Pros:

-Cheap!
-Has reduced oily skin
-Reduces redness
-Smooth Skin

Cons:

-Messy

I have been using harsh topicals on my skin for a while now and this seems to help better than any of them. I use it as a mask a few nights a week and also mix it with my gentle face wash. Scrub gently though. I absolutely love this stuffffff :) :)

Pros:

- Face felt smoother, even after FIRST use
- Starts working immediately
- Gave face a brighter glow
- Red/brown spots/temporary scars have faded considerably after ONE week!
- Dried up new pimples fast
- Skin is less oily

Cons:

- You have to be VERY careful to not be too rough
- Can be a tad messy (Because it doesn't come in a tube, you can't keep it in the shower, or get the box wet. And you need to keep a small bowl in your bathroom to make the mixture)

I just started this one week ago, and I cannot believe the difference! My acne is light (I mostly have little bumps on my forehead, and chin. And randomly get big painful pimples on my cheeks) I just had a flare up, and had one big zit, and two red spots from pimples the week before. I VERY gently scrub in circles for about a minute, rise off, then swipe Apple Cider Vinegar over my face and rinse it off with cold water. At night, I wash my face with a facial cleanser, dab baking soda paste on my blemishes, wait a minute, rise off with cold water, then go to bed. After one week, my red spots have faded dramatically, and my pimple dried up in two days, and it's on it's way to recovery! TRY IT!

Pros:

It is cheap, and if used properly, is effective without over-drying.

Cons:

None when used in moderation.

I wanted to switch to a milder, non-abrasive facial cleanser. Cetaphil was recommended to me, and it is great except that it doesn't take off makeup well at all. A friend suggested dashing a small bit of baking soda into my hand and mixing it with the cleanser. This works wonderfully! I don't scrub, and I don't leave this on as a mask. I just work the cleanser gently onto my face and neck for about 10-15 seconds and then rinse. I follow this up with a very light application of Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner. Since adding the baking soda and using this routine twice a day, my skin has cleared up beautifully and pretty much stayed that way. My face is also left with a smooth, soft texture, and is never dried out.

when I run out of meds
this works for me when I have a lot of breakouts. The yellow thing on my zit comes off easily which helps me a lot. it tightens my pores and makes my skin feels smoother. What I like more about this is when I run out of meds, I can get some of this just in our kitchen.

Pros:

Makes skin soft
Clears blackheads and whiteheads
Fades red marks a lot!!!!!
Smooths skin :)

Cons:

Leaves skin a little dry but thats ok because it peels away the pimples and dead skin :D

IT IS THE BEST THING I'VE TRIED!! IT WORKS!!!! Im 14 and I developed acne halfway through year 7, I'm going into year 9 this year (in a month) and I will hopefully be clear by then!! I have a reaaallllyyy inflamed chin, it's like nothing I have ever seen before on other acne victims... I have red marks on both sides around my mouth and all over my forehead.... I previously tried clean and clear, neutrogena and all the other crap that didn't work for me, it made me break out even more.. I'd come home from school with 10 new pimples!!! :( i started cleansing my face woth lemon and sugar and that worked well. It completely stopped me breaking out!!! I tried other things to get rid of my red marks but I never continued with something long enough to see results. But try Baking Soda! It has to be left on long enough for results, i pour a small mountain in the middle of my palm then mix a few drops of water in it then spread it over my face and went to sleep. The next morning my skin had DEFINITELY improved!!!!! OMFG! I use braggs apple cider vinegar as a toner and I will most definitely keep this regime going (: good luck

Pros:

*makes skin extremely soft
*really helped with the large pores on my face (not sure if it's shrinking them as much as cleaning them better so they aren't so obvious)
*NOTICEABLE Pimple reduction in less than a week of using
*Skin LOOKS brighter and smoother
*Makeup goes on MUCH easier due to smoothness

Cons:

*Messy a little bit to put on but really who cares if its clearing up zits

I totally recommend this! I use the cleanser provided by Daniel OR Cetaphil whichever I have handy, sprinkle a little baking soda in my hand, then squeeze two pumps of cleanser on top in the evenings while taking a shower and wash my face gently focusing on my cheeks and sides of my face, (My problem areas). I rinse really well immediately after washing and can feel the softness IMMEDIATELY. My skin FEELS and LOOKS better as soon as I get out. To close up my pores, I do a follow-up rinse with FREEZING cold water right after, then moisturize using CETAPHIL advanced moisture face lotion. AWESOME RESULTS!!!

Pros:

Gets rid of forming pimples, acne, scars.

Cons:

A bit dry afterwards, but all you need is to moisturize.

I had a really big pimple that was forming on my chin and I made a paste of baking soda, I kept it on until it dried out and I could already tell it was smaller. Two days later it was completely gone! This is really good.

Pros:

clean, matte look
really works

Cons:

tingling/burning feeling

I don't have very bad acne, just some bumps on my skin that aren't too visible but very annoying. This was so good, my skin felt really smooth and even almost instantaneously. :)
