Pros:

None

Cons:

This made my cystic acne worse than it has been for 40 years. I am 55 now.

I first heard about using aspirn from Dr Nancy Synderman on the Today Show. When I looked it up here I saw all of the great reviews, and thought this looked like the miracle I was looking for. I could not be more wrong. As usual I tested it a couple of days, under my chin on a couple of pesky pimples, and it seemed to help, I then graduated to my cheeks. I left on for only 10 minutes, and to my horror the pimples turned in to cystic mountains, and I had to go court the next day, I am an attorney. I was so embarrassed, After making it through the rest of the week looking hideous, I am not hiding in my bedroom, and being very gentle with my skin, in hopes the mountains will have gone down enough to leave the house and there is no permanent damage. Bottom Line: This is not for everyone, proceed with caution.

It was okay
It made my skin brighter, but my acne was still there and my face felt dry and itchy.

Pros:

I think I may be allergic, because after applying it to my skin, it ended up red and gross looking. Although, I can see that it would probably be quite effective on mayny people, seeing as how aspirin is pretty much just Salicylic Acid, which is theâ

Cons:

(Continued from above) Main ingredient in most facial cleansers you can find at the store.

It might work? :) Go for it. You never know what'll work for you. And it's cheap :D

Pros:

- Inexpensive
- Works as a good scrub

Cons:

- Didn't really work for me
- Can irritate skin

It didn't really work for me. I've heard of other people who swear by it. It doesn't hurt to try. Lemon juice treatment had been clearing up my skin so I'll stick with that.

Pros:

?

Cons:

Nausea

I think I'm the only person I've seen who has had this problem. Maybe I just have a really sensitive stomach (Minocycline made me supersick too), but aspirin--even topically--made me feel sooo sick. I was really excited to try this--cheap, good revies, etc. After my first application, I became sooo nauseous. I didn't initially connect the dots, but after my second application and another round of nausea, I realized that this was really affecting me. I'm glad it works for others, though!

Pros:

Very cheap, you're not breaking the bank so it's worth a shot.

Cons:

It gave me flare-ups. Made it much worse than it was in the first place.

I followed all the advice given here on how to use it but no luck. I didn't expect immediate change like the others have seen, was hoping it wouldn't get worse but sadly it did. I wouldn't recommend it but it was definitelly worth the try though. 16p for a box of aspirin so who can complain?

Pros:

It really left me squaky clean the first time i used this mask, but now i have a rash on my face. Please don't use if you have sensitive skin

Cons:

I have sensitive skin and used this mask twice. It irritated my skin and left me very dry and now I have to deal with this rash. I followed the instructions and I guess i am sensitive to aspirin. The product irritated my skin and left red bumps

Not sure of a big Improvement/Noticeable Difference
Sort of hard to tell if there were results or not - granted only tried this once or twice.
