Acne.org : AHA+ (Glycolic Acid - 10%)

I was a bit nervous about using this after I read experiences of people who had gotten clogged pores from using it... my skin seems to clog with just about anything. But I was lucky to not have any clogging with this product, and no purging either. It makes my skin very soft. I have seen a bit of improvement with the red spots on my face but they're definitely still there. However, they were super red, and all over my face (basically like a huge sunburn) so I can see it is going to be a while till they fade entirely. But this product is certainly helping.

Great product. This, along with the acne.org benzoyl peroxide has changed my life! The AHA+ takes care of flakiness once and for all. I used to always have patches of dry skin. I use a small amount of this combined with Cetaphil cream every night, and I never have dryness anymore. I also have some hyperpigmentation, and this helps even out my skin tone. Very amazing product. This makes my skin much more sensitive to sun though. If I am in direct sunlight for more than 10 minutes without sunscreen, my face will feel slightly burned. I do have very fair skin already. Also, be careful not to get this in your eyes or mouth. It seems easy to do, and will sting, especially your eyes. On price, this tube will last you a very, very long time, so it's worth the cost. Thank you so much Dan and everyone at acne.org!

i've use most facial products for men on the market. as part of the regimen, AHA+ completes it. exactly what is says. even tone. Its become a must in my routine.

AHA+ saved my life!! My skin is pretty clear except that i was getting small cystic like bumps on my T zone a few months ago. I was freaking out and panicking about what to do. Then one day i stumbled across a tube a AHA+ that i had purchased a long time ago but for some reason never actually tried out. I covered my whole face with a thin layer of this product and let it work its magic over night and when i woke up in the morning my face felt smoother and the bumps had visibly reduced in size. Now iv been religiously using it for the last month and absolutely LOVE it. I'm not sure if my face has become anymore sensitive to sunlight seeing as its winter at the moment and im mostly inside, but once summer comes around ill write another review letting you guys know if iv experienced any sunlight sensitivity.

I love this stuff! It has honestly been a miracle product for my skin. Im 26 and never had a problem with acne until several years ago. I've tried products with salicylic acid, benzyl peroxide, and sulfer, and none of them have done much good. I purchased the AHA lotion hoping it would even out some of the scars that I've been getting due to my acne outbreaks, but it has actually done more than that. It's cured my acne! At night I wash my face with a gentle clenser and use the AHA lotion (every night as it does not irritate my skin at all). In the mornig I use a gentle cleanser again and use cetaphil's oil control SPF 30 moisturizer. I've only used this product for about a month and my skin hasn't looked this good in at least 3 years! I'm 38 years old and have been struggling with chest acne for the last 10 years. Every May/June when the weather gets hot, I start to break out. Got some relief from antibiotics prescribed by dermatologist, but it always came back after they were done. I know that it was irritated by sweat from golfing, running volleyball, and even just being outside on sunny days. AHA+ has completely cleared me up. I apply it every morning and right before bed.

ive been using this for a few weeks now. nighttime: - wash off makeup and cleanse - apply bp treatment - apply moisturizer - apply aha daytime: - cleanse - apply moisturizer - apply bp treatment - apply makeup (i let my face absorb the product for about 2 mins before applying the next step) i dont use nearly as much of any treatments (bp or aha) that is suggested because i dont need that much. i get blemishes probably more around my time of the month and aha has seemed to lessen the amount of blemishes as well as accelerated the time it takes for post acne marks to fade, which is great!

I remember some years ago...i was in my mid teens...Vaseline intensive care had lotion that had AHA in it...(they don't sell it anymore) and i put it on my face...and my acne was horrible. That stuff worked for me...helped clear it up some. So I was glad that years down the line, with my acne coming back, this stuff is available. I use it at night in replace of the moisturizer and I really think it helps ith the clarity of the skin. I'm a beliver. I've just started using it so i'm going to give it 4 stars for now.

Awesome product, great value, quality AHA regardless of whether you need it for acne or just general skin care. Gentle enough to use on neck, chest and bust too. Won't be without it now.
