Cons:
NOTHING!
this is how i do it! 1. i clean my face with proativ cleaner
2. I apply the mask
Ingredients:
- 3 to 5 aspirins (it really depends on you)
- couple drops of honey
- tiny bit of water, just to dissolve the aspirin
Procedure:
Dissolve the aspirins with tiny bit of water (i use a teaspoon), crush the aspirins, add couple drops of honey, mix it together, apply on face, leave for 10-15 mins., pat your face with some water and start to exfoliate(the aspirins have tiny beads) for 5-10 seconds, rinse ot off, pat your face with a clean towel (do not rub!)
3. I apply my proactiv toner
4. If i have a zit (or zits) i dab proativ mask on the pimple. Trust me it works really well.
5. I use proativ oil-free moisturizer.
Then you're done! :)
Im a fan of proativ btw.

Great for cystic acne
I have really bad cystic acne on my back from hormones, sweat, and probably other factors. If I get a cyst, I will crush up a bit of aspirin, mix a drop or two of water with it, and pile a bunch on top of my cysts for spot treatment. I usually leave it on for about 20-30 minutes, and the cysts seem to be less swollen and less painful after washing it off. It's no miracle cure, but great for painful cysts.

Pros:
This worked amazingly well for me! I crushed 2 aspirin with half a banana and left it on my face for half an hour. It cleared some of my zits, reduced redness and swelling and left me with a beautiful glowy (not greasy) look that EVERYONE who knows me noticed.
Cons:
Doesn't clear acne per se, just deep cleanses and ''glowifies" (yes I totally made that word up).
For light to moderate acne sufferers who want some healthy looking skin. Use in conjunction with lemon juice as a toner, or apple cider vinegar applied topically.

Really helps bring down inflammation
Aspirin masks have treated me so well! Have done this (crushed up a few aspirin and mixed with water to apply to face) for like 3 years now. It's not some kind of cure, but it takes down inflammation quick and quite effectively, so when I get a breakout and my face is red and irritated, I love doing this mask to calm my skin down. It is drying, so afterwords use your regular toner and moisturizer or whatever you typically would do.

good overnight spot treatment
an aspirin mask is actually a great overnight quick spot treatment when crushed and mixed with water. I recommend applying this paste directly onto the spot and leaving it overnight. an aspirin mask is good for spots as it actually contains a high amount of salicylic acid in its ingredients, this is great for unclogging the pores temporarily and getting rid of the spot. however do not rely on this as a cure to acne or an acne treatment as salicylic acid has to be used continuously over a course of time for best results because it only unclogs pores it does not get rid of bacteria/acne so once the salicylic acid is removed off the skin it leaves the pore open again to acne causing bacteria and infection.
I would only recommend this if you are trying to get rid of a spot for the next day or a big event. for a more long term treatment for spots and acne try using other methods.

amazing mask!
used this today, i already see and feel the results. my redness is nearly gone and the irritating zit i had has shrunk in size and hurts a lot less. although the mask feels horrible (i wanted to scratch it off), it sure does work good! id say give it a go. i made it using water and....you got it, aspirin! nothing else. i simply let 4 aspirins soak in warm water for 10 minutes and it became a chunky paste, applied it, waited 15 minutes, and rinsed off with warm water. make sure to moisturize after, it can dry out the skin pretty bad.

Pros:
exfoliates
reduces redness of pimples
heals quickly
no dry spots but i have oily skin
Cons:
Burns
Its amazing!! my acne was pretty bad. i didnt like to go out in public when i had a breakout. now when i have a breakout its just a little one. i use lemon juice instead of water it works great! BUT if you have sensitive skin i would not recommend using lemon juice with it. i also use moisturizer either lotion or olive oil. which also helps with my oily skin! i do this twice a day, morning and evening before bed. Good luck!
Pros:
- VERY CHEAP
- make pimples gone
- contain salicylic acid
- makes skin feel soft
- get rid of blemishes (little bit)
