Reduces Redness
I woke up one day with a huge cyst on my cheek and applied crushed asprin to it. Immediately, the bump became less red, but it didn't go away. Asprin works to reduce redness on me, but not so much get rid of the pimple.

Pros:

This worked amazingly well for me! I crushed 2 aspirin with half a banana and left it on my face for half an hour. It cleared some of my zits, reduced redness and swelling and left me with a beautiful glowy (not greasy) look that EVERYONE who knows me noticed.

Cons:

Doesn't clear acne per se, just deep cleanses and ''glowifies" (yes I totally made that word up).

For light to moderate acne sufferers who want some healthy looking skin. Use in conjunction with lemon juice as a toner, or apple cider vinegar applied topically.

Pros:

makes your face feel amazing
reduces swelling and a little redness

Cons:

doesn't really get rid of acne

I put the mix on my face and it was very watery, I put a little too much water. But putting honey in it does WONDERS for your skin. It feels fresh and tight and you can see a difference in one use

Pros:

Cheap
Extremly effective on my skin
Easy to use.

Cons:

Dries out skin a bit
Crumbles everywhere when its dry

I have acne since I was 13, I am now 18. I suffered an endless battle with acne, making countless doctors and dermatologist trips, with no avail(luckily treatments are free here) I came across this asparin mask on the internet and i can say its truley worked wonders for me, but might not be for everyone, i have sentitive skin too. I dissolve 2 uncoated asparin tablets with a few drops of water, wait a few minutes and slather it on my face, try to sit as still as poss as it crumbles everywhere! Wait for upto 20 minutes then scrub it off with warm water, then i apply freshly squeezed lemon juice to my face and leave over night(check out the lemon juice feed on here!) please don't use bottled lemon juice, it contains lemon oil which broke me out like hell:( then i moisturise alot in the morning. My skin hasn't looked this good in years..would say i have a few spots now, not acne.. But the scars are still trouble. Can anyone reccomend anything for scars?:) many thanks.

Pros:

cheap
easy
keeps you from having yet another bottle in the bathroom

Cons:

hard to crush, but I've read it is better to take 3-4 aspirin and put water on them and let it soak in

Take the aspirin, apply water and let absorb. Then, use on "spots". Wait 5-10 minutes. Apply the rest as a mask using a circular motion. I left it on another 5 minutes and rinsed. My skin feels really soft.

Pros:

Cheap
Good for shaving rashes and spots
Helps reduce redness of spots

Cons:

Messy
Makes Skin rather tight during use. (more of a con that pro to me)

I got the dispersible aspirin for like 29p. Cheap brand does the job just as well. Perfect for helping with shaving spots along with a good shaving oil or cream.

Pros:

-flattened acne
-cheap
-made skin feel fresh and clean

Cons:

-not really anything, just a little messy to make!

IT FLATTENED MY ACNE! My pimples are still a little pink, but they are much flatter! I read instructions on how to make it on another review and I tried it and in a few hours my the size of my pimples was reduced! 1)crush 5 aspirins on a small plate and put the powder into a bowl. 2) add little amounts of WARM water until the mix is like a paste. 3) (optional) Honey can be added so the mixture doesn't dry your face out as much! (If it needs more water after the honey is added, just ADD IT! ) 4)spread evenly over your face, massaging lightly as you do. 5) wear for 10-20 minutes and rinse off with warm water! *If it seems too rough and not looking like a mask don't worry as it dries you will feel it hardening like a mask. Hope it works as good for you as it did for me! :)

Pros:

Can be used as a spot treatment (haven't tried it as a face mask).
Reduces size and redness of pimple

Cons:

Takes a few days to work on big ones
Slight stinging at first (first few minutes).

I had a crazy cyst on my cheek that I thought would never go away. As soon as I saw the cyst forming, I mixed a little water with uncoated aspirin. I then dabbed the paste onto the cyst and let it sit there for a few hours. I did this for a few days. By each day the cyst got smaller and smaller. Now the cyst is flat. It formed into two pimples during the process, but these two pimples have been greatly reduced. I still have a slight redmark, but it's flat now.

Pros:

Exfoliating, very inexpensive, many many uses.

Cons:

Can irritate skin, especially if you rub

Aspirin masks are far too irritating to use on my face, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE them for my legs, pre- and post-shaving. It totally clears up any razor bumps or ingrown hairs, and helps my shaves last for days (instead of mere hours). I made a pre-shave mask with ground up uncoated aspirins, honey, and glycerin. I let it sit on my legs a few minutes, then VIGOROUSLY rubbed it in with scrubby gloves right before shaving. After shaving, I used a home-made aspirin toner, with 70% alcohol and witch hazel, then moisturized with jojoba oil. My legs feel sooooooo smooth, even on the second and third days.

Pros:

i had really bad acne and now that its better i hav like 1 or 2 pimples on my face from times to time and quite alot of red and dark marks from poppin my pimples in shower because i hav sensitive skin~ using this mask i my scar started to disappear except some of the red ones but you cant see them unless u hav raelly good eyes~ like me and my friends can barly see them cause we have 300/300 eyes and we dont wear glasses~ but yea~ it helps acne and scars and renewing ur skin~

Cons:

Incase yall dint noe this~ aspring breaks up ur scar tissue and like.....unstick ur tissue meaning its like exfoliating~ meanin your it helps reduce scar and redness but in the meantime ur skin will be more sensitive to sunlight by 50% so PUT SUNSCREEN ON WHEN YOU GO OUT AFTER USING THIS PRODUCT for a week or so is good =] if you dont that means you'd have 50% more chance of gettin cancer and other stuff than normally~ but its till a low chance but hey....who wanna risk?

Its good if u had acne or has acne because these product wont cloak pores or cause acne and it helps scar~ heres how i make mine: use a couple tablet of aspirng or u can use powder ~ i perfer powder~ and drop a couple drops of water on it and pad it with ur fingers to dissolve it and some honey and a bit of apple vinegar( i dont use this sometime cuz of the smell) ~ apple vinegar is not too harsh on ur face and defintely wont cause pimples and acne infact it dissolve the oil and the stuff underneath ur acne~ and also breaksdown scar tissue~ rub it on ur face and gently exfoliate ur skin then leave it on for 10 minute =] and wash n rinse it off with ur regular facial cleanser~ AND PUT SUNSCREEN ONNNN when u go out because ur skin is 50% mroe sensitive to the sun cuz of this product~ Ohh and exposure to the sun also makes scars and redmarks worst by a tiny lil bit~ =] use baby sunscreen btw or one tat wont cloak pore ~ cuz we oun wan no acne from sunscreen~~
