Pros:

cheap, easy, fast, works great

Cons:

a little messy

It made my skin super soft and very bright and glowing. Its a great way to exfoliate, tone, soften, clear skin, and shrink pores. I would recommend it to anyone that washes their face in any way because its so cheap and easy and works for everything. Be sure to test your skin before you use it for sensitivity. Just put a little dab on your chin line for 15 minutes and wait for at least a day to make sure it doesn't give you a rash.

Pros:

-Smoothes skin
-Cheap!

Cons:

-When it dries, it snows all over you (try it, you'll know what I mean lol)

I've tried the aspirin mask several & several times in the past 3 weeks. At first I used water, now I'm using Witch Hazel. I haven't gotten any new pimples since I've been using the mask & my face feels very smooth after every mask. So I will continue to use it.

Pros:

-Makes skin feel smooth
-Reduces size & swelling in pimples
-Great exfoliant
-Very inexpensive

Cons:

-Can get messy

DO IT THIS WAY!! I was getting irritated every time I used the aspirin mask because as soon as it dries on your face, the crushed aspiring starts "snowing" all over you. BUT , I've found a great way around this. Whether you use water or witch hazel (I use WH) to mix your aspirin, if you can put a squirt of honey in the mix as well. Don't worry, honey is not bad for your skin. I hear it's actually really great for it ! The honey makes it so the mask actually sticks to your face instead of snowing off onto your clothes lol.

Pros:

Calms inflammation
Smooths skin
Prevents new acne

Cons:

if used too often, will stop working

I used to crush up aspirin and mix it with a tiny bit of water and spread on my face, and it worked pretty well. I started doing it around 4 times and week, but soon it stopped working. I would recommended, but dont do this very often at all.

Pros:

•The mask makes skin smooth and even looking for the day
•kicks pimples OUT of sight
•Exfoliates very well
•Very cheap

Cons:

•Overuse can cause real skin problems
•Tends to be inconsistant in results
•Overuse can make the mask lose efficacy
•Some are allergic to aspirin applied topically but won't know it til they try the mask, and then they are sorry
•If not mixed with something else besides water it will make you sneeze your butt off!!

I really like the aspirin mask, I just wish I could use it more often. When I do use it, my complexion looks smooth and even and it rids the redness of any pimples I might have at that time. An excellent mask for those who "pick" for it heals pimples fast and can lessen the redness of acne scabs (sorry to be gross) BEWARE tho'. Overuse will irritate skin in a weird way.

I don't use it all over my face, just as a spot treatment. If you get the aspirin wet and put about a quarter of it onto a zit and then put a band-aid over it and leave it on overnight, it draws out the zit and dries it out, leaving a dry little red spot that is easily covered and goes away in a day or two. This way, you don't have to pick or pop your zits so you won't have scarring! It's literally an overnight remedy. And, my mom buys aspirin so it's always in the house and accessible.

Pros:

- reduces the size of pimples
- tightens appearance of pores
- very cheap, easy to make
- pleasant honey smell

Cons:

- can be quite drying (but this is easily remedied with enough moisturizer)
- might be too gritty for sensitive skin

Some background info: I've read about this homemade treatment from Ricebunny's blog a long time ago but never really tried it until I started breaking out about two months ago. I have combination skin, and pimples usually appear on my cheeks and forehead the most. Every night, I crush 3 (generic brand) aspirins in about 3 drops of water in my palm, then add 2 small globs of honey. I try not to put too much honey or else it gets too runny & drippy. I then apply it to my face, and wash it off with warm water after 30 mins. I use Olay Complete moisturizer afterwards. I can honestly say it works because there used to be a lot of inflamed red pimples on my cheeks, but now they have been reduced to very tiny spots. My family even commented on how my skin has vastly improved after only a week's trial. One night I even forgot to wash it off because I fell asleep and woke up without nasty results. New pimples still do appear but they are immediately reduced in size after I do a treatment at night. The honey really helps soften the skin too. Of course, what worked for me may not work for everyone, specially since some are more sensitive than others. But just use common sense and you'll be fine (i.e. do a patch test first to check, give it at least a week to show significant results, try to avoid the eye area, moisturize after rinsing face etc)

Pros:

skin feels smoother than I have ever felt before! my skin is usually oily, and it feels like the layer of oil has drastically reduced, skin feels lighter! I only get a little oiliness around nose in morning now.

i used dispirin (brand of aspirin). i bought name brand aspirin prior but the texture was way too chalky and not smooth enough texture for my liking. worth spending little bit extra on dispirin! i use 3 or 4 tablets, half a teaspoon of water and it just all dissolves very quickly. I then add one squirt of honey and mix. I apply on face, leave 20-30 mins. Then i pat on some water and lightly exfoliate the mask off. Follow with moisturise. Skin feels squeaky clean and super soft. Use 1 or 2 times max a week. Still get the odd spot here and there, but not as bad. Might update on progress in a few months! I'm very happy with the results for me :-)
