.....
Honestly I tried it once, and it did nothing. I am not sure if you have to do it everyday, but I read somewhere that if you do it for a day, you should see the effects by the next day, which is probably not true, but still .Idk! Give it a try!

Waste of time
Aspirin does not contain salicylic acid. The compounds making up salicylic acid are in the same family (salicylates), but that doesn't mean they act the same. It doesn't suddenly metabolize and turn into salicylic acid. If anything, you might get a chemical burn depending on what you mix with the aspirin.

no real results..
Cons:
no results
inflammation
more acne surrounding application
I read in some beauty magazine try make an Aspirin and water paste, use as a spot treatment.. I was convinced of the logic of the salycic acid in it, it should work.. after about a year of applying on spots, I saw no results and actually more clogging and inflammation.. However, I have found I am one of those skin types chemicals an salycic acids cause almost like an allergic acne to occur.. best results with baking soda spot treatment

Pros:
Cheap
Cons:
Messy
Doesn't Work
I tried this as a spot treatment to dry out some pimples I had picked at (yup, I'm a picker. Fml.) I mixed 2 tablets with a couple drops of water (you just need a tiny bit of water to make them dissolve. You can slowly add more as needed, but too much water will make it too thin, and you want a paste). I applied the paste as a spot treatment, and left it on until it started to flake off, about 10 minutes. I washed it off and noticed that the top layer of skin of the portions I had picked was easily exfoliated away (not healthy skin, but scab skin). Other than that, the inflammation was not reduced. Next day, no better. It seems like some people have had almost immediate positive reactions, but for me there was really no change. I didn't have any negative side effects, other than a waste of time. You should try it for yourself because everyone is different, but it just didn't do it for me.

Pros:
Cheap
Easy to make
Cons:
Bad for sensitive skin
Messy
Lots of side effects
Basically I had a large spot ony forehead and read the asprin can help, I did as I should have but ended up reacting quite badly. My whole face swelled up leaving me unable to openy eyes and having painful headaches due to the pressure around my face. It happened at the worst time aswell I had 3 gcse exams that week and my Prom at school the week after. I didn't worry about testing it on a small patch because I have never had a reaction and don't have sensitive skin, but I wish I had. I ago have just left the spot alone because I now have a large scar.
Not worth it
Overall test on a small area first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros:
Easy to use
Cons:
Irritated my skin even more
Will not try this again. Aspirins are made to be taken orally, not crushed and applied on face.

Pros:
cheap
can't hurt
Cons:
doesn't work
I tried this on a cyst... didn't work... but it didn't hurt. I'm not the type of person to do this every day as a preventative, so word on that.

Pros:
None
Cons:
Where to start....
I wanted this to work so badly. I have moderate acne, with a million little bumps on my forehead and chin that never come to a head, plus zits by my mouth that also never leave, and an occasional random zit here and there. I have tried literally everything and am at a loss, so i decided to try the aspirin mask. The first time i did it, i mixed it with water and saw no change. the second time i mixed it with honey and washed it off after fifteen minutes. i looked in the mirror and to my horror, there were more little bumps covering about a third of my face. it's also very harsh and almost hurts to wash off. I honestly don't know what to do to fix my skin....

Pros:
dont do it
Cons:
believe me
i'm a pharmacist.. asprin is acetyl salycilic acid.. most products u buy that are facial cleansers contain salycilic acid. or benzoyl peroxide.. both work similarly on the skin. salycilic acid drys your skin and also drys up oil on ur skin causing pimples and acne to dissapear.. However.. its also dangerous.. it can be absorbed through your skin and can cause serious skin reactions as well as bodily reactions includin bleeds... Buy products from the store or see your dr. for a stronger strenght via prescription... The products you buy at the store at least you can trust and have been tested.
Pros:
inexpensive
