Acne.org : AHA+ (Glycolic Acid - 10%)

After using the product for 7 months, I can notice that my acne bumps and scars (which were left behind by previous acne) have faded away. Just, wow. I used to believe that nothing would make the horrible scars fade away, but this product proved me wrong. But you do have to use it everyday to see results. Promise u that after 6 months of everyday use, your marks will have faded way significantly. I first apply the acne.org benzoyl peroxide treatment, then wait 30 min.; then I apply acne.org moisturizer and AHA. I then apply the jojoba oil all over my face to avoid dryness and to smooth my skin for the next day. Lastly, I wait 10 min. and then apply the acne.org AHA as a spot treatment on all of the scars. *U have to use this product about 2 to 3 months after beginning to use benzoyl peroxide -otherwise your skin will burn too bad, and I mean it.* I have using this for 6 months, and my acne scars have significantly faded away; to do the whole regimen is annoying, but u stick with it and get your reward. I used to get embarrassed every time I approached a makeup counter at any store (because of my scars); but not anymore! I look more like myself now. You could too if u use this; but remember that it will work best and give dramatic results only if u use it every day. Oh, and it also helps the benzoyl peroxide zap zits much faster. Get it now!

It stung a bit when I first put it on, and my face turned a little red for about a minute. After that, I forgot I had it on. I haven't really decided how often I should use it; when it first came, I was excited about trying it and used it three nights that week. However, I've only used it a few times since then, since I've been focusing on using BP to clear my acne. Now that I'm all clear, I'm thinking of incorporating it into my routine again a few nights a week. If you have oily skin, I would definitely recommend this.

I've used AHA before and it has always been a pain to work with leaving clumps behind. The first few times I used this there was a layer of dead skin cells that came off so you might want to only apply it at night. My skin is smooth again! :) This literally eliminated my need to exfoliate, and does less damage to the skin because there is no harsh rubbing. Be careful of the sun because this does help take the pigment from your skin. When I tan I just add a mild sunscreen to my face.:)

Well, I'm reviewing this product a second time. For some reason, I decided to try the "natural" route, and to not use any chemicals, but facials. Big and expensive mistake. The facials weren't cheap, and my acne kept getting worse and worse, some eventually developed into cystic, and some scarring. Finally, I decided to go back and start using this again. I think my problem was that I was using it too often. .applying it two or three times daily, instead of once. I went to see my dermatologist, and he recommended accutane, which I didn't even want to consider. (Have been on it twice already). He did put me on retin-a micro, so between that and the aha, has cleared me up considerably over the span of a couple of weeks. By the way, I also eat healthily. .avoiding processed foods, chicken and fish instead of red meat, lots of veggies, limiting the sugar intake. Cutting out dairy seemed to help, too.

I don't think I can express how much love I feel for this product. AHA has totally changed the look and texture of my skin post acne. As someone who is pretty pale by fault every discoloration on our faces are more noticeable. Not only is acne more obvious but then we get clear and are stuck with red marks that are just as bad. I started incorporating AHA into my regime a month into the Acne.org regimen. I mixed it with moisturizer a few nights a week. Then slowly that graduated to using it every night with moisturizer then eventually only a full face of AHA a few times a week. Before I knew it the red marks were gone and most of the time people can't even tell I had acne to begin with. It is a process yes, but with results I got from this stuff I make sure I always have some on hand for any minor breakouts that I get. Tip: If you are on the regimen my advice would be to spot treat the red marks before you apply BP. For me this made the redness go away much faster.

AMAZING! I had been using Dan's regimen but after three months my face was still incredibly red and flaky, albeit without any zits. I ordered the AHA in hopes that it would help and now it is the ONLY facial product I use. I was my face with his cleanser and then apply the AHA morning and night and my skin is incredible and hasn't look this good in years. THANK YOU DAN

When I first received this, I seriously wasn't expecting the tube to be as big as it is. Definitely worth the price tag as you won't find a product of equal value for that kind of price. I've not used it for a long time, just nightly for a few days, but it's already made a huge impact on the condition of my skin. It gets rid of all the little scaly flakes BP leaves me with, and it only stings for a little while... nothing horrendous or too bad to deal with. My skin feels so smooth today that I have to stop myself from touching it, it's almost like it's not even mine. AHA is a little miracle in a tube. The price I've listed is inclusive of shipping, if you get it in the US it'll obviously be cheaper for you.

I have used this stuff for a while now and unlike a lot of these reviews who are saying they have seen results in 1-2 days (c'mon, you need to give a product at LEAST 30 days to truly TRY it and determine whether or not its recommendable - 60 days is more realistic), it took me a while to truly LOVE this stuff because around week 2, my skin looks horrible as it was purging all the crap underneath the surface. What I mean by purging is not a "breakout" per se, but my skin looked rough and bumpy. Its been a long time since then and the gunk has worked its way pretty much out and my skin looks much, much better. Also, if I have to extract anything, this stuff erases the redness entirely. Thats GREAT! It also works great for breakouts on back/arms, which I suffer from and this has brought tremendous relief. Thank god for Dan - he is such a blessing for creating and making these products available to all of us. Try this stuff! Its great.

I'm not really one for reviews, but i had too for this one. I've tried sooo many products in hopes of my acne scars fading and nothing has worked liked this one! Within ONE week i've seen drastic change and i can't wait to see what my skin will look like in a few more !!
