Pros:

Makes my skin softer and smoother, and perhaps less red all over

Cons:

Stings a little, hasn't done too much for red acne scars

Give it a try! It's inexpensive, and works really well. You can't lose! :)

Pros:

Helps get dead skin and flakes off of your face. Leaves skin very smooth and even. Helps zits and red marks heal faster.

Cons:

Burns like crazy. Makes face red after applying. Makes sunscreen mandatory.

I DO really like this product. I use it any night I look at my dry, cleansed face and there's a decent amount of flakes. You can literally rub the dead skin from your face after using this. The burning is pretty bad but it doesn't last long. I use an ice cube in a baggy to cool my face down. This is definitely either a night-only product or to use on days you're staying home the entire day, because it makes you so vulnerable to the sun and it does make your face red for a while. Buy I end up not looking ragged! =D

Pros:

Keeps skin pretty damn clear and smooth.

Cons:

Stay out of the sun

I love this stuff. I use it on my t-zone every night and it stops pimples developing further. I haven't had any massive pimples since i started using it. Get it!

Pros:

Great moisturizer, especially after using the BP

Cons:

Didn't really fade the red spots on my face

It really combats the dryness you experience with the BP. I haven't seen fading of the red spots from old pimples yet, and I'm sort of disappointed in that, but maybe it just takes some time. I did have some purging when I first used it, which was not so cool. In general, though, I would recommend this at least as a moisturizer.

Pros:

Works well as a spot treatment, reduces redness and swelling of large inflamed pimples super fast.

Cons:

Stings really badly when you first put it on, greasy and balls up after drying. Not a very pleasant smell either.

I've been using it at night because of warnings that it increases sun sensitivity. I dab it on a couple of problem areas on my cheeks and forehead and don't rub it in until about an hour later. Whenever I do this it seems to amazingly get rid of the redness that makes my skin look so awful. It also reduced the swelling a large pimple I had on my cheek. The only bad thing I would say is that it is a bit greasy and balls up after drying so I wouldn't recommend touching your face much after applying. Also, it stings A LOT when you first put it on but it's kinda good in way because I feel like that means its working ;) I definitely wouldn't call this a 'miracle cream' but it definitely helps.

Pros:

Reduces swelling of large cystic acne and can prevent one of these large under the skin zits from ever surfacing if caught early enough,.

Cons:

It can irritate the skin if over used.

AHA for me is best used as a spot treatment. I like its ability to help control large cystic acne,

Pros:

Helps fade red marks quickly, helps popped zits and small whiteheads disappear fast, dries very fast so I can sleep with it on, also it doesn't make my face red on contact like other AHAs so I can go out right after applying it.

Cons:

May clause slight purging (I've experienced a little bit on my chin), it balls up if you rub your skin after it dries (makes it a little hard to apply makeup if its on my skin).

(my skin has fairly light acne with a lot of red marks and some shallow scarring) Overall I'm really happy with this product. I think its definitely worth the money for the shipping. Ive been using it for about 5 days and I can already see my red marks starting to fade away as well as the overall tone of my skin improving. I cant wait to see how my skin progresses over the next couple of weeks, I definitely will continue to use this.

Pros:

improves skin texture through gentle chemical exfoliation, moisturizing

Cons:

increases sun sensitivity, may irritate skin, online only, expensive shipping cost, has not faded red/dark spots

I've used this regularly for at least three months, morning and night, immediately after cleansing. I use less than a dime size amount, concentrating on applying the product to my problem areas, then I smooth the excess onto the rest of my face, until the product is nearly absorbed into my skin. I then apply sunscreen, then my foundation. I have not experienced a significant change in my dark spots, but I have noticed a great difference in my skin texture. It's very smooth and soft, and my breakouts don't last as long as they used to, though I still get a few monster zits that hang around for more than a week or two, usually during my cycle. This is a great moisturizer, and I find it just as effective as BP in treating my acne. It was recommended to my by my best friend. She was able to fade her red marks after a month of regular use. I don't seem to be as fortunate, but I would still recommend for gentle chemical exfoliation.

Pros:

smooth out skin, makes your skin baby soft after using it consistently for a few days. smells kind of good. Good exfoliator for blackheads.

Cons:

I have not seen a dramatic change in brown spots, considering I have used it for a month. did not do anything to whiteheads that I have had for long time.

overall, It is something everyone should at least have in their bathroom. it is good for occasional treatments. I wouldn't recommend to use it daily since it is kind of harsh on kind. if you are looking for a AHA natural alternative: try Apple Cider Vinegar, only in organic form though! use it as a toner or drink it daily, works great!
