Great, but do NOT overuse!
So I have normal, non-sensitive skin. I've used this product six consecutive days in a row without mixing with other moisturizer, thinking that I would be okay. I only used an amount the size of a pea daily and spot-treated on parts where I had acne. I felt my skin texture becoming quite smooth and tiny bumps on my forehead clearing up (that did not disappear completely with just BP) by the fourth day. However, by the sixth day, my face burned and felt irritated. I've stopped using it again temporarily as I want my weakened skin to recover. At least I know for sure it definitely does its job of exfoliating. It was stupid of me to be greedy and overuse. Also, do not put on too much at once either, because that may also cause your skin to burn and sting. Overall, good exfoliator and surprisingly, it was actually moisturizing as well. I just really want to stop anyone from overusing. It is highly likely that this on its own won't heal acne itself, but I think it's worth a shot.

Pros:

exfoliates deeply without being harsh on the skin
leaves skin smooth and moisturized
helps fade acne scars and evens out skin tone
leaves a lovely healthy glow
results can be seen within a couple of days

Cons:

can sting a tiny bit if too much is applied on the skin
apparently makes the skin more sensitive towards sunlight

AHA+ saved my life!! My skin is pretty clear except that i was getting small cystic like bumps on my T zone a few months ago. I was freaking out and panicking about what to do. Then one day i stumbled across a tube a AHA+ that i had purchased a long time ago but for some reason never actually tried out. I covered my whole face with a thin layer of this product and let it work its magic over night and when i woke up in the morning my face felt smoother and the bumps had visibly reduced in size. Now iv been religiously using it for the last month and absolutely LOVE it. I'm not sure if my face has become anymore sensitive to sunlight seeing as its winter at the moment and im mostly inside, but once summer comes around ill write another review letting you guys know if iv experienced any sunlight sensitivity.

Pros:

- Works well with BP in zapping spots
- Evens out redness of spots (doesn't eliminate completely)
- Evens out hyper pigmentation (red marks)

Cons:

- Stings for a second or so
- can be irritating if you use too much at the same time as BP

I use AHA+ as a spot treatment in addition to Dan's regimen. I apply it at least 15 mins after my BP and moisturiser as to avoid irritation. It's not a miracle worker, but I certainly think it helps BP do it's job. I know you can use it all over the face, but I'm reluctant due to the risk of irritation.

Pros:

Smoothes + softens skin
Reduces hyperpigmentation
Helps reduce acne
Leaves skin less oily

Cons:

Slight stinging when used on broken skin
Thick consistency, only used at night

I've been on Dan's regimen for about 2 years now. BP really helped with controlling my oily skin and acne, though it didn't fix it completely. I used AHA+ about once a week just to break up my BP cycle. I stopped using BP recently because my skin was rashy from the summer, started using AHA+ every day instead. It made my skin soft and greatly helped reduce my hyperpigmentation, which is a huge problem I have (I have Asian skin). It left my skin feeling soft the next day but I only use it at night because it's pretty heavy and I use makeup during the day. Instead of drying out and "pushing" your pimples to the top to form a head, AHA+ diminishes them and helps with inflammation. Would definitely recommend.

Pros:

it doesn't sting at all. its absorbed quickly it helps prevent breakouts and its helping my existing acne. it helps my redness

Cons:

my skins purging yuck it doesn't actually smelll that bad it smells kinda good in a weird way.you really shouldn't have a problem with the amount of aha that is dispensed unless you are a moron.

ok..i had a really BAD breakout on my chin like every inch of my chin was covered in under the skin zits. AHA really helped with that breakout.during the first few days my skin felt really smooth but then it started getting a rough texture and my skin started purging(well not my chin my breakout on my chin just started to go away). ah the wonderful feeling of purging. My purge just finished. I'm getting no new breakouts and the pimples from the purge are going away. I will order this product again It is purty dam awesome. im not clear yet but ive only used it for a week i will do another review once ive used this product longer.

Pros:

Left my skin looking and feeling great!

Cons:

None so far

I have been using this product regularly for about a few weeks and I am amazed at the results. I have tried EVERYTHING!! Prescription meds worth hundreds of dollars just to make my skin flaky and dull. This brightens my skin and made my moderate acne look like I had basically none at all. I'm hoping that in a few more weeks my hyper-pigmentation will be completely gone! Right on Dan!

Pros:

gets problem areas to form whiteheads and eventually fade away. Great for spot treatment after i moisturize

Cons:

burning and stinging senation lasted for an hour. it took a little long to dry

great product, like nothing else out there, if you have problem zits this should take care of them in a week or less. Just the burning is worse than any other product out there, so its not for people with very serious skin.

Its good buy it!
I was initially really hesitant to add this to my routine (I have been following Daniel Kerns 3-Step system, but only using it in the evenings with a light moisturizer in the morning), but I can say it has made a huge difference! The flakiness that I was experiencing is drastically reduced and my skin tone is more even overall. Its not going to give you perfect skin, but it will help! ONE THING, I mix this 50/50 with Daniel Kern's moisturizer. I feel like this is the reason I have not had bad reactions to this product. Also, DO NOT GET NEAR YOUR EYES. It will be bad!

Pros:

Gentle, soothing even though it's exfoliating.
Really good for the overall tone of skin whether acne is an issue in that area or not.
Great price (even with conversion and delivery to NZ)
Nice consistency, smooths on easy, a little goes a long way.
Good size, you don't feel like you need to save it for just your face, can slap it on everywhere!

Cons:

NONE AT ALL

Awesome product, great value, quality AHA regardless of whether you need it for acne or just general skin care. Gentle enough to use on neck, chest and bust too. Won't be without it now.

Pros:

smooth out skin, makes your skin baby soft after using it consistently for a few days. smells kind of good. Good exfoliator for blackheads.

Cons:

I have not seen a dramatic change in brown spots, considering I have used it for a month. did not do anything to whiteheads that I have had for long time.

overall, It is something everyone should at least have in their bathroom. it is good for occasional treatments. I wouldn't recommend to use it daily since it is kind of harsh on kind. if you are looking for a AHA natural alternative: try Apple Cider Vinegar, only in organic form though! use it as a toner or drink it daily, works great!
