Pros:

Solved my exfoliation problem.
Cheap!!! Thanks Dan!
Vastly reduced whiteheads and blackheads.

Cons:

-I don't wear it during the day because it can rub off and "ball up" on your skin.
-I like to be outside and I'm concerned about burning during the day.
-It keeps my pores unclogged that I'd say my skin is actually a little oilier during the day because the pores are flowing, rather than getting plugged up and turning into whiteheads. I'll deal with it.

This product helped take my skin to the next level. Not completely acne free, but on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being clear skin, this helped take me from 6-7 to 8-9. I have been using various forms of the benzyol peroxide regimen from this website for a while, starting with ProActiv. While the BP regimen helped, I still had an issue with oily skin, and what I thought was an exfoliation issue that kept me from getting my skin clearer. I'm confident that was the issue after trying this product, because this product helped solve my exfoliation problems, and now my skin is much clearer. Whiteheads almost eliminated and overall skin tone is much better.

Pros:

I've been using this product at night for a few weeks and noticed my skin tone is much more even. I use it on my face and neck. The scent isn't strong and it glides on smoothly. 6oz for $16 plus shipping is a great deal compared to other products on the market. The tube will last a really long time. I love it!

Cons:

None that I can think of. Maybe offer a travel size? I only use it at night but definitely use a sunscreen afterward if applying during the day.

Buy it! You won't regret it.

Pros:

Clears up cystic acne, cheapest product that I've tried that actually works, evens out skin tone,

Cons:

stings a little on open blemishes, odor is a little different, almost like mustard, but doesn't bother me
absolutely have to wear sunscreen

Well, I'm reviewing this product a second time. For some reason, I decided to try the "natural" route, and to not use any chemicals, but facials. Big and expensive mistake. The facials weren't cheap, and my acne kept getting worse and worse, some eventually developed into cystic, and some scarring. Finally, I decided to go back and start using this again. I think my problem was that I was using it too often. .applying it two or three times daily, instead of once. I went to see my dermatologist, and he recommended accutane, which I didn't even want to consider. (Have been on it twice already). He did put me on retin-a micro, so between that and the aha, has cleared me up considerably over the span of a couple of weeks. By the way, I also eat healthily. .avoiding processed foods, chicken and fish instead of red meat, lots of veggies, limiting the sugar intake. Cutting out dairy seemed to help, too.

Pros:

Works so well!!! I have NEVER used anything that works so great! I hane NO MORE CYSTIC ACNE!! :) I am elated!! Doesn't dry out my skin. Easy to incorporate into my routine. Kills pimples quickly without drying skin.

Cons:

Other than having to order more tubes because I used all of it, Zero cons.

This is honestly the most effective skin product I've ever used. I've spent $100's if not $1000's on Rx's and over the counter solutions for my moderate-severe acne, and nothing has shown any lasting help except this product! It's unbelievable! I am a 25 y.o. lady who had pretty severe hormonal acne all around my jaw and chin. It was so gross. It was cystic, huge and scaring! I have hated my skin over the last few years because of having acne. BC's only made it worse too. My routine consists of the following steps: -Scrub wet face with St. Ive's blemish control apricot scrub -Wash with sensitive skin, fragrance-free Cetafil -Smooth Acne.org's 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide all over face in thin layer -After that dries a bit, I rub AHA+ over the trouble spots. When that dries more, -Smooth Acne.org moisturizer (with a couple drips of Jojoba oil in it) over face. Usually I end it with 65spf sunscreen. My skin has continually been good! No issues at all. You should really just try this stuff. It's amazing.

Pros:

Exfoliates, my skin is so soft now. Clears acne and adds a rosy glow to my skin.

Cons:

Stings a little, but it doesnt bother me too much. You need to be sure you are wearing sunscreen. It makes you burn more easy. But you should be wearing sunscreen any way.

Very reasonable price. Im thrilled with the results. My skin is super soft. Cleared my skin up first using the Acne.org regimen and now I use it on its own after cleansing with Acne.org cleanser at night. Keeping my skin clear for the most part. I love it.

Pros:

- Dramatically reduces flaking caused by BP
- I apply a thin layer every night to my entire face, and in the morning it is softer with reduces blemishes and less flaking after I apply BP and foundation!
- No stinging, irritation or redness for me (I have not been in the sun - cold Canadian winter still!)
- No offensive smell
- Did not breakout me out
- My skin generally just looks better after one week. I am actually thinking of wearing NO foundation today (a big step for me... ma

Cons:

- May be too shiny for the day time
- Apparently causes sun sensitivity

THANK YOU DAN!!! This makes my skin look great and my confidence has increased so much... no longer scared of bright lighting that shows my flaky skin and blemishes! Woo hoo! Everyone should try this, it is NOT expensive and you get a huge tube! Side note: You should not expect this to be a miracle product if it is the ONLY thing you do for your skin. Follow Dan's regimen (don't have to use huge amount of BP if your acne isn't too bad - I don't), and eat healthy!

Pros:

skin is smoother, WAY less acute acne, great as a spot treatment (major eruptions gone. overnight!) it seems to help calm the redness in my skin, is helping to fade acne scars. I'm only 26, but I look younger AND less acne! Hooray!

Cons:

Sometimes stings in sensitive areas, but sting really doesn't last more than a few seconds, and has never stopped me from wearing it. Increases sun sensitivity, so use sunscreen!

I love this stuff!!!!! If you have problems with it at first, I was using a very very thin layer of jojoba or cetaphil lotion under the AHA to get my skin used to it (I also started using it in the DeAd of winter, so you probably won't even need to do this!) It's a pretty gentle product as far as acne treatments go. My skin is usually dry/combo/sensitive/acne prone, so it hates harsh stuff. This ain't harsh. ;) Helps my skin look smoother, i recommend exfoliating every few days since it appears to have accelerated my skin's sloughing process (which i think is the whole point?) I use Olay sensitive skin gentle cleaning cloths in a circular motion to get all the dead skin off. Try this stuff. Trust me. :)
