Pros:

I don't understand how people on this site only give the Claisonic week or two and then dish it! Even Rx Retin-A brings out the pimples a lot before it begins to clear up the skin. Why are people so short sighted?

Cons:

Only the price.

After giving the device time to work its wonders it lives up to the good everything everyone said about it.

Pros:

Feels great
Exfoliates gently
Can be used with any cleanser or scrub
Keeps pores clear
Helps blemishes
Waterproof
Doesn't require batteries
Sturdy (I've dropped it a few times in the shower)

Cons:

None!

I have been using Clarisonic for much over a year, and recently bought the MIA version for travel. I and my sister both love it. It exfoliates gently without having to use harsh scrubs ( even if you would like to use a scrub, you can apply the product to your face and go over it with the Clarisonic, which works so much better ) and keeps my pores very clear. After about a week of use you can see and feel the difference in your skin. It's so much smoother, and it really evens out skin tone. I plan to use it for as long as I can.

Pros:

It really works!

Cons:

None so far.

I was fighting with my skin, hormonal changes, winter, and constantly breaking out. I got the Clarisonic as a gift for Christmas. I use it every day, morning and night with the sensitive head. My rough, textured, and irritated skin is once again becoming soft and smooth. I tried everything to make the dryness go away, spent $200 on moisturizers alone...this was the answer. 80% less breakouts in just 2 weeks, dryness 95% gone. Perfect choice if you are a girl that wears makeup too! P.S. The body brush is amazing if used with a scrub!

Pros:

leaves skin feeling nice and smooth

Cons:

I am breaking out more than I have since High School. The breakout is on my cheeks, where I have never had issues.

I have the Clarisonic Pro with both Normal and Gentle brushes. I have been using the gentle for twice a day with my Obagi Cleanser about 2 weeks. I will cut down to 3 times a week and see if that helps. So disappointed!!

Pros:

Awesome!! My face has never felt cleaner!!

Cons:

The only con I think the clarisonic has is it's price, very expensive but worth every penny.

I have always suffered from acne and dry skin patches around my cheeks and chin. The 1st 1-2 months I used the clarisonic I continued to breakout, I think this was because everything deep down was being brought to the surface. I have now used the clarisonic for 4months and my skin looks GREAT! No dryness, breakouts every now and again thank you hormones:) It also depends on your cleanser I use Effaclar gel along with Clinique lotion and bareminerals makeup. Careful with all the acne cleansers sometimes it can be too much for your skin and cause you to breakout even more.

Worth the Money

Pros:

skin feels amazing
super easy to use
clears up scarring

Cons:

initial cost for device and brushes

I'm in my late 20's (almost 30) and have struggled with acne since middle school. I have tried just about everything to get rid of my bad skin, and spent a lot of money doing so. My problem is that I will only get one or two bumps at a time, but they will leave horrible red scars for months afterwards. So even when my face was totally clear, I didn't feel comfortable going anywhere without makeup. I tried a million scrubs and peels, but nothing has worked as well as the Mia 2 with the acne brushes. I have been using the brush for about a month, and it's a remarkable difference. Previous scars are fading fast, and new blemishes are fewer and dissapear faster. My skin feels great, I use less makeup, and my face never hurts like it did with the other acne treatments. I highly recommend the initial investment in the Mia and the brushes. It seems expensive up-front, but going back and thinking about all the money I've spent on dermatologist appointments, Proactiv, high-end skin care at Sephora, and drugstore products, this is totally worth it.

Pros:

-REALLY cleans deep down into pores
-whatever you put on after using it soaks into your skin a hell of a lot better
-fun and easy to use
-can be used with any type of cleanser
-completely waterproof
-rechargeable

Cons:

-leaves skin needing A LOT more moisture (for me at least)

For me, I have the very common oily/combination skin, so my T-zone is extremely oily all of the time and my cheeks are extremely dry. I also have the Clarisonic Mia (yes, there are 2 different types). My face decided to freak out on me after I started using this because it cleans so deeply down into the pores. So I started slapping on loads of moisturizer and it has gotten better. I also only use face wash (with no acne medications in it) and moisturizer, so I no longer put medications on my face just as an experiment. My recommendation to you: if you buy this, ease into using it (duh) and make sure that you follow your routine (whatever it may be) religiously. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN.

Pros:

reduces acne
helps turnover skin

Cons:

having to replace the brush every few months can be costly

i am asian and i read on a japanese site that it is best to really foam up your cleanser, so that it works as a cushion btwn your skin and the brush. otherwise the brush will irritate the skin. i had adult acne for a while and using the deep pore brush changed my life. i was free of acne in a month. maybe not for everyone...but worked for me!

Pros:

Works well on evening skin tone and getting rid of milia.

Allows better absorption of facial products

Cons:

Expensive price for a skin care brush but it is cheaper than going to a spa everyday.

I used to have moderate acne with milia so my skin was uneven, blotchy and scarred. My dermatologist recommended that I go a Differin treatment and use the clarisonic skin care brush; which has dramatically improved my skin. The clarisonic works well to absorb my facial products and allows me to get a better cleansing without being too rough on my face. Clarisonic is so easy to use my two sisters even ordered ones for themselves. It is a bit pricey though so look for sales on their regular website.

Pros:

This and accutane have been the only things to completely clear up my face. It gets deep down into the pores, and my skin hasn't felt this soft since I was a little girl! No more blackheads, or those annoying clogged pores on my chin!

Cons:

It is very expensive, but trust me, it's worth it. Can be overdrying if you are using too strong of a brush head or using it for too long.

This device is the only thing that has truly cleared up my face. I actually GLOW now. Every now and then I do get hormonal acne, but it is gone in 1-2 days when using this.
