Acne.org : AHA+ (Glycolic Acid - 10%)

If you are considering an AHA, but want a gentle one that is not too harsh you should really try this one. I have tried many expensive brands and most of them either caused me to break out or burned real bad. This one is gentle yet effective, so why not give it a try.

I'm a 25 year old woman of color who suffers, not so much from acne anymore, but from acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. So I purchased the acne.org system to keep my skin from future acne and purchased the glycolic acid to treat my scars. After about 2 weeks, I've noticed a tremendous change in the texture of skin, it's tone and the brightness. If you don't get the full system because you have your acne under control and you just want help with the hyperpigmentation, I would get this product TODAY! It's amazing. Even my family notices a difference in my skin. I wish I could figure out how to post before and after photos to prove to you all that this stuff works! It's does tingle at first but once your skin gets use to it, it's just like moisturizer!

This product is really fantastic. I've noticed a drastic change in the texture and tone of my skin. I started using AHA+ about a month after using the Acne.org BP every night (also a very worthwhile product). It does a great job of removing the flakiness the BP causes. I only use AHA+ at night as it leaves a bit of a film on the skin. Regardless, it makes a great night cream and I've seen a vast improvement in the texture of my skin in the past few months. I'm really excited to see how long term use of this product will continue to improve my skin. Overall, I cannot recommend Acne.org products enough. This is the only product that cleared up my acne and prevented it from coming back. Took accutane four years ago and my acne came back with a vengeance. I used this for 6 months and I now have clear skin. I still have a few old blemishes that I'm waiting to fade, but other than that I don't have any more pimples. I get compliments from family and relatives about how smooth and youthful and my skin look. I'm guessing this also help prevent 'wrinkles' because of its exfoliating properties.

In a nutshell, this is the closest thing to a "miracle product" that I have ever tried in my life (much more so than benzoyl peroxide, which just didn't work for me). This AHA+ lotion turned my congested, greasy, sensitive, reddened, gross-looking skin into soft, smooth, feminine, near-perfect skin whose flaws have been reduced to only some oiliness at the nose (as opposed to on the entire face) and some residual, healing red areas (probably from old acne). My skin used to alternate from being a total oil slick to dry and flaky - but now it feels normalized and unnoticeable all day, like the skin on the rest of my body. I remember when I would have given anything to have skin like this, and now I have it. And it is by far the most cost effective AHA product on the market. Thank you so much, Dan!!

I use this product as directed: I worked it into my regimen after my skin had become accustomed to everything else; I only use the AHA every other night. The product was pretty painful in the beginning but the stinging absolutely wore off. The morning after I use AHA my flakes are gone and my scars and hyperpigmentation have disappeared. Miracle product here!

Okay, after reading all the great reviews on here I was just crossing my fingers that this lotion would work just as well for my skin. After one night, I have already noticed a difference in my skin texture. My make-up went on super silky today. I'm really excited right now, i had to write a review right away. The Regimen changed my life and the way I feel about myself! I came back from a year long backpacking trip where my skin completely cleared up and when I came home into a very stressful situation (my dad passed away) my already acne prone skin flared up with intensity. I had cystic acne on my cheeks and jawline (at least 5-10 at a time). I had acne under my skin on my forehead, a lot of little bumps around my temples, and pimples I could sometimes pop on my inner cheeks next to my nose. I tried Aczone and Adapalene but neither worked and they made my skin look really dull. I finally stumbled across Acne.org Regimen in December of 2015 so I've been using it for 8 or 9 months now. The first two months were hard. I had really dry, red skin but I could tell that my skin was healing. By month 5 & 6 my forehead and inner cheek acne almost completely disappeared besides the occasional break out. My cystic acne was stubborn but I can say now that I have not had 1 cystic break out for at least 2 months! I added AHA to my regimen about 5 months after starting the Regimen and I feel like that made a huge difference. I mix it with the lotion every night equal parts. I am so happy and confident with my skin now! It is completely clear! I cannot express enough that you need to give the Regimen time to heal your acne! The longer I stay on it the more beautiful my skin is. The only thing I have now is a little bit of scarring and dark marks that I can easily cover with makeup. I use Bare Minerals complexion rescue which has never made me break out and is really light weight! Please try to Regimen & stick with it if you're struggling with acne! It will change your life.

I've only been using this stuff for about 4 days (morning and night), but wow! It's already started to fade my hyperpigmentation from past breakouts, and my skin is incredibly smooth. I can't wait to see what this stuff is going to do in the long run! Oh, and you get a lot of this product for the price! You only need about a thumbnail sized amount to cover your whole face!

I love this stuff!!!!! If you have problems with it at first, I was using a very very thin layer of jojoba or cetaphil lotion under the AHA to get my skin used to it (I also started using it in the DeAd of winter, so you probably won't even need to do this!) It's a pretty gentle product as far as acne treatments go. My skin is usually dry/combo/sensitive/acne prone, so it hates harsh stuff. This ain't harsh. ;) Helps my skin look smoother, i recommend exfoliating every few days since it appears to have accelerated my skin's sloughing process (which i think is the whole point?) I use Olay sensitive skin gentle cleaning cloths in a circular motion to get all the dead skin off. Try this stuff. Trust me. :)
