Pros:

Great spot treatment; brings pimples to a head quickly; great for hyperpigmentation, gets rid of flakiness and leaves skin soft and dewy. Great for bacne/doesn't bleach clothing.

Cons:

you may need to prepare your skin for glycolic acid before using this. it stings when you put it on, and my face gets a bit red. the product can ball up and it can be hard to apply make up afterwards (I splash water on my face to remove excess AHA)

When I first tried this product a year ago, I wasn't impressed. It stung and felt slimy on my skin. It did work well as a spot treatment for small pimples on my back, but for some reason I forgot about it. Since then, I've done lactic acid peels and switched to retin a micro to control my hyperpigmentation/non inflamed acne with moderate results. Anyway, I recently broke out and my skin was so dry from the retin a micro and badly needed moisture and exfoliation. I tried the AHA and had fantastic results. It healed my pimples, exfoliated and moisturized my skin, and the hyperpigmentation marks are fading much faster than usual. It seems like my skin is absorbing the AHA much better - which maybe due to all the other stuff I've tried. It also seems to work better when you use it on its own and give it ample time to absorb into your skin. I am loving this and if I keep getting these fantastic results I will throw out everything else I've been using. Thank you Dan!

Pros:

Skin will look smoother and it will fade dark marks.
Tube lasts for a long time.
The price is so cheap for the amount of product/quality you get. and

Cons:

You have to buy online, but the shipping service is so fast.

I waited over a year to write this review. I really wanted to make sure this product worked and it does! If you have sensitive skin, or you never used glycolic acid before, your skin will sting for a couple of seconds and look pink (where applied) but after your skin is used to the product then it feels like your rubbing on a gel-cream. A little bit goes a long way and when you use this product over the BP, your skin will look so smooth the next morning. I also use this as a spot treatment and when I do, the dark mark ALWAYS seems lighter and will fade much faster. The bottom line is to try it and just order one tube and you'll be glad you did. I'm placing a new roder for this prduct today =)

Pros:

A MUST! bring blemishes to the surface and make skin softer. it also is good to use exfoliant when using it so all the dead skin goes and it makes your skin really even! :)

Cons:

haven't stumbled upon any

It really refines your skin. if you have a few zits here and there just a dab and the next day it will appear and from there you do what you want.if you want perfect skin you need to buy it. :D

Pros:

Smells great, nice lotion texture, a lot of product for your money, flip top cap dispenses just the right amount. Dries fairly quickly.

Cons:

Sometimes it balls up on certain parts of my face. Not sure why-it's totally random. would not recommend using this during the day due to the balling up issue and the sensitivity to the sun factor.

I use this after I apply the BP. I wait 10 minutes to let the BP dry, then apply the AHA all over my face. I use about a pea and a half. I havent noticed anything major on my face, but i have only been using it for a week. I did not feel a sting or anything. I am using it on my neck too and it SEEMS a bit smoother? My neck creases don't seem to be as noticeable? I don't see any lighting of my dark spots (yet) though. Not sure if will repurchase.

great exfoliant
I love using this because it gets rid of all the build up & dead skin after using the benzoyl peroxide. My skin is dry from it, and applying the AHA at night makes my face smooth and clean after I wash my face in the morning! I also love this for when I decide to apply anything such as foundation/concealer/powder. I haven't been wearing any face makeup, but when I do, I use AHA the night before with whatever day it falls into my routine. If I don't, my face is crusty and everything clings to dry patches. It's best to just avoid putting makeup on your face until the next morning from when you apply the AHA at night if you want your face to look a bit less dry! I always wondered what other people do when it comes to this regimen using makeup, and this is what I found that works for me! :) hope this helps

AHA+
Can someone tell me how much of the AHA should I use. I have the tube and I'm going to be using it full 2 days a week. But I do not know how much from the tube is equivalent to replace the 2 pumps of moisturizer.

Need help
I don't have severe acne, or active acne I just have lingering red dots and scars. I was googling, how to get rid of acne scars and ranned into acne.org and it showed me this product the aha + glycolic. So I bought it, I haven't used it yet because I'm not sure if it's safe to just start off with just using this product. Or even how to use this product. Any advice?

Why have you posted a bad review for a product you have never used? This could be the best product you have ever used and you have rated it as the worst product you have ever used.

J just need help using it ?

Use one pump mixed with your moisturizer. That should do the trick. I didn't see that you gave a bad review?? You were just asking how to use the product. That's what you are supposed to do to get the information you need.

This product saved my live
after the initial little purge you might get, and slight irritation of the skin, this product really keeps your skin in great condition. I do believe that every person is different, and the treatments that may work for me, may not work for other people, but this product truly changed my life. It's my life blood and I don't go anywhere without it. It really drastically improved my skin over time, and when I do get a small breakout from time to time, I never really stress out because I know the product will eventually eliminate it. I used this product on my face and I have to say it might be strong for some people, but for me it worked wonders! great product

Only thing that works for me.
I use this on my face, back, and chest daily. Whenever I stop using it for a few days, I get breakouts. It doesn't dry out your skin or make it feel tight. Also, you can apply moisturizer or makeup over it. It's wonderful. Only thing is, don't expect overnight results. This product is meant to help over a period of time. The first time I used it, it took about 5 days or so before I noticed I wasn't getting new breakouts (could have been shorter, but that's when I noticed the biggest difference).
