Terrible Customer Service
Purchased the Plus just over 2 years ago. Right around the 2 year mark, the timer stopped working as did the outerbrush stop spinning. Didn't get around to contacting customer service for a couple of months though. However, when I did, they advised they would look into it and let me know if they would honour the warranty as "they are a company that backs there product". I was told that they would get back to me after they contacted management. 3 representatives later and still no answer. Request for a phone call from management, and still waiting on that as well (now about a month and a half)!! A lot of money for a product that stops working after 2 years and no company backing!!!

Not worth the money
I've had a clarisonic Mia for 2 years. I liked it and it worked fine for the first year, mind you I didnt use it everyday. I put it in the linen closet for about 8 months b/c we had been doing renovations on the bathrooms and I didn't want it to get dirty or messed up. When I got it back out to use it. I charged it and It was was making weird noises. I went to use it and it wouldn't stay on and it never ended up working. So, called clarisonic only to not have it be under warranty. And I pretty much have to bye a new one. They can do nothing. So for the money you spend and it doesn't even last that long. I will NEVER buy one or recommend one again. I'll go buy a $20 one off amazon:)). Then if it only last a year... No big deal.

Pros:

CLEAN FACE

Cons:

MAKES ACNE WORSE!!!!!! LIKE REALLY WORSE... EVEN WITH SENSITIVE BRUSH..

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT THINKING IT WOULD HELP MY FACE & MY ACNE.... TOTALLY DIDNT REALIZE IT WOULD MAKE IT WORSE. NOT GOOD FOR ANYONE WITH ACTIVE ACNE. IT WILL AGGRIVATE IT AND STRIP FACE OF NATURAL OILS CAUSING OVER PRODUCTION OF OIL=BIG TIME ACNE. MY ACNE GOT SO BAD AND CYSTIC I WAS SO EMBARRASSED TO EVEN GO TO WORK AND FACE MY CO-WORKERS LET ALONE GO OUT WITH MY FRIENDS. **GREAT PRODUCT JUST DONT USE ON ACTIVE ACNE!!!!** NOW THAT IM ON SPIRONOLACTONE, I USE IT TO EXFOLIATE ONCE EVERY SO OFTEN & THAT IS IT, MY ACNE HAS SINCE GONE DOWN & DOESNT LOOK SO HORRIFIC.

Pros:

Gets skin squeaky clean
Body brush attachment is nice

Cons:

Too harsh to use as recommended.
Made my light acne become moderate acne
Expensive!

I was so hopeful that this would change my oily, large pore skin but it made things worse! I used to get the occasional zit before using this. I use Clinique 3 step skin care and never considered my skin to have big problems except for large blackheads on my nose and pores that could be smaller. Clarisonic made me break out, but I was patient and figured this was the "purge" that other reviewers talked about. After months of using the Clarisonic as advised (once a day) more acne popping up, I finally broke down and went and got a professional facial. The woman said my skin was congested and to exfoliate more so then I started scrubbing even more with Clnique 7 Day scrub, at this point I had cut down on using the Clarisonic to every other day...still more acne! My acne led me to this site, I started the regiment two weeks ago and now I have zero acne, my blackheads on my nose are gone and my pores look smaller. I may go back to use the Clarisonic on a bi-weekly basis but not until I've done the regiment for a bit longer. The bristles definitely did not help my skin or acne and it's VERY expensive for a product that doesn't deliver. Definitely not something for someone with acne prone skin, in my opinion and seems to go against the whole point of the regiment. The body brush attachment, however, is very nice. Got rid of the chicken bumps on my arms and it's a nice treat. So far that is its only redeeming quality!

Pros:

very expensive

Cons:

nothing exceptional, not magical, a good scrub will do the same.

I dont think this is the greatest invention in this century, It doesnt do anything special, I dont see any dramatic results. In my opinion, a good scrub (like clinique deep scrub) is even better to empty my clogged pores and give me that super clean, glowing sensation. It is really expensive with very poor results. I will return my mia clarisonic. Dont expect a great improvement in your skin, its just a moderate exfoliator... thats it.

Pros:

feels like my skin is super clean. has somewhat evened out my skin tone/texture.

Cons:

have been broken out horrible ever since i started using it. feel as though blackheads are easier to see. very expensive.

i think that most people who take the plunge and purchase this expensive tool are like me, at their last resort. over the years, i have easily spent $1,000's on skin cleansers/treatments. the clarisonic (i thought) was the piece of the beautiful skin puzzle i had been missing since i hit puberty! it is very expensive and there have been rave reviews, so i decided to try it. too bad there isn't a money back guarantee! i have only been using it for a month, but i have horrible pimples on places on my face (and neck!) that i never had problems with before! the first few days i used it, i dried out really bad, but my nose and cheek pores were extremely noticeably smaller. i keep telling myself to give it time, but after the first week of use, i cleared up pretty nicely. now i'm back to having large, cystic like pimples (which i really never used to get). feeling as though some pesky blackheads on my forehead and nose, were just not going away with continued cleansing, i used a Biore pore strip. what came off on the strip FLOORED me! i have been using the pore strips for my very difficult and enlarged pores for 10+ years and have never gotten the amount of gunk as i did since i started using the Clarisonic. is it good that the clarisonic sort of brings the "gunk" more to the surface for the pore strips to take care of? i really don't think so. i read again and again how this thing cleans your skin like nothing else. so why does a pore strip have to finish the job? i'm torn about continuing to use and like some others...don't know where to go from here.

Pros:

leaves skin feeling nice and smooth

Cons:

I am breaking out more than I have since High School. The breakout is on my cheeks, where I have never had issues.

I have the Clarisonic Pro with both Normal and Gentle brushes. I have been using the gentle for twice a day with my Obagi Cleanser about 2 weeks. I will cut down to 3 times a week and see if that helps. So disappointed!!

Pros:

It cleans your face really well

Cons:

1. THE PRICE

I just bought the clarisonic today :0)! I used it once and so far my face feels great. I dont really notice a difference in appearance but it is only the first day, so I'm not worried. Also from the research I've done on the clarisonic it works over time.. I will update my skin results tomorrow and the next day an the next for you clarisonicless people! - Sam :0)

Pros:

Skin is less oily

Cons:

Very expensive; no decrease in breakout, hasn't cleared any blackheads or whiteheads

I've been using the Clarisonic for a little over a month, and I am so dissapointed, especially after reading so many wonderful reviews everywhere. I'm 34 years old, have very oily skin that breaks out regularly, and whiteheads in my cheeks and nose that have only gone away with oral antibiotics (Minocin). I was really hoping to see an improvement not so much in the breakouts, but in clearing the whiteheads and blackheads. No such luck. I was thinking of returning it but I have hopes that it may still work. I've used it religiously two times a day, both in the regular and gentler power settings, and with the sensitive and normal brush. My skin does feel cleaner and less oily after using it, but the oil comes back during the day and no benefit has come from the "deeper" cleaning.
