old enough to be getting wrinkles and I'm still dealing with breakouts. I consistently have light breakouts with some doozies that crop up with pms. I've been using duac for about five weeks and have been completely - *completely* - blemish free for at least two weeks.

Pros:

Cleared up about 95 percent of my skin. I use retin-a micro jel with it..to smoothen my skin..which omg is sooo soft and smooth!

Cons:

The first couple weeks, of using this product along with the retina JEL..Was very painful(stings, itchy). And I have the most sensitive skin. But I could see improvement, as did my friends/family.

Holly fractions! This stuff is expensive! If you pay 150 a month for 12 months, thats 1,800 PER year! So in 5 years, thats NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS! Oh, wait..I'm also taking Retin-a the jel, thats about another 120 dollars a month! So in five years, thats about 16,200$..pending they don't increase the price of these products. Is it worth it? If you have the money, or that good insurance..sure! If not???

Pros:

No more active pimples.

Cons:

Doesn't reduce appearance of scars, and its VERY expensive!

I used this in combination with retin A micro at night for a month now. And I took solodyne/one a day. My face still has many battle scars left. The duac + retin a micro helped control break outs, but my scars and blemishes remain. Also, this treatment makes your skin become sensitive, even if it wasn't before, so use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer. Don't use cleansers with strong active ingredients. This will likely make your face flare up. My friends thought I went on vacation, because my face became red! BOTTOM LINE- controls acne in conjunction with other medications. Expensive. Does little for blemishes.

Pros:

Clears spots effectively
Builds confidence!

Cons:

Dry/peeling skin
Dyes clothes and bed linen
Very expensive

I don't mind that the product dried out my face because it does contain Benzoyl peroxide which breaks downs protein in the skin structure, and at the end of the day it breaks down white/blackheads and unblocks glands, I can only suggest you are using too much if you are getting rashes and redness my doctor explained a small pea amount is needed for your whole face. I found a small amount on each spot really helped dry them out. I had clumps of spots covering my forehead, nose, side of my face and chin a few days ago but they have all been cleared and dried out, usually the infection spreads and I get no end of spots.
