Cons:
Does not work on all acne
Aspirin applied topically DOES work - BUT (and this is a big 'but') only with certain types of acne. Aspirin, when taken orally, reduced internal inflammation and thus relieves aches, pains, and some swelling. However, when applied topically, aspirin does not always have this effect. In my experience, the aspirin mask is most effective on erupted pimples - those which have come to a "head" and are ready to be popped, or have popped. In the case of those pimples, the aspirin mask does a good job of reducing redness and swelling, and also dries the pimple, to reduce its size. However, the mask is largely or sometimes completely ineffective on cystic acne and so-called "underground" pimples - those pimples which sit beneath the surface and hurt when touched. The aspirin simply does not absorb into the skin and have the same anti-inflammatory effect that it does on internal inflammation when taken orally. So... it is useful, but just one item in your anti-acne arsenal. I also find a green clay mint sulfur mask to be more effective on erupted pimples. Ice is really the only thing which works to reduce the size of, and eliminate, underground pimples. Just to add - you can use coated aspirin - it will just take longer to dissolve. I hold the coated aspirin under warm running water, rub the coating off, and then make my paste with what remains after the coating has come off. (You can tell when the coating is gone because the aspirin becomes gritty to the touch and begins to dissolve almost immediately.)

Pros:
Cleared my hormonal acne after only one use!
Cons:
None
I used this the night before last for the first time after reading reviews on here and it has really helped - I can't believe it! I suffer from bad cystic spots around my time of the month but they have all reduced dramatically in size and redness after just one face mask! Two days later and they have almost disappeared.
I used three crushed aspirin with some water, aloe vera and honey, which I left on my face for 15 mins. I felt pretty silly at the time but when I washed it off my face was really soft and clear.
I hope that this treatment continues to work! Will come back when I've been using it for longer and let you know.

Pros:
Major difference in face condition in one usage! The stubborn acle that I had decresed in size!
Cons:
Do not use everyday, I hear that it soaks into your skin and can make you sick and also, it dries out your skin.
First: You place 1-3 [NO MORE THAN THAT] in a small bowl
Second: You SPRINKLE [if you add too much, it depletes the purpose of the grainy texture] water onto the pellets. and some honey for moisture <3 or aloe vera. Water works just fine by itself.
Third. Smush if needed
Fourth: Apply to face and avoid eye area.
Fifth: Try not to get it up your nose
Sixth: leave for about 15 min.
Seventh: Wash off with water while slightly scrubbing for exfolition.
8th: Use toner to get excess off. [you don't want this stuff on your face all day!]
9th: USE A MOISTURIZER WITH SUNSCREEN! uva and uvb.
[This stuff makes you most sensitive to the sunlight by about 50%!] 10th: Enjoy. This product is really great! just don't use it everyday

It was okay
It made my skin brighter, but my acne was still there and my face felt dry and itchy.

Ehh
Worked for a little bit, then stopped working long time. Sometimes if you put it on as a spot treatment over night it will shrink the pimple by morning.

Amazing
I used crushed aspirin and pure honey and used it as spot treatment on a large painful pimple on my chin. I had already popped it so it was sore, red and huge. I put the "mask" on it yesterday around 5pm and once again today around 7am and besides some dry flaking skin it's flat and just red/scabbed now. It's amazing and I wish I would have tried this before!!

Pros:
Cheap
Extremly effective on my skin
Easy to use.
Cons:
Dries out skin a bit
Crumbles everywhere when its dry
I have acne since I was 13, I am now 18. I suffered an endless battle with acne, making countless doctors and dermatologist trips, with no avail(luckily treatments are free here) I came across this asparin mask on the internet and i can say its truley worked wonders for me, but might not be for everyone, i have sentitive skin too. I dissolve 2 uncoated asparin tablets with a few drops of water, wait a few minutes and slather it on my face, try to sit as still as poss as it crumbles everywhere! Wait for upto 20 minutes then scrub it off with warm water, then i apply freshly squeezed lemon juice to my face and leave over night(check out the lemon juice feed on here!) please don't use bottled lemon juice, it contains lemon oil which broke me out like hell:( then i moisturise alot in the morning. My skin hasn't looked this good in years..would say i have a few spots now, not acne.. But the scars are still trouble. Can anyone reccomend anything for scars?:) many thanks.

Pros:
smooth skin, no dead skin cells left if used as exfoliater and not just mask
