-cleared acne

Cons:

I tried this for the first time today, cleared all my blackheads and reduced the redness of my acne :) I made a thick paste using baking soda and water, then added some lemon juice (just from a small slice) and some olive oil. It's amazing!

I use the baking soda as a scrub three times a week mixed in with y usual cleanser. At first i used it only once a week but when i realised that ky acne started getting better I thought I would try using it three times and now my acne is tons better, it has gone from moderate bordering severe to light and I am v happy with that! Try giving it a go but do not scrub too hard!

Pros:

Smooth as silk
Gets rid of acne FAST!!!!!!!!!!
Glowing skin!!!!!!
It cleans my guinea pig's feet painlessly!

Cons:

Smells funny...
BURNS!!!!!!!!!!!

AWESOME!!!!! It worked like instantly! Even though i didnt have much acne, it work fantastic! I also added a little honey because it is also a natural, multi purpose acne medicine and i use both. I wish you could see my skin, it is literally glowing!!!!!!!! You can also add other stuff or use other stuff afterwards. I put on tea tree oil after. Try putting on lotion after and store it in a little container ( I used a bottlecap!) and apply with a popsicle stick. (unused. if you have a used one the high fructose sugar could break you out.)

Pros:

BEST PRODUCT I'VE EVER USED: Clear Skin, Tighter Pores, Smoother & Softer complexion, no acne (blackheads, whiteheads, pimples), daily oil control... IT'S AMAZING!

Cons:

overuse causes dryness without a good moisturizer or face wash.

My routine is done after I take my shower when my face is oiliest from all the products I use in my hair. 1. I Wet my face and put about a tablespoon of Baking Soda in my hand then scrub in small circles all over. I give it a good massage to allow the Baking Soda to exfoliate my skin. 2. I then rinse off the Baking Soda using my regular daily face wash. I don't have major acne, but I do breakout when triggered, i.e., stress, too much oil, menstruation cycle. So I use a simple Neutrogena wash which is only medicated 0.5% salicylic acid. 3. After the rinsing & drying off, I use a cut lime and rub a thin layer of the juice on my skin. I use it like an astringent. 4. After the lime juice has dried, I use my oil-free moisturizer and then apply my makeup. OVERALL, I'M AMAZED! I'VE SPENT SO MUCH MONEY ON SKIN PRODUCTS I WISH I HAD FOUND THIS IN HIGH SCHOOL WHEN I WAS SUFFERING FROM ACNE. THE BEST PRODUCT I'VE COME ACROSS AND WHO KNEW IT WAS JUST IN MY HOUSE THE

Pros:

Incredibly effective at exfoliating dead skin cells, very inexpensive, helps prevent breakouts in the long run.

Cons:

Can be irritating to your skin before your skin gets used to it. At first, exfoliating exposes actual skin underneath dead skin cells which can be a little disconcerting (acne marks are more obvious), but stick with it and you'll see amazing benefits

Helped me turn the tide in my battle against acne. I went from getting 4-5 pimples on my face everyday to getting one or sometimes none and my face is still improving. How to use it: Mix it with warm water to form a paste and GENTLY rub onto your face. Then wash off. Use every other day if possible. What to expect: The first few times you use it, wash the baking soda paste off almost immediately after you apply it (best to do this while in the shower) because it'll take your skin awhile to get used to it. Do this at night so the burning and redness will go away completely by the time you wake up. After a few uses you can apply it and leave it on for about 30 minutes or as tolerated while it dries for more benefit I think this mainly works by effectively exfoliating dead skins cells from the face (a major cause of clogged pores). Keep with it and you will see less breakouts and your skin will start to clear up beautifully in a few weeks.

Amazing Results
I've had severe back acne for many many months. It made me unconfident and feeling worthless. I couldn't wear tank tops and bikinis. I tried many different solutions and after countless hours of research I started using a bicarbonate and water solution. I would put it all over my back and leave it will I slept. When Ai went to school and was wearing a top with a covered back I would put it on and leave it on all school day until I had to come home where I would wipe it off. Through determination and countless hours my back acne is almost gone.

Good
I loved this! It works really well with scars. Well it does nothing to the active pimples though. But it really helps with the scars. I use it with water. 2:1 ratio. It takes a lot of time to dissapear scars but use it daily and I promise you, you'll see the results. I doesnt suit many people though. Like it didnt suit my sister. When she applied it. she got the burning sensation and it stings. But it worked well for me. I have also used to it turmeric and ACV. Baking soda and turmeric is the best and the most fav combination of mine.

Pros:

Prevents new breakouts
Clears face!!
Makes skin feel smooth

Cons:

If you use TOO much and don't wash it off completely it can cause your skin to peel a bit (atleast for me)

I cannot say enough good things about this! I've had acne since I was in my early teens and im now 21, it comes back every once in awhile and it always makes me feel so insecure about my face. I always spring to the store and pick up a new facial cleanser hoping something will finally work...but nope, it seems it works for awhile and then does no good. So of course when I read about baking soda, watched videos and researched I figures to give it a try, but had my doubts it would do any good since nothing else did... Boy was I wrong! I used it one day and already saw a difference the next morning. I've now been using it for just over a week. At first i was using it as a paste and leaving it on for awhile but I find it better to just grab a handful in the shower and wash my face with it and then let it wash off within 30secs-1 minute. Anyway i've been using it in the morning and at night for over a week and can see a HUGE change, I'm almost acne free, hopefully in just a few more days I will have completely clear skin. If anything i recommend this, dont waste your money on products that dont work. Give it a try. :)

Pros:

- very inexpensive
- does not bleach fabric
- painless
- very effectivev
- feels nice :)

Cons:

- a little messy
- dries out skin a bit

I've struggled with acne for years and have been on just about every prescription on the market. I tried proactiv a few months ago, with moderate success. When that ran out, I tried a knock-off version, but it just didn't cut it. At that point, I was ready to try anything. I figured "what the heck," and tried the baking soda mask. I could not believe the results. My acne has almost entire cleared up. For me, baking soda is far more effective than ANY of my medications have been. I use a mask 2-3 times a week and, even at the time of month when I'm usually most broken-out, I had very few blemishes. All I do is mix it with a little water and apply it to my face as a paste. Then I let it dry. It feels very nice - a pleasantly cool sensation. Then I wash it off my face with water. It exfoliates my face and leaves it perfectly clean. It does tend to dry out my skin a little and make it feel tight, but I suppose that's really what I want it to do. A good moisturizer would take care of this if it bothers you, but I don't have one that I trust not to make me break out. I would DEFINITELY recommend baking soda as an acne treatment. It's dirt-cheap and works like a dream.

Pros:

1) Cleared up my skin after using it as a mask twice.
2) Reduced the size of my cystic acne on my forehead and cheeks
3) Brought up small whiteheads

Cons:

1) Irritates a little
2) If used too often, can really burn skin

This product burned my skin after the second use...and here is the reason why: I was starting using lemon juice every other night to see how it would work. It prevented new acne from forming as well (I recommend it). When I read about how effective Baking Soda is, I decided to give it a try. Only thing is, is that I did not let my skin "breathe." One night I put on the lemon juice, the next night I used the Baking Soda as a mask, next night was lemon juice again, and the night after that was another Baking Soda mask. My skin was red and tender that I could hardly touch it. So I decided to leave my skin alone for a few days and just wash it with a cleanser. It has been about 3 or 4 days and my skin is back to normal. I'm going to be using the Baking Soda as a scrub at night and as a mask once a week. Let's see how that works. But overall the results were quick and noticeable. Hell yeah I recommend it!
