Skin Transformer

Pros:

Fun to use
helps hyperpigmentation
gets rid of acne

Cons:

expensive

The clarisonic has changed my life and made my skin so much better. I began using it in December of 2012 when my skin was moderately severe and now 8 months later my acne is very mild. My skin used to be very bumpy with hyperpigmentation on my cheeks and it seemed like I was having a never ending breakout. My skin is now super smooth, even toned and my breakouts are only around that time of the month.

Cons:

None

I got the Mia about a week ago and I immediately saw and felt results after my first use. It is definitely worth the money! After having spent hundreds of dollars on different products that didn't have an effect on my skin I decided to spend the money and I am so happy I did. If you use this product correctly (don't over use or press too hard) this product will work for you too. I use mine before bed every other night and switch between the Hydro-cleanser that came with it and Clinique's foaming acne cleanser. I have cystic acne and after the 3rd-4th use I noticed they were starting to get smaller and became less sensitive to the touch. I haven't noticed a decrease in pore size yet but I feel confident that after some time it will happen. If You are hesitant about purchasing this product and are tired of spending tons of money on cleansers, etc. I highly recommend that you buy this, it is more than worth the money and your skin will appreciate it.

I'm in love with this product
For a while I've been meaning to write a review for the Clarisonic. About two years ago my sister got the Mia 2 for her birthday, she has horrible issues with acne. It seemed to be working for her and I really wanted to try it out. So she let me borrow it; I bought my own Clarisonic brush, the "delicate skin one" becuase my skin is very thin and pale and I was worried it might leave reddness on my face. I loved it! I was using it more than she was. I will say, I wasn't really using the second speed on the brush, I didn't really see a reason for it, and it was too vicous for my skin. Eventually, my mom got on board with the whole idea, and was able to find a Claisonic on sale. She got one for me and one for her, the Mia 1 just the one speed model. I'm loving it, and I've found the gentler speed on the original allows me to use different brush heads, the Mia 2 was just too powerful for me I guess. This may not be what one might call a "miracle product" becuase you won't see changes overnight, but over a two week period, I've noticed less blackheads and keratin deposits on my nose. My skin has also become a lot softer and even. Yes, this product is pretty pricey but if your a money saving guru like my mom you might be able to find it for a reasonable price. She got ours on black friday for $50 dollars a piece at an outlet mall. Which is an insanely good deal! I think when she got my sister's it was only $85. If you're on a budget look out for those price drops, cause you can get lucky. All in all, I highly suggest this product, it's worked well for me and my family, it may be pricey but, it's worth it.

Pros:

Deep clean
Glowing Skin
Can use it in the shower (waterproof)
Magnetic charger
Can use on back, too

Cons:

Charge runs out somewhat quickly
Have to change the brush head every few months ($25)
May have initial breakouts within first week, but they clear up

I ordered the Clarisonic Mia for myself for my 29th birthday after a friend highly recommended it. Within a week my skin was so smooth! Baby soft! It cleared up the majority of my acne and left my skin glowing. I use it in the morning and at night. As I workout at least an hour, sometimes two, every day, my upper back was also starting to breakout, so I began using it there, too, and my back cleared up within 2 days! Incredible!

Pros:

I don't understand how people on this site only give the Claisonic week or two and then dish it! Even Rx Retin-A brings out the pimples a lot before it begins to clear up the skin. Why are people so short sighted?

Cons:

Only the price.

After giving the device time to work its wonders it lives up to the good everything everyone said about it.

Pros:

Feels great
Exfoliates gently
Can be used with any cleanser or scrub
Keeps pores clear
Helps blemishes
Waterproof
Doesn't require batteries
Sturdy (I've dropped it a few times in the shower)

Cons:

None!

I have been using Clarisonic for much over a year, and recently bought the MIA version for travel. I and my sister both love it. It exfoliates gently without having to use harsh scrubs ( even if you would like to use a scrub, you can apply the product to your face and go over it with the Clarisonic, which works so much better ) and keeps my pores very clear. After about a week of use you can see and feel the difference in your skin. It's so much smoother, and it really evens out skin tone. I plan to use it for as long as I can.

Pros:

It really works!

Cons:

None so far.

I was fighting with my skin, hormonal changes, winter, and constantly breaking out. I got the Clarisonic as a gift for Christmas. I use it every day, morning and night with the sensitive head. My rough, textured, and irritated skin is once again becoming soft and smooth. I tried everything to make the dryness go away, spent $200 on moisturizers alone...this was the answer. 80% less breakouts in just 2 weeks, dryness 95% gone. Perfect choice if you are a girl that wears makeup too! P.S. The body brush is amazing if used with a scrub!

Worth the Money

Pros:

skin feels amazing
super easy to use
clears up scarring

Cons:

initial cost for device and brushes

I'm in my late 20's (almost 30) and have struggled with acne since middle school. I have tried just about everything to get rid of my bad skin, and spent a lot of money doing so. My problem is that I will only get one or two bumps at a time, but they will leave horrible red scars for months afterwards. So even when my face was totally clear, I didn't feel comfortable going anywhere without makeup. I tried a million scrubs and peels, but nothing has worked as well as the Mia 2 with the acne brushes. I have been using the brush for about a month, and it's a remarkable difference. Previous scars are fading fast, and new blemishes are fewer and dissapear faster. My skin feels great, I use less makeup, and my face never hurts like it did with the other acne treatments. I highly recommend the initial investment in the Mia and the brushes. It seems expensive up-front, but going back and thinking about all the money I've spent on dermatologist appointments, Proactiv, high-end skin care at Sephora, and drugstore products, this is totally worth it.

Pros:

reduces acne
helps turnover skin

Cons:

having to replace the brush every few months can be costly

i am asian and i read on a japanese site that it is best to really foam up your cleanser, so that it works as a cushion btwn your skin and the brush. otherwise the brush will irritate the skin. i had adult acne for a while and using the deep pore brush changed my life. i was free of acne in a month. maybe not for everyone...but worked for me!

Pros:

Works well on evening skin tone and getting rid of milia.

Allows better absorption of facial products

Cons:

Expensive price for a skin care brush but it is cheaper than going to a spa everyday.

I used to have moderate acne with milia so my skin was uneven, blotchy and scarred. My dermatologist recommended that I go a Differin treatment and use the clarisonic skin care brush; which has dramatically improved my skin. The clarisonic works well to absorb my facial products and allows me to get a better cleansing without being too rough on my face. Clarisonic is so easy to use my two sisters even ordered ones for themselves. It is a bit pricey though so look for sales on their regular website.
