Pros:

Not Sure

Cons:

burns, makes skin rough

I used this method a LoNG time ago. I have mild acne but not from this! I remeber being soo upset after using this. my skin was so rough after only 1 use which I left on for only about 5 minutes. It turned my whole forhead which is my problem area where I applied it turned into a dark shade rough brown. It was wiered looking with my light skin tone with a perfect line over my eyebrows a totally different shade. I also saw no improvement but only used 1 time bcuz of the terrible like rash it lft. My skin got sensetive and peeled for a while. I gave 2 stars bcuz I only used 1 time, so I'm still not sure if it would have worked. I rlly rathered the acne than the hidious rash which is gone now but was agony.

Pros:

-cheap
-easy to make
-stayed on well enough

Cons:

-made skin feel grainy
-skin not noticeably softer

I would recommend this if used sparingly. I left the mask on for about 5-10 minutes, and it seemed to be doing its work. I washed it off with a soft washcloth and warm water. My skin felt tight and grainy, not something enjoyable! If you want your skin to be wonderfully hydrated and clear, I would recommend using Noxzema every day, as well as a light moisturizer.

Pros:

Makes skin feel nice and smooth, cheap, easy.

Cons:

Did not help with breakouts

I used this product for a few weeks. I made a paste out of baking soda and water and applied it to my skin and left it on for about 10-15 minutes, then very gently rinsed it off. It did leave my skin feeling nice afterwords, very soft and smooth. But this did not seem to help my acne at all.

Pros:

Brightens Skin
Exfoliates Well

Cons:

SENSITIVE SKIN BEWARE
Broke Me Out In Tiny Red Dots All Over My Face! Which Makes My Acne Appear 20X Worse :/

I was really hoping that this would work, but it did nothing for me but cause more problems. I think to use this method you'd better have pretty hefty skin it is definity not a great option for someone with sensitive skin! I wouldn't say that its a horrible method I just think it probably only works on people who do not have sensitive skin. So try it if you have normal skin, but for my fellow sensitive skinned people beware. :O

Pros:

Exfoliates, Smoothed skin

Cons:

Didn't work, messy

I mixed the baking soda with honey and applied it to my face for 45 minutes as I sat in the tub. It was a good thing I was in the tub because some dripped off as the baking soda started to work. In the end, it left my skin smooth, it was very relaxing and didn't hurt because of the honey, but it didn't tone down redness or clear my problem areas. I would recommend it for a weekly mask but not a solution to your acne problems.

Pros:

It made my skin smooth, and got rid of breakouts the first week I used it

Cons:

Stings, redness, dryness, caused me to really breakout

When I first started using it it seemed like I finally found the solution to my acne problems. My skin was the smoothest it had ever been and the pimples I started faded really fast. I felt like a million bucks. I used it every night. I would make a paste with it and rub on my face for about a minute and rinse it off. I was a little careless with it though. I found I had not completely rinsed it off some mornings. Also, at this time I began taking vitamin D, (2000 iu). Then the second week rolled around. I noticed my skin was starting to get bumpy around my temples and on my forehead. Initially I did not think much of, but then It started to really breakout. It has been the worse breakout I have had in a long. Usually, I breakout with one our two pimples in areas, but now I breakout in clusters of small pimples that. These areas have become very rough and blotchy. I have stopped using the baking but not the vitamin D. It seems like it is getting a little better.
