Pros:

-clears acne
-makes skin softer
-evens out texture

Cons:

-changing brush head every 3 months
-can't be used alone

I have been using the clarisonic for about 5 years now. It has helped clear up my skin quite a bit! Although I must say that it is only one part of my skincare regimen. I found that my skin has become less oily and using a natural cleanser instead of something like Proactiv has been beneficial for my skin. Diet and drinking alot of water generally have helped improve my skins appearance as well. The main point is that a prospective buyer shouldnt expect ONLY the clarisonic to solve their acne problems, there are other important things that will lead to clear skin too.

Pros:

Feels great
Has a self timer
Customer service is A+

Cons:

It spread my acne! I went from having just a simple zit to having 10. My dermatologist said this was to blame. She simply said that it spreads acne. That was enough for me to put it away for good!

I read all the reviews and I'm super bummed it didn't work for me like the others. Like I said, it spread my acne horribly. My suggestion is, don't use it if you are broken out! But if you are on this website, you are obviously suffering from acne so just be careful with it.

Pros:

Deep Cleaning, waterproof

Cons:

I have sensitive, light skin. The Clarisonic made me break out TERRIBLY for over a month, I guess my skin was purging but it was really bad. I have to go see a dermatologist as I have painful acne lesions from the Clarisonic irritating my skin.

BE CAREFUL using this if you have sensitive skin like me. You have a disturbed skin barrier and any irritation like this brush (even though it claims to be gentle) is bad for you. I wanted to write this review to say regular, gentle cleansing is enough you don't need the brush pulling your skin. Because of the Clarisonic I have to go to the Dermatologist

Pros:

Shrinks Pores, Shrinks Blackheads, Improves Skin Tone, Easy To Use

Cons:

Expensive

I've done it all, including Accutane (twice). This is the first thing I've done - besides getting facials - that shrinks pores and blackheads. The only difference is, they don't come back 3 days later, like they do after a facial. $200 is a small price to pay for what amounts to a daily facial. I've been using it for over 2 months, and my skin just keeps getting better. No major breakouts, smaller, clearer pores, better texture - what's not to like? One word of advice - avoid the cleanser which ships with the product. It's full of Nonoxynol-9, which could grow whiteheads on a stone. I use a very mildly abrasive glycolic cleanser with the brush, which goes against the manufacturer's recommendations (I press very gently).

GREAT investment
I literally swear by my clairsonic Mia 2, it's a great investment. I honestly hated it at first because I noticed more break outs on my face and my skin looked down right angry.. I already had the clairsonic in its original packaging with my receipt in hand but after talking to my friend she said the same thing happened to her but after about a month her face started to clear (it really did). I think it breaks some people out at first because it's bringing all the gunk up to the surface. After using my clairsonic x2 daily for two months my skin is noticeably clear and I have clairsonic to thank for that! * note * I'm currently using Neutrogena face wipes to take off my makeup, then I'm using my damitri James Skinn A.M cleanser with my clairsonic x2 daily. I also use the damitri James exfoliater 2x a week and his watermelon hydrating mask 1x a week and his moisturizer daily.

How bad was your skin to begin with?

Skin Transformer

Pros:

Fun to use
helps hyperpigmentation
gets rid of acne

Cons:

expensive

The clarisonic has changed my life and made my skin so much better. I began using it in December of 2012 when my skin was moderately severe and now 8 months later my acne is very mild. My skin used to be very bumpy with hyperpigmentation on my cheeks and it seemed like I was having a never ending breakout. My skin is now super smooth, even toned and my breakouts are only around that time of the month.

Pros:

Leaves skin smooth
Reduces oil
Leaves skin glowing
Reduces appearance of Acne scars
Skin feels refreshed
Boosts self-confidence
Tightens skin

Cons:

None

I got the Mia about a week ago and I immediately saw and felt results after my first use. It is definitely worth the money! After having spent hundreds of dollars on different products that didn't have an effect on my skin I decided to spend the money and I am so happy I did. If you use this product correctly (don't over use or press too hard) this product will work for you too. I use mine before bed every other night and switch between the Hydro-cleanser that came with it and Clinique's foaming acne cleanser. I have cystic acne and after the 3rd-4th use I noticed they were starting to get smaller and became less sensitive to the touch. I haven't noticed a decrease in pore size yet but I feel confident that after some time it will happen. If You are hesitant about purchasing this product and are tired of spending tons of money on cleansers, etc. I highly recommend that you buy this, it is more than worth the money and your skin will appreciate it.

Pros:

+ Cleans very well
+ Gets some dead skin off
+ Smoother skin

Cons:

+ Acne isnt improved
+ Price

i have been using the clarisonic for close to a year on and off. I notice when i use it my skin has a glow to it and is much smoother it also helps fade some red marks i guess from exfoilation and increased product absorbtion. I still have some blackheads and those tiny clogged pore bumps but nowhere near before.

I'm in love with this product
For a while I've been meaning to write a review for the Clarisonic. About two years ago my sister got the Mia 2 for her birthday, she has horrible issues with acne. It seemed to be working for her and I really wanted to try it out. So she let me borrow it; I bought my own Clarisonic brush, the "delicate skin one" becuase my skin is very thin and pale and I was worried it might leave reddness on my face. I loved it! I was using it more than she was. I will say, I wasn't really using the second speed on the brush, I didn't really see a reason for it, and it was too vicous for my skin. Eventually, my mom got on board with the whole idea, and was able to find a Claisonic on sale. She got one for me and one for her, the Mia 1 just the one speed model. I'm loving it, and I've found the gentler speed on the original allows me to use different brush heads, the Mia 2 was just too powerful for me I guess. This may not be what one might call a "miracle product" becuase you won't see changes overnight, but over a two week period, I've noticed less blackheads and keratin deposits on my nose. My skin has also become a lot softer and even. Yes, this product is pretty pricey but if your a money saving guru like my mom you might be able to find it for a reasonable price. She got ours on black friday for $50 dollars a piece at an outlet mall. Which is an insanely good deal! I think when she got my sister's it was only $85. If you're on a budget look out for those price drops, cause you can get lucky. All in all, I highly suggest this product, it's worked well for me and my family, it may be pricey but, it's worth it.

Pros:

Deep clean
Glowing Skin
Can use it in the shower (waterproof)
Magnetic charger
Can use on back, too

Cons:

Charge runs out somewhat quickly
Have to change the brush head every few months ($25)
May have initial breakouts within first week, but they clear up

I ordered the Clarisonic Mia for myself for my 29th birthday after a friend highly recommended it. Within a week my skin was so smooth! Baby soft! It cleared up the majority of my acne and left my skin glowing. I use it in the morning and at night. As I workout at least an hour, sometimes two, every day, my upper back was also starting to breakout, so I began using it there, too, and my back cleared up within 2 days! Incredible!
