great
don't use it solely, mix it with something like your cleansing gel. Don't use it on your active acne because it will peel off the skin above the acne and make it spread. I use this on my nose to clear up blackheads and pores. I got 0 blackheads and pores right now it is just miracle.

Pros:

Very cheap
Gets rid of dead skin
Can be used as a scrub OR it can be used as a mask and then scrub off when dry
Can be used overnight as a spot treatment when mixed into a paste

Cons:

Doesn't do anything for blackheads on nose

I overall liked Baking Soda as a acne fighter. However, DO NOT use with lemons. I mixed this with lemons and a very strange smell occured so I researched it and apparently lemon and baking soda cause a chemical reaction so I advise you do use the lemon as a toner AFTER you wash off the baking soda if you plan on using both products.

Pros:

-Felt so fresh and clean on my face!
-Great, yet gentle exfoliant
-Inexpensive and easy to use
-Reduced redness

Cons:

None

I love it! I've had acne scars for a year now that have faded but just won't go away. My acne is actually very light. I only get 1 or 2 pimples at a time and they dry up and go away quickly. But every time I get a pimple, I scar. I don't pick at my face. I don't pop them. But I ALWAYS scar. So, I've done research and have read that baking soda can help fade acne scars by exfoliating dead skin cells away and revealing new skin underneath. I've not yet seen results as I have only used it once but I will continue to use this definitely. Here's what I did: 1 teaspoon baking soda diluted by 1 teaspoon water and a small amount of olive oil. I wet my face with warm water to open up pores then pat my face ALMOST dry. After exfoliating with baking soda mixture, I rinsed thoroughly, dried my face with a CLEAN towel and used cotton balls to swab on apple cider vinegar[to keep my skin's pH levels balanced] Then rinsed my face with COLD water to close pores My face feels great now! It's very smooth and soft and feels SO CLEAN. I highly recommend this!!

Pros:

I have mild acne (5-7 pimples at a time) and within 3 or 4 washes, this completly cleared my face and i have not broken out since! It is CHEAP and doesnt contain harsh ingredients that irritate my VERY sensitive skin. My pores have gotten noticably smaller and my skin shines & looks great!

Cons:

If you use this more than once a day, or with other products your skin will probably dry out. Also, if you have really sensitive skin and leave the baking soda on for a long time it may sting, but nothing remotley unbearable.

I beleive this is the most effective thing I have ever used and its dirt cheap!

Pros:

whiteheads are GONE!

Cons:

Skin gets extremely tight
Very dry

I used it for a day, because I had whiteheads on my cheeks and around my mouth. I made a paste out of it and left it on my face for about 10 minutes, after that I washed it off, put on some cream and BAM they were GONE! :D

Pros:

clears up acne
fades scars
Makes skin soft and even

Cons:

can sting a little

I've been using baking soda to treat my acne since I was 15. I'm 20 now, and I still use it as a face mask once a week. I just mix baking soda with enough water to make a paste, apply it to my face, and let it dry on. Once it's dry I simply rinse it off and voila! my skin is noticeably softer and more even. I've found that keeping up the routine is a must for me, though. I don't really have acne now, other than the occasional whitehead, but if I stop for even a couple of weeks I start to break out again.

Pros:

-Reduces acne
-Lightens scars

Cons:

-Excessive drying of skin
-Used too much, can be harmful to skin

Hii x] Used this every morning. Apply water to make a paste and leave on only for about two minutes as skin will become very dry! This is great but if used too often can be quite harmful!

Pros:

Helps clear zits from skin. I have only used this a couple of days but I feel I am already noticing a difference in my skin.

Cons:

Stings a little, but I think its worth it (and it doesnt sting too badly).

Make sure you use this one your face for only a couple of minutes, otherwise your face will get very red and your skin might react.

Good in moderation, gets rid of blackheads, but burned my face and will post an update
At first, it was great. all of my many blackheads were gone. I used this stuff as a mask, mixing it with my mask acne treatment. I left it on overnight once for about 5 hours and all was well. However, when I accidentally left it on for like 10 hours because I fell asleep with it on my face and I didn't have any initiative to wake up early, it left my skin extremely dry and irritate with a rash like/extra dry like feeling on my skin. But this isn't like some terrible horrible burn, its only something I notice because it is my face. Do not judge, I really didn't mean to leave it on my skin for that long. I have tried to find out what will happen to my face because of this, but I have found no answers online. no one has said anything about the aftermath of a baking soda burn. So if I can, I will post in update to see how this all plays out. If my face heals, I will probably change my ratings to 5-stars because it DID get rid of my blackheads, and I had ALOT of them. little blackheads were literally taking over my face.. but within 3 days this product cleared all of them up, which I haven't been able to do for months. USE IN MODERATION! update: skin healed :) good as new but with less pimples.

You don't need it overnight. Just gently exfoliate your face for 2 minutes once or twice a week. You should have nice results soon. But do not exfoliate aggressively. Understand that the skin is a delicate though resilient system, which is constantly being exposed to hazardous elements and conditions. Give your skin time to adapt and heal.
