Acne.org : AHA+ (Glycolic Acid - 10%)

cleared my light case of acne, mainly blackheads and a few whiteheads. used it every night for 2 months but my skin started to look quite leathery and damaged so switched to 3 times a week and it looks much better.

Since 6th grade, I've never had clear skin. Even on good days, there would be one or two acne that would continuously appear. I'm 21 now, and recently discovered BHA and AHA. The combination of the two completely cleared my skin. I use aspirin toner(Witch hazel, tea tree oil, aspirin tabs) before applying AHA. Initially for the first few days of using this product, my skin purged the acne that was hidden beneath the skin. After that, it was all clear skin :) My face feels super smooth and soft. I still can't believe that I've spent all my Jr.High and High school year without knowing about BHA/AHA. I wish I could go back and tell my old self the secret!

I've been using a 10% benzoyl peroxide wash in the shower and the AHA once or twice a day. I do not wash my face with soap ever. This has been almost a miracle, even though it took several months. I was a dog groomer and I still have hair splinters in my neck that are working their way out, but this is definitely speeding up the process.

The value and quality of this product is amazing. You only use a small amount, yet the tube is huge. I have enough in this bottle for a year! Best value out there. Honestly between this and coconut oil, my skin is FINALLY starting to look amazing. And at a fraction of the cost. I really think your skin is better off basic...not lots of fillers and chemicals. I've been using the Regimen for just under 2 months and it has taken my oily, splotchy, irritated, acne-laden skin and made it so much clearer and calmer. I'm still breaking out, but with much less frequency, and the pimples I am still getting tend to be much smaller and quicker to resolve. I did experience the flakiness and redness for the first month as I got used to the BP, and if I use significantly more than usual at a time it can still end up red and irritated, but for the most part that effect has subsided. I used SO much jojoba oil mixed in with the moisturizer during that first month; this surprised me, given how oily my face has been historically, but the daily BP use reversed that reeeeeeal quick. I still had a lot of dark spots and scars and a generally pinkish skin tone that I wanted to get rid of, so I added in the AHA a few weeks ago. Full disclosure, it STUNG the first time I put it on after the BP dried. It felt like my skin was actively burning. I have somewhat sensitive skin, and I was thinking I wouldn't be able to handle this product, but I decided to experiment with it and I've found a way that makes it work for me! I've ended up either using it half-strength whenever I apply the BP all over, or using it full-strength during the daytime with minimal to no BP, and that is making a massive difference in my skin tone and texture. It's much smoother and less red, and the flaking is more or less gone. And, while I still have dark spots, they seem to be starting to fade. This regimen is a godsend for someone like me, who's suffered from pretty substantial acne for the past 15 years and tried everything under the sun to get rid of it. I finally don't feel the need to use foundation as a camouflage for my skin issues, and it's been the most liberating thing to go outside without makeup and not feel self-conscious about my face! 100% recommend!

This is the only product that has ever *completely* cleared my body acne. It's a miracle. I've suffered for years (and have the scars to prove it!) and a week into daily treatment with just this product, my skin was smooth. I use this every day after my shower, and for about 2 months, I've been bump free. My upper back, chest and shoulders were awful, and as a girl, that's really hard. Thank you for this product!!

This is the comment a co-worker gave me today, she asked me, "What are you doing with you skin?? It looks sooo great, like porcelain!" This is the very first time in my life during my 18 year journey of acne have I ever been complemented on my skin. I knew right away I had to write a review on the AHA+ product. This is the key to taking my skin to where I want it to be. I have only been using the AHA for about 1.5-2 weeks now. But it has evened out my skin tone, flattened my skin indefinitely, and has gotten rid of a lot of gunk. I encourage you to use this product along side the benzoyl peroxide. But I think that you should apply the AHA after you are clearing up. The AHA works as a scar treatment/skin evener. Great product. 5/5

First of all, if you are just starting the regimen PLEASE remember to wait a few weeks before you use this! I didn't read that part and used on about day 7 and whoa the burning and red face afterwards!! :( Completely my fault! I really like this. I was using Avon's glycolic acid pads and really liked them. I have to say I like this better and it is much more affordable. I use it every other day or so at night as my moisturizer and my skin looks and feels so much better in the morning. I read a few reviews and do agree it can ball up (mainly at my jaw line) but since it is the last step and I use it at night mine doesn't unless I rub it in too much.

I think I've found my cream! Its helped me find that happy medium by helping killing those spots and mousturizing at the same time! I'm extremely happy with this product and if all goes well when I finish the tube, I will be buying more in bulk! Haha, happy days!

I tried out using the acne.org regimen products (Cleanser, BP, Moisturizer, and AHA). I've been using them for 3 months straight. The positive side was that my acne cleared up! I have occasional breakouts, but they're just minor spots from that time of the month I guess. The downside is that my skin has been so dry. It never got used to the BP. :( My skin had been flaky and tight for a couple of months despite being clear. So I stopped using the BP all over my face, and used it for a spot treatment instead. Then I've been using the AHA every night. NOW my skin is CLEAR, SMOOTH, and SOFT. :) So happy with the results!
